1850s Antique Staffordshire England Copper Luster Individual 3" Creamer Pitcher
Here is a lovely little antique creamer glazed in copper luster and made in the Staffordshire area of England from the 1840s to the 1860s. Copper luster was popular during the period because it reflected the gas lights that brightened each home in the evening hours. This creamer is an early piece with no manufacturer's mark and is made from ironstone dipped in copper luster. The individual creamer measures 3 1/4 inches tall and 3 1/4 inches in diameter from the spout to the handle. The copper glaze is in beautiful condition. With no stains. LANCASTER HANLEY ENGLAND PITCHER COPPER LUSTER 2 1/2" TALL EXCELLENT CONDITION
This auction is for a Lancaster of Hanley England cream pitcher with copper luster accents. It is a little creamer pitcher which stands about 2 1/2 inches tall inches tall and is in very good condition. I see no condition issues, no breaks, no repairs, no chips, no cracks, no crazing, no stains. I know it looks like there is a red dot on the copper rim, but that is a reflection from the red eye on my camera's auto light sensor. There is no such spot actually on the pitcher.

This is a lovely antique copper luster(lustre) milk or cream pitcher from the late 1800's.found in a local estate sale and fresh to the market. Clean and simple lines and wonderful deep blue in the colored band. Pitcher is 3-1/2 inches tall and 4-1/2 inches from spout to handle. Mouth is 2-3/8 inches in diameter and base is 2-1/2 inches in diameter. Overall in very good condition.base shows wear and small white area that appears to be leftover from a sticky tag. Given its ultra dazzling pure coppery solid shine glaze with a thick one inch lower body band in deep navy blue accented by a scroll of more coppery shine flowers borne on a vine all around. It has a pleasing shape with pear form bulbous lower body with an elegant neckline and petite handle with a small flange design. Please study the pictures as I laid it down to show you all angles and exposures. The pictures do not do the high shine any justice here. But it just glows all by itself, especially under a table lamp. The original purpose of the whole copper lustre idea was to ... morebrighten dark coal heated cottages with afforable ceramic tablewares for the period easily obtainable for the mass society of the time. Condition Report: There is a 1/4" light glaze chip to UNDER side of spout mouth only. It does not show on top inner surface. There is a wavy inclusion that has overglaze on rim near handle that is in-the-making manufacture flaw. not an after damage; I just point this out to be picky. The base, handle, body are all fine and sound with no damage. High Bidder acknowledges acceptance of one tiny spout flaw when placing a bid. Antique WADE England copper lusterware 5.75" pitcher with some damages. One small chip on pour rim that has been touched up with maybe paint. Don't know. The handle is cracked with fleabite chip and crack most seen on inside near where handle is attached, some rust in the bottom with some cracking seen on the bottom above the hallmark and crazing. Could be used for crafts.

You are bidding on an elegantly simple Copper Luster Pitcher that dates to 1909+ period. Made by Gibson& Sons in England. The mark is a little hard to see so I found a drawing on the web that shows it. There are some other numbers and letters that show up in the 3rd photo as blue. They seem to be on top of the glaze and I don't know what they mean. The pitcher has no cracks. No crazing, no chips, no repairs. There are a few little grain-of-sand-size blips in the glaze. This belonged to my grandmother who was married in 1912.

Antique Allertons Longton England Copper Lusterware Jug/Pitcher with Rose This is a great little English copper lustre jug(pitcher) There is a pink shaded rose and a few other flowers and leaves enameled over the lustre on both sides of the jug. The jug itself has a molded design in the body. The lustre extends to the inside of the jug and shows some pink lustre underneath. This would be a lovely addition to any collection. It is marked on the bottom. ALLERTONS LONGTON ENGLAND” The condition is very good. The copper lustre is bright and so is the enameling. There are several flakes to the paint on the rose(please see photos) But no other chips or cracks. It is nice and clean inside, and ready to be used or placed on display.

Beautiful antique copper luster ware pitcher/creamer. Created in England by Allertons Longton. A Stafforshire Pottery, in the late 19th century. There is a lovely hand-painted flora overglaze and an appealing interior white slip-wash the begins below its neck. There is a hair-line crack that I have photographed. Antique England Copper Luster Art Nouveau ceramic Pitcher STAFFORDSHIRE? 7"
This piece is very interesting the glaze is more of a pinkish than copper don't know if this is because fading over the years it has chips on the bottom which show a base of a white clay then a bit of a bluish glaze with the copper pink overtop. On the inside is a white shiny glaze with blue undertones. There is a design on the pitcher it's unique to this style of pitcher it's an abstract squiggly type of pattern it has a very Art Nouveau look with this bohemian type pattern on the pinkish copper. Vase does have chips on bottom and inside part of handle there is some where on the glaze on the handle slight chip slight chip on the poor spout refer to photos this is a very unique piece of pottery still beautiful. Old Castle England Copper Luster Blue 2 1/2" Pitcher Burgundy Miniature
2 1/2" high at handle. Lovely pattern. Copper luster and blue luster, actually, the pictures kept showing a pinkish burgundy color and when I really look, it's what it is. It has a sort of burgundy look around the collar and edge on top. No chips or cracks or crazing but there is a vey small pin head sized flaw in the glaze, I show it in the last picture. VINTAGE Lusterware Copper& Navy Blue Floral Cream Pitcher Post-1891 Made in England. This richly colored cream pitcher is a fine example of post 1891 lusterware! The creamer is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks. Lusterware is a type of pottery with a metallic glaze that gives the effect of iridescence. Produced by metallic oxides in an overglaze finish, which when given a second firing at a lower temperature in a reduction kiln(which excludes oxygen) results in a high-gloss metallic finish.
