All three pieces included in one auction. All pieces have backstamp as seen in photo. No chips or cracks or crazing on any of the pieces. One dinner plate has a glaze imperfection as seen in the close up photo, the other two plates have no glaze imperfections. All rims on all three plates are smooth to the touch. All pieces ring clearly when tapped gently and all have original gloss. All pieces are smooth and shiny and there is very little use on any of the pieces, they look as if they did not see much service at all. This is a very nice three piece set and perfect as an addition to your collection. Hard to find another ten piece place setting like this out there that does not ship from Canada or England. I am in California and ship anywhere in the continental US. Hawaii and Alaska extra. APOs are extra as well. Antique Royal Doulton Lambeth Hunting Scene Rare Dog Handle, Pitcher
This is a lovely fine English pitcher. From the 1800's with applied figures. Around the plumpest part of the belly are horses, hunting scenes and dogs. The deep red iron oxide glaze glows orangy brown on the yellow clay of the stoneware body, while it changes to a nice ochre where the dip covered the figural decoration. The rare handle is applied, and is a wonderfully formed hunting dog. Condition of this beautiful pitcher is good with one small chip on the lip. And firing lines where the spout is joined which is typical in the manufacture of these pieces. This is a beautiful and nearly perfect Morrisianware pitcher from Royal Doulton. It is decorated with scenes of ladies in Classical drape dancing and playing musical instruments in a blue on white color palette. It measures slightly over 6.5" tall and 4.25" across the base. It has the B7 mark for Royal Doulton and the Morrisian badge. The underglaze serial number is D1016 and indicates manufacture in 1901. There are no chips anywhere on the piece; it's only issue is a tiny hairline visible only on the inside and it's only.75" long- it's really a very fine line not detectable with a fingernail. I don't know how old this is. But other listings on here for it had it under antiques so I went ahead and put it in the same category. No cracks or chips, but it does have a few scuff marks, example shown in the last picture. Those really are not that visible unless you twist it around in the light looking for them. There are a few dark spots, small ones, that I think are mostly just natural or age-related. 6 1/2" tall. The inside has some discoloration as well, shown in the third-to-last picture.

Presented is a gorgeous and rare flow blue Royal Doulton pitcher: This gorgeous piece has striking detail and design depicting an orange tree pattern with surrounding flowers and birds. The pitcher is decorated with a very rich cobalt blue coloring against a flat white background accented by rust orange coloring. The trim is painted in gold. The pitcher is quite large and measures 11" wide by 10" tall. There is a"Doulton Burslem Tudor" stamp on the bottom. Which I have pictured. The pitcher is nice used condition with some wear. There are no chips or cracks to this piece. This is a highly decorative and collectible piece. All reasonable offers will be considered. This auction is for a Striking& Unique Art Nouveau Designed Pitcher and Wash Bowl Set made by Doulton of Burslem. England. The Set Displays Wonderfully together and will instantly become the Decorative Focal Point of any room. Both pieces are Impressively Decorated in a Scroll and Floral design in pink. Tan, yellow, green and purple and the pitcher has a neatly shaped handle. The set dates to the 1890s. It is in good condition. Especially for that age. The bowl has a toned spider web crazing mark on the bottom. It is not a crack and doesn't show go through. The inside of the bowl has age appropriate loss to the floral design and some loss of the gold trim decorations. Doulton Burslem Flow Blue Wash Bowl/Basin This beautiful Doulton Bowl dates from 1885-1902 according to the maker's mark. It is approximately 17" wide at its widest point and 5.5" deep. It has some nicks on the top edge that someone has filled in with gold paint. They are small. But there are several of them on the one side. I did not notice them until I felt the rim and then looked closely. The inside of the bowl has one large spray of blue flowers and two smaller. They appear to be a combination of roses and possibly peonies. There is also an embossed swirl on the inside of the bowl. There are only some very faint markings on the bottom which I have not been able to read at all, but I believe this is a Doulton& Watts pitcher from the early to mid 1800s. It has hunting scenes on the sides. One side shows hunting dogs and a magnificent stag. The other side shows dogs taking down a wild boar. The pitcher is about 5 and 3/4 inches tall and about 5 and 3/4 inches wide from the far edge of the handle to the tip of the spout. This auction is for a Superb Pitcher or Ewer made by Doulton of Burslem. England in the late 1800s and sold by the Boston Retailer Abram French& Co. It is Beautifully designed and decorated with a Colorful Floral Pattern and an Art Nouveau design and Tan Matte Finish. The colors and decorations are Very Clear and Bright as is the Gold trim in the spout and the handle. Some might consider this a pitcher while others might view it as an Ewer. Either way. Antique Doulton Lambeth Small Pitcher with"Toby" Motif You are bidding on a Doulton Lambeth earthenware pitcher made between 1891 and 1901. I believe 1891 was the year"England" was added to the Doulton Lambeth mark and the mark was again changed in 1901 to add a Royal Warrant. The pitcher measures approximately 4.25" tall and 4.25" from belly to handle edge. The motif is in three Toby Character-styled raised tableau: a man enjoying a pint. A man enjoying a pipe with his terrier and a wrinkled older gent- probably just enjoying the day. Maybe the three ages of man. I try to be very picky and precise with my condition reports so you know exactly what you're bidding for. There are no cracks or chips. I would say the condition is very. Very nice. This flow blue six piece ironstone wash basin set in the Florida pattern was made by Doulton Burslem in England. The back stamp indicates it dates to 1891-1902. The set includes a very large pitcher and basin. Two chamber pots, a tall mug, and a section of a soap dish. The photos are arranged to show the items in that order. The set is in various conditions. The large basin has been beautifully restored after being broken in a number of places. Observe in photo#4 a yellowing color which shows where repairs were made in the early 70’s; the surface, however, remains smooth and shows no cracks. One of the chamber pots has three chips out of the top rim, the other a small one. Presented here is a very beautiful 7 inch pitcher with an all over pattern of swirling flowers and leaves against a cream colored background. The flowers are shaded and are both red and dark blue. The vines and leaves are in several shades of green. There is a lot of gilt around the rim. The handle and outlines of the dark flowers. Please note the beautifully decorated rim and handle. The texture of this pitcher is exquisite. The dimensions are: 7" height. Widest width not including handle about 5" base diameter 3 1/8" spout to opposite side, 3 3/4" The weight is 1 1/2 lb. This 8 inch Pitcher has beautiful vivid colors. It has.What I think are Pine Trees around the top edge. The rest has.I think they are Chrysanthemums,that are Turquoise white and gold colors. The Blue is a nice dark Cobalt. Now to the damage-there is minor spout chip and a small piece missing on the right side.And on the left side there is a chip. There is a hairline on the bottom.But this is very tight. Having had several things restored over the years.This damage should repair fairly easily.Or just display as it is. People are getting carried away with demanding perfect items. I blame some of this on the Roadshow-it is hard to find perfect items without repair. Especially in old Ceramics. 100 year old items were used and do have damage. I discovered this in a old Department store warehouse here in Dayton. This is a lovely antique pitcher that stands 11 1/2" tall and is in very nice condition with no chips or cracks. It has like the little strainer part built into the spout. The spout looks off colored in the picture. But it is the gold leaf there. The handle and all gold trim is in very good condition. The bottom is incised IVORY and 6 90 and another mark, which I can't make out. It has the crown mark with"DOULTON BURSLEM. Tell me how you got hold of this washbowl. APPRAISER: If we take out the pitcher and set it aside. We can turn up the bowl so that we can get a closer look at the design. This has a really elaborate cobalt blue under glaze design of iris. On top of that is a really elaborate gold work. The gold is actually raised up, which is a more expensive process than flat gold. On the bottom, we can turn it over and take a look at the mark. It is made by the Royal Doulton Company. This is before it was Royal. This mark was used from about 1891 to about 1902. This is a remarkable piece of antique Doulton pottery which is in fabulous condition. The makers mark on the underside indicates that the piece dates from 1891 through 1902(photos 8 and 9) This is the period prior to the maker becoming Royal Doulton. In 1871 Henry Doulton launched the Doulton pottery studio in Lambeth England. This studio was located in the infamous area known as the Potteries region. The company came to the attention of the royal family in 1901. Which is when the Royal was added to the Doulton name. At this time they became one of the finest makers of the highest quality bone china. The company is still in operation today as it was merged with Waterford and Wedgwood within the parent company WWRD Holdings Limited. This particular pitcher presents in excellent condition despite its great age. The design and craftsmanship ... moredemonstrates how well it was made. The main body is a ridged creamy beige, and the top portion and handle are a wonderful high gloss finish in a brown tortoise shell color. There is a cobalt blue band with a light blue raised design on it, around the bottom and top of the beige body. On the main body there is a raised design of light blue flowers with brown stems, all the way around. The attention to detail is exceptional, as is every other aspect of this piece. It stands 8 and a 1/2 in tall, and measures 15 and 3/4 in all the way around at the widest point(photo 12)The top opening is 3 in, and the weight is under 2 pounds. A piece such as this is very special; it has a deep rich history along with a beautiful appearance. It shows no wear whatsoever, and will display with grace and sophistication. Antique pitcher and bowl set from about 1900, Royal Doulton
This huge pitcher and bowl set is marked Royal Doulton and dates from about 1901. Very impressive and showy. I understand that if it was in perfect condition I could easily expect to realize $1000-1500 for it at auction. And retail would be significantly higher. However, it is not perfect. The bowl has a small chip near the rim(see photo) The pitcher has a number of hairlines. I have photographed some of them, and later in the week I will add photos of the others, and hopefully also a clearer photograph of the mark. These are noticeable up close, but the set displays very well. There are very few such sets available today, that are genuinely Royal Doulton and dating from around 1900, and certainly that are this large.

1902-32 Ant Royal Doulton Lg Pitcher w/Huntsman Scene; Rare Beauty
This is a wonderful antique pitcher made by Royal Doulton of England. It bears an authentic makers mark on the underside. Dating it back as far as 1902, through 1932. The company began in The Potteries, England in 1815, as Doulton. In 1901 it was recognized by the king, and the Royal was added to their title, as was the crown mark. They had, and still have, a superior reputation as one of the very finest makers of English porcelain. I believe this to be a rare piece, as I haven't found another large pitcher in this pattern. The condition is overall excellent; there is some crazing under magnification, and one very minute area wher the paint is off(as seen in photo 4) Neither of these things are serious or troublesome, and I still consider the condition to be excellent. It features a hunting scene on one side, and trees/brush/bushes and ... morefoliage, on the other side. The background is done in yellow and cream, and the large sized handle has green trim. The hunting scene depicts 3 hunters on horseback, one woman, 2 men, and a hunting dog. There are sparse trees in the upper portion of the scene, and around the entire piece there are plains in the backdrop. The large sized pitcher stands 8 and 3/4 in tall with a top opening of 6 and a 1/2 in. At the center, it measures 19 and a 1/2 in all the way around, and the weight is about 2 pounds. This is a special piece, as it has everything going for it. It has awesome size and presence, a great hunting themed motif, great age and history, and it presents in fabulous condition. All things considered, the pitcher is a definite winner. Collectors and enthusiasts of huntsman scenes, as well as those of antique Royal Doulton, won't want to miss out on this rare beauty. Great. 12" tall, antique Doulton Burslem, Iris pattern, pitcher, with decoration in dark blue. Top edge has gold detailing. Marked with the Doulton trademark, used 1886- 1902. On the edge of the bottom, there is impressed lettering, Ivory" There are other decorator marks as shown. No chips or cracks. There is loss to the gold detail on the top edge and handle. Look on the image of the bottom. There are three. Faint, lines of crazing to the glaze. NOT hairlines. There is no other crazing on the piece. All items are 100% guaranteed to be as described. This piece has been in my family for decades and spent most of its life in a display hutch. B eautiful and in my opinion perfect Morrisianware pitcher from Royal Doulton. It is decorated with scenes of ladies in classical drape dancing and playing musical instruments in a blue on white color palette. It measures slightly over 6.5" tall and 4.25" across the base. It has the B7 mark for Royal Doulton and the Morrisian badge. The under glaze serial number is D1016 and indicates manufacture in 1901. There are no chips anywhere on the piece and I cannot detect any cracks. The first pictures are from a expensive camera which tends to"yellow" the item. Last pictures are from a less expensive camera and represent the item colors better. It measures roughly 7 1/2" tall to the top of the handle x 3 3/4" in diameter at its widest. It is marked on the underside of the base with a printed company stamp and an impressed number which you can see illustrated in the 2nd image. The condition is very good. It has one very tiny flea bite glaze flake on the top edge of the upper rim which you can see if you look very closely at the 6th image, otherwise, there are no other chips, cracks, flakes, hairlines or restoration. Off white background with dark green decor. SIZE: Measurements are approximate. Basin: 14 1/2" in diameter. 4 5/8" tall. Pitcher: 10 1/2" to top of handle, 10" total width. Up for bid is this Antique Doulton Ewer with a Floral/Leaf Design. Doulton& Co at Burslem became Royal Doulton Company in 1902. The marking on the bottom date it from Ca. 1886-1891. It is 8 7/8" Tall and 3 3/8" wide. It is in Very Good to Excellent condition and the gold is in excellent condition for being at least 124 years old(see photos) The pictures I took don't do it justice. Doulton Burslem antique ceramic pitcher, blue/pink floral/gold trim, ~1890
Large antique pitcher by Doulton Burslem. Pitcher stands 8" tall and 9" diameter at the widest point. Pattern is a stunning blue and pink floral with hand-painted gold leaf accents on a cream field. The style hints at turn of the century orientalism. Neck is dark blue with very fine gold floral and leaf pattern. The style of the maker's mark dates it to between 1886-1891. Condition: the rim and spout of this pitcher are badly chipped with substantial pieces missing. For display. It looks passable from one side(handle on the left) if level to the eye. The other side is badly damaged(see photos) Use it as a vase to hold flowers and the chips will be invisible. The glaze also shows some crazing typical to this maker.

Nice large 1880s Doulton & Co. Limited Lambeth stoneware jug (very solid)
We are listing this nice very large and solid Doulton stoneware jug from the 1880s. It is 9 inches tall. 8.5 inches at its widest point, and is marked on the bottom with the impressed number 20 and the oval DOULTON& CO. LIMITED LAMBETH logo in use by itself before 1891(when they added a MADE IN ENGLAND stamp) It is in good condition for a functional piece of pottery this old, but it does have some rub lines around the lower part of the body, a couple of tiny rubs on the handle, and a small flake off the base. Antique Doulton Burslem Large Pitcher in "Pomegranate" Pattern, 1886 - 11" Tall
Extraordinary pitcher by Doulton. Burslem, in pattern"Pomegranate" rarely do you find this pattern in multi-colors. This pitcher has gorgeous coloring, superb transferware printing, and a wonderful full shape, with its wide mouth spout. Unfortunately, it does have a repair on one corner of the spout, as you can see in pictures#10(outside) and#11(inside) Also, as is common with antique ceramics, there is crazing throughout, though in my opinion, it doesn't detract from the beauty of the piece. The pitcher measures 11" tall and has a bowl diameter of 8" I did my best to capture the style and quality in pictures.
