Decorative Brown Glaze Salt Pottery Hand Craft Pitcher Jug 12 inches tall
This pottery pitcher is beautiful. It is rather heavy and is 12 inches and 6 inches across the top and enlarges and it goes down. This pot is handmade on a potter's wheel; one can tell by the marks inside the pot. The glaze goes down half way and then the finish is a rough circular pattern.

Up for auction is this charming little pitcher made in Hanley England. The bottom isn’t completely legible so I can’t find any additional information about exactly who. When or where it was made. The design is pink on white floral with an iridescent bronze edging that is very appealing. The crazing just adds to the charm. There are no chips or cracks. Hand Made Clay Jug, ARKANSAS, Decorative Pottery,
You are bidding on a hand made jug from Arkansas. This was a gift many years ago from Arkansas friends who filled it with whiskey. Of course the whiskey is long gone. Even the scent is missing. The jug is made from red clay with a white glaze and the words"W H I T 1657" on it. I don't know the meaning of this marking. Perhaps you do. But it has been a decor item for many years. The jug has no cracks or chips and is in really good condition. It measures 8 1/4" high excluding the cork. And 17 1/2" around. Antique Salt Glazed White Stoneware Floral Decorative Pottery Pitcher It is marked on the bottom with a shield and I think is says"Worthington" and another word that I think starts with a"G" but I can't make it out. Maybe a bidder can let me know what it says. This antique 6 1/2" tall floral and leaf high relief decorative pitcher is made of a high fired porcelain or white stoneware with a salt glazed coating. Unsigned. Great intricate details. The condition is excellent condition with no chips or cracks except for a line on the inside where the handle is attatched which I think is a factory flaw. Large Vintage Decorative 10"H x 9"W Ceramic Pitcher with Crackle Finish. Unused. Beautifully intricate design with pears on branches, leaves, and flowers. The entire pitcher has crackle effect(both inside and outside) The design itself appears to have been possibly hand-painted with a very fine painting instrument above the crackle finish. It is quite heavy. This is from my mother's estate. She collected decorative pitchers. I have no idea of the vintage or the maker. Please look at photographs closely for any marks or defects.
