BEAUTIFUL AUTHENTIC EUROPEAN ANTIQUE CHOCOLATE POT IN EXCELLENT CONDITION Chocolate Pot is around 100 years old or more Some of the gilt has worn off from around the top of the pot and handle(as is normal with the age of the pot. Photo shows some scotch tape which is use to make sure the top doesn't fall when it is held The Cover Fits Well and Is Original to the piece I believe it was made from between 1890-1820's I tried to look up the mark and was unsuccessful

Antique CHOCOLATE PITCHER POT & 5 CUPS Pink Snowball Hydrangea DRAMATIC BROWN!
Very unusual DARK and DRAMATIC SET! This auction is for a Chocolate Pot or Pitcher and a set of FIVE(5) Matching Cups. Each is done in a dark Chocolate Brown color with a lighter area that has a vignette of big PINK SNOWBALL HYDRANGEA and LEAVES. Each piece is trimmed with GOLD along their rims. The pitcher has an unsusual fat body shape with a pinched in area to form the pour spout. Pitcher measures 7 inches tall and about 9 inches across from spout to outer edge of handle. The Cups or Mugs measure 3-5/8 inches tall and 3-1/4 inches across the top opening. You will see lots of crazing to the glaze on the inside of the cups and a bit of crazing underneath the base of the pitcher. There is one age crack in one cup that measures 1-1/2 inches long that DOES NOT go through to the outside. You will see some mild little white spots here and there ... morewhere the original brown glaze may have flaked off or had a little scratch. these spots are minuscule and are mentioned for sake of completeness only. There is some wear to the gold on the spout of the pitcher and along the upper rim and more"white spots" on the back side of the pitcher- more noticeable there. Also on the backside of the pitcher is a odd scuffle mark- like someone touched it with a wad of newspaper or something while the glaze was still wet. see the photograph so you can understand what I'm describing. These flaws sound terrible. But overall this set displays MAGNIFICENTLY! The coloring is so unusual and SO DRAMATIC! I would estimate these from the early 1900s or perhaps even earlier. No chips or cracks or repairs. I've never seen another set like it! NO maker's mark. Please ask any and all questions. this set is NOT perfect. But it is gorgeous and it will be sold AS-IS with no returns. Beautiful pitcher with bluish green leafs and vines. This has gold accents around it. It is approx. 6 1/2 inches tall. It has scalloped edge around the top of the pitcher and the handle is very pretty. It looks like it could be German but there are no marks that I can find. I do not see any chips or cracks in this. Rare Antique La Francaise Porcelain Chocolate Pot / Coffee Pot / Pitcher
You are bidding on an old porcelain coffee pot/ chocolate pot or pitcher. My grandmother gave this to me years ago.we always used it as a vase since the lid is missing. Beautiful pitcher is marked"La Francaise Porcelain" Not sure if it is LaFrancaise or La Francaise. The white body is decorated with beautiful pink roses and gold trim along the rim. It stands about 10 1/4 inches tall and is almost 6 inches across at the widest point. It sits on a base that is almost 4 inches across. There is no lid or this item. It has no chips or cracks and has a great Victorian look. There is typical light wear to the gold rim decoration but this is nothing to worry about. Two or three very tiny flea bites on the interior rim edge where the lid would sit.these are hard to see.again.nothing to worry about. This piece makes makes a great presentation ... morepiece. It has a wonderful Victorian look and looks great when filled with a peonies or hydrangeas too. The inside needs cleaned but I don't have a bottle brush to do it. I believe that this gorgeous piece was made around 1900 or 1910.
