Beautiful Victorian Porcelain Pitcher Dunn Bennett Burslem England Primula 1895
This auction is for a Beautiful Antique Semi-Porcelain Pitcher made by Dunn Bennett& Co. of Burslem England in the late 1800s. The pitcher is in the company's pattern known as Primula. A name of a genus of flowers. The pattern is a lovely yellow and brown floral design throughout, including the inside of the spout, against white semi-porcelain and gold accents. The pitcher has a Dunn Bennett& Co. Burslem backstamp as well as a British registration number that is stamped and an impressed registration number. Which dates the production of the piece to 1895. It is in very good condition. Especially for that age. There are no chips or cracks or damage and the colors and images are vivid and bright. There is age-appropriate and minor wear to some of the gold trim and crazing on the underside bottom. Under the top arch of the handle. ... moreThere is a small firing line(a slight split, not a crack) that was done in the manufacturing process(see last photo) It is hard to spot and doesn't detract from the overall appeal of this great find. Doulton Burslem England "Jessica" pitcher Creamer jug Pink floral on white
I don't know how old this is. But other listings on here for it had it under antiques so I went ahead and put it in the same category. No cracks or chips, but it does have a few scuff marks, example shown in the last picture. Those really are not that visible unless you twist it around in the light looking for them. There are a few dark spots, small ones, that I think are mostly just natural or age-related. 6 1/2" tall. The inside has some discoloration as well, shown in the third-to-last picture.

Doulton Burslem Flow Blue Wash Bowl/Basin This beautiful Doulton Bowl dates from 1885-1902 according to the maker's mark. It is approximately 17" wide at its widest point and 5.5" deep. It has some nicks on the top edge that someone has filled in with gold paint. They are small. But there are several of them on the one side. I did not notice them until I felt the rim and then looked closely. The inside of the bowl has one large spray of blue flowers and two smaller. They appear to be a combination of roses and possibly peonies. There is also an embossed swirl on the inside of the bowl. The handles are gently fluted and the shades range from light blue to dark navy. If you have any questions please email and I will respond asap.
