The items listed are from important estate collections including the collection of A. Abraham. If you follow my auctions you will know I have sold a number of important examples from this collection over the past couple months this being the last portion of this amazing collection. Abraham was a highly respected Asian Arts dealer and collector in the 1950-70’ s period and frequently travelled to China. Hong Kong, New York, and London on buying trips at the time. Abraham owned the Imperial Jade shop located in the famous King Edward Hotel in Toronto until his retirement in the year 1976, 37 years ago. When the shop closed many of the pieces were sent to Sotheby’ s in New York for auction. Abraham kept some of his most favorite examples including many of the items listed. Most of the pieces have been in storage since the shop closed in 1976 and have not seen the light of day until now. We are told some items currently listed are also from the highly important Sir David Percival Chinese art collection. You will find one jade hair ornament listed with an original label from this collection and there are more examples also coming up. The Percival collection is considered one of the most important collections of Chinese art to exist. A large portion of this collection is presently on loan to the British museum. From what I have read during the fall of the Qing Empire Sir David Percival was in close contact with many imperial officials that controlled a vast amount of important imperial examples in the palace collection that he purchased from them at the time. The only history I have on this little 3 1/2" tall pitcher is that it was in my Grandma's china cabinet and then in my Mom's and then it got packed away for the last 15 years. It has no markings that I can find. It is handpainted fruit design. With 24Kt. gold handle and accents around the rim. There is a pear, a plume, and an apple. Warranted Bone China Pitcher Brown/White Transferware Marked Maker Unknown Mint
I believe that this is a older piece. More antique than vintage! It is marked, although I found the markings impossible to read, I actually gave myself a headache! What I was able to make out is: WARRANTED BONE CHINA? BROS&CO. What I do know, is that it is a extremely handsome pitcher, measures approximately 8 inches tall. Front and back are both covered with brown and white transferware scenes. Slight pedestal base and a beautiful handle and spout. There is a fair amount of gold detail and if I had to guess, I would say that this was English in origin.

Beautiful Hand Painted Victorian Style Bone China Antique Chocolate Pot Germany
You are bidding on a gorgeous and very delicate looking chocolate pot from an upscale CT estate. It is in excellent condition with no chips. Cracks or crazing in what I would call the Victorian style. It stands 9 1/2" tall and has an irridescent or luster finish. There is wear to the gold on the handle and the tip of the cover which, I think adds to its character. Would be a fantastic edition to any collection. Good Luck.
