I believe this to be Victorian and from Staffordshire/Stoke-on-Trent. It would have originally had a water bowl underneath, and quite possibly an entire'dressing' table set. There are 4 pitchers included: a matched pair. A large pitcher in blue, and a small pitcher with a pebbled finish. The matched pair of pitchers is decorated around the body with a band of creamy white and two green stripes. The thick band is set with a rose bouquet. The third pitcher has a blue band around the body with a brightly colored scene of a woman on a garden bench with a cat. The fourth pitcher is a small sized pitcher. This copper luster pitcher is covered with copper luster outside and inside. It is 8 1/2" tall and 7 1/2" wide. It dates around 1900 and is in really good condition. There are no chips or cracks. Only a few age spots. The panels are outlined in blue; fuchsia and green are used to decorate under the lip of the pitcher. It is a beautiful old pitcher, probably English though not marked.

Willets Manufacturing Company(Trenton. NJ) Pitcher Embossed Handle and Rim. Gold Trim, Blue and Green Pansies T his listing is for a very Victorian 1880s ironstone pitcher that I believe was made by Willets Manufacturing Company(of Trenton. NJ) It has the royal British mark, so I thought at first it was English, but it seems that the pottery companies in Trenton all liked to use that style English mark! The pitcher is elegantly shaped, with a squared handle that embraces the rim with an embossed design(much like similar pieces made by Adams) It is decorated with richly colored flowers(I believe pansies) on 3 sides. The pitcher measures 7.25 inches high at the spout, 5.5 inches wide from spout tip to handle end, and 3.25 inches wide across the foot. The pitcher is in good condition. There are no chips or cracks that I can see. But there is ... morea lot of overall crazing(it has not started to brown or darken) The floral design is intact on all three sides; the gold trim is solid on the body, but a bit worn around the rim. There are no fleabites or dings on the handle or spout. The pitcher has a blurred mark on the bottom for"Iron Stone China/ W.M.C. This is a beautiful"large" antique/vintage pitcher and bowl set with pansy flowers and leaves. I do not know the age/decade in which it was made. It is marked"Made in England" and has great colors. The pitcher measures 13.5 inches in height and 9.5 inches wide. The bowl measures 16.5 inches across and 5.5 inches in height. This set has some small crazing in areas and some paint wear around the rim of the bowl and one small bit on handle area. But no chips, cracks or discolorations. Just a gorgeous find that will show well and needs a home. This pitcher is decorated in a dazzling motif of brilliant copper colored lustre and a warm sky blue band. The blue band is decorated with a darling motif of a young boy and girl in the countryside. There is no mark. But the quality and craftsmanship are clearly English. We would date this to the 1830s-1840s. This pitcher is in fare condition. There is some very minor wear on the lustered portion. As would be expected, but there are also some chips to the rim, spout, and the design on one side. Also, the rim next to the handle has a short crack which is very difficult to see. Still, it is in very usable shape! This will make a great addition to your collection of copper lustreware!
