ANTIQUE 19th C.LG HEAVILY EMBOSSED BLUE & GRAY SALTGLAZED STONEWARE PITCHER
This is one of the most highly embossed and decorated stoneware pitchers I have ever seen. All the blue is under the glaze and the dark green is over painted. This piece measures 11 3/4" 29.8 cm) in height. 6 1/2" 16.5 cm) in diameter at the widest point, 4 1/2" 11.4 cm) in diameter at the bottom and 3 3/4(9.6 cm) in diameter at the top including the spout. There is no company mark, only the number"675" incised on the unglazed base and a hand scratched"4" The pitcher(or jug) is most likely German and the style of the decoration would date it to around the 1870s. Between each decorated band of designs there are horizontal beads and rope designs. 10 in all. Around the top there is a narrow band of"fleur-de-lis" designs. Below that is a band of eight winged cherub heads. The next wide band has four"Bows ... morewith drops" and four fruited swags that alternate over a horizontal incised background. On the body is a wide band that has eight oval"windows" with large winged angels displayed from the waist up. The base of each angel as open blue and green designs. 8" Vintage or Antique "Basketweave" Pitcher-Light Blue-Gray-Flowers
This vintage or antique pitcher is an unusual color of light blue-gray. Almost as if a thin gray glaze has been put on over blue, hard to capture properly on camera. It features a basketweave design. With a large flower within an oval area on each side and small flowers around the rim and base. It stands about 8" high and is about 7" across at its widest. Unfortunately this piece has several spots of damage. There are three different hairline cracks that are several inches long extending down from the top rim. Two are barely visible but one of them leads to some additional cracking at the rim. With a tiny chunk of material missing(see last photo) There is also a small area with a light brown color near the handle which would not wash off and a couple of spots with short grooves in the glazing that look as if they were there when ... moremade. Despite these flaws this unusual piece feels solid and is in no danger of cracking apart. Please take a moment to look at the other items in my eBay store!

Blue gray Whites Utica antique stoneware pitcher salt glaze 1800s NY grey
I have seen this pitcher attributed to Whites of Utica. Believe this size is considered a syrup pitcher. Stands about 6-5/8" tall. Base diameter is 3.5" Top is 2-3/8" diameter excluding spout. Handle extends 1.75" at the farthest. Weighs a little over one pound as it sits. I see no chips. Cracks or nicks. Spout thicker on one side than the other. Less than perfect glaze cover around the top. Probably needs a better cleaning. Feel free to email with any questions or for additional pictures. Thanks for looking! This unique vintage porcelain fish shaped jug has very fine details. An open mouth spout, and a handle formed from its tail on the opposite end. It measures approximately 6" long from handle to spout, by 2 3/4" at its widest points(side to side) by 3 1/2" at its tallest point. I am not sure of its maker, but it is a very unique piece nevertheless. It is in very good condition, and has no chips, cracks, or damage. Very unique piece for use or a collection!
