I believe that it portrays a lady on a garden bench with a small dog. This is a lovely antique copper luster(lustre) milk or cream pitcher from the late 1800's.found in a local estate sale and fresh to the market. Clean and simple lines and wonderful deep blue in the colored band. Pitcher is 3-1/2 inches tall and 4-1/2 inches from spout to handle. Mouth is 2-3/8 inches in diameter and base is 2-1/2 inches in diameter. Overall in very good condition.base shows wear and small white area that appears to be leftover from a sticky tag. Minor wear on the copper lustre floral pattern in one area on the blue band. Otherwise. No chips, cracks or other blemishes on this sweet little pitcher.

Hi. this pitcher stands 3" tall and is about 3.25" across. The little bowl or it might have been a tea cup. Is 2.1/8" tall and 3.25" across. There are places that the shine is gone but for as old they are- they really are in good condition! The little cream pitcher does have a chip on the spout lip. Hi. this pitcher stands 5.25" tall and is about 6.25" across. Needless to say-over the years it has lost some of it's lustre! There are places that the shine is gone but for as old as it is- I thought it was in pretty good condition. Until I looked at the bottom. It has been repaired. The bottom is not the original but has been covered in clay. I would say by the looks of the repair that it was broken when it wasn't very old. Given its ultra dazzling pure coppery solid shine glaze with a thick one inch lower body band in deep navy blue accented by a scroll of more coppery shine flowers borne on a vine all around. It has a pleasing shape with pear form bulbous lower body with an elegant neckline and petite handle with a small flange design. Please study the pictures as I laid it down to show you all angles and exposures. The pictures do not do the high shine any justice here. But it just glows all by itself, especially under a table lamp. The original purpose of the whole copper lustre idea was to ... morebrighten dark coal heated cottages with afforable ceramic tablewares for the period easily obtainable for the mass society of the time. Condition Report: There is a 1/4" light glaze chip to UNDER side of spout mouth only. It does not show on top inner surface. There is a wavy inclusion that has overglaze on rim near handle that is in-the-making manufacture flaw. not an after damage; I just point this out to be picky. The base, handle, body are all fine and sound with no damage. High Bidder acknowledges acceptance of one tiny spout flaw when placing a bid. Pitcher measures 3 3/4" tall and round base it sits on is 2" across. It is light enough at 8 ounces to qualify for First Class shipping if mailed in a small box by itself. ANTIQUE PITCHER AND WASH BOWL HUGE! BAND OF PINK ROSES/BLUE BAND/ GOLD TRIM
This is a very large pitcher and bowl that my late mother bought in an Antique store in Jackman. Maine close to 50 years ago in 1967. They were old when purchased. The markings on the bottom of both the pitcher and bowl show only a number 2163 on both. Since 1967 it has literally sat on a cherry washstand in a master bedroom. It has no chips. There is a slight discoloration mark under the lip of the bowl which I took a picture of. This does not show when displayed. These pieces were old when purchased but the gold banding and pink roses with blue band looks great. These pieces look great. Usual crazing due to age of pieces. Shows wonderfully. Feel free to ask questions. I'm not an expert in describing these pieces. The pitcher measures 15" across and is 5" high.
