Vintage Langley Lovatt Ware Red Pottery Pitcher ~ Arts & Crafts
This special 5" tall red pottery pitcher is an enigma to me. I have had it for years but have not been able to find any information on it. It is a great piece and would appear to be very"arts and crafts" made in England. Note stamps and marks on the bottom. Wording that I can make out ~ Lovatt's Langley Ware England W and then some impressed marks that I can't make out. There is a very. Very slight, tight hairline that runs from wording on the base to the base of the handle. I have to look and look again to find it. Unfortunately, I can't get a photo that shows this hairline. You really can't see it. I hope someone knows about this great little piece! Let me know!

Here is a Beautiful Antique. Hand Made, Hand Painted Pitcher. The Flowing Blue lines are part of the original glaze. The glaze on this pitcher feels so soft it's like holding velvet. WOW! From 1900-1930? 9 1/2" long handle to spout x 7" wide x 7 1/2" tall to handle. The spout opening is so big that a soup can will fit inside. Holds 8 cups or 64 oz. that's a great size for a pitcher. SMALL VINTAGE ARTS& CRAFTS PITCHER w BEAUTIFUL COLOR& GLAZE Beautiful little pitcher. Nice color. Measures 6 inches tall. Probably McCoy or Weller? Nice and heavy construction. Weighs almost 2 lbs before packing. A couple of hairline cracks on the very bottom and one small skip in the glaze by the bottom edge. Otherwise very good with no chips or other cracks. The hairline cracks on the bottom(see photo) do not show on the inside bottom. Probably from the firing. This beautiful pitcher is still useable.
