Darling squat pitcher. Probably from the 1920's-30's when women would take porcelain blanks and create personal masterpieces for their home. This pitcher measures about 4 1/4" high at it's highest point. It measures 6" from handle to spout and a whopping 16" around it's"belly" It is decorated on both sides with violets in shades of purple and lilac along with green leaves. It is signed twice, one on the front of the pitcher"E. WALKER" appears and again on the bottom of the pitcher where she has added the words"Hand Painted" by E Walker. The top of the pitcher is trimmed in gold. I am not seeing any crazing or chips. Here we have a beautiful Antique Royal Vienna Ewer Vase. This is a portrait Vase that is signed on the side of the portrait by the artist T. Muller. The vase is hand painted and has a wonderful Burgandy luster with heavy gold trim. Marked on the bottom with the underglaze blue beehive mark. The vase measures 7 1/4" tall by 3 3/4" across. There is a crack to one side of the spout at the top. It has to be looked to be seen on the top. Underneath it is easier to see the crack. A good restoration could fix it invisibly. The rest of the vase is pristine and have not chips. Cracks nor restorations. The paint has very little wear. Please check out our 12 pictures for more visual condition discription. D & C France Bavaria Artist Signed Porcelain Pitcher Six Orange Cups w/ 'Teeth'
Unique square pitcher and six orange cups. Pitcher: orange. Yellow, gold, black with gold handle. The pitcher is marked D& C France with a stamped S and author signed. No cracks, crazing. A couple of chips in the bottom ring from shelf wear. Cannot see from the top; only if turned over. There is also a sticker on the bottom. 11" tall 4 3/4" wide at base. The six orange cups each have three'teeth' inside that were used to hold the half orange inside. All cups are marked Bavaria and two are author signed. No cracks or crazing. The bottom of some of the cups show some shelf wear. 3" tall 3 1/4" diameter I am unsure of the time period, but this set has been in my Grandmother's collection since the 1950s or 60s. We are very pleased to offer this spectacular. Large Limoges Pitcher and(4) cup set for sale. The dramatically shaded background blends gray, purple, green, brown, and a sienna rust color to make the grapes and foliage truly"pop" The pitcher is 4 inches across at the rim and stands 9.5" inches tall. The gilded gold rim and trim accent the handle and spout. The grapes are so realistically painted that you can see each grape as it clusters together. The same attention to detail is lavished on each of the leaves. The colors range from the deepest green, through khaki, brown, and even purple. The veining of each leaf and the tendrils at the end of each stem add further depth to the exquisite artwork of Mrs. Levey. The Cups stand 4 inches tall and measure 3 inches across. As previously mentioned. The Pitcher is Artist Signed"LEVEY" ... moreand T&V Limoges. The artwork on the cups is identical to the pitcher. The pitcher bears the T&V, LIMOGES FRANCE underglaze factory mark 7 in green, dating the piece to 1892-1910, with a"3" stamped. Other than the typical manufacturing"pops" in the glaze and the moderate wear to the gilding as pictured. There are no chips, cracks, spiders or damages of any kind to the pitcher. Being offered is this fabulous antique pitcher measuring app.11” tall with gold gild trim. Decorated with a woman portrait and signed by famed Limoges Artist E. Furlaud. Pitcher is in very good condition for age with light loss to the gold gild trim and exhibiting some wear to the portrait. Mainly to the hat brim as shown in my photos. The pitcher is free from cracks or chips but has what I would describe as ultra-fine black straw lines in the portrait area that can be seen in photos, with a magnifier or upon close inspection and scrutiny, otherwise hardly noticeable and not easily detected and does not detract from the piece when displayed. For your consideration. A tapered, large Limoges Cider Pitcher. The pitcher has cherries or apples and leaves beautifully hand painted in shades of red, orange, green and yellow. The top rim is trimmed with a wide band of gold. Hand signed by Artist A.Z. Smith and dated 1907. It measures 9" from spout to handle, 6" high, and tapers down to a 7" diameter at the base. The mark on the base indicates that this piece was produced by the William Guerin Company of Limoges, France between 1900 and 1932. I have for you this evening a very beautiful example of porcelain was fired at the kilns of William Guerin in Limoges France in the late 19th century. This set is made of the finest grade porcelain and has been cast into a unique mold design. This set has been hand painted"artist signature looks to say Williams but unsure" with pinecones in several stages of maturity and color. The handle and rim have been gold gilt. This piece is in amazing and nearly untouched condition. This piece will make a truly unique and amazing addition to your collection as well as displaying beautifully no matter the setting.
