Manufactured by Villeroy& Boch between 1874- 1909. The pitcher measures 11" at the highest and 9.5" from spout to handle. There are no chips. There is a tight hairline at the spout. Showing the exterior(5th photo) and interior(6th photo) There are also small spider cracks to the interior, which don't penetrate through the exterior and can't be seen unless you look inside. The pitcher doesn't leak. There is clean crazing throughout. Which is normal due to age. None affect the integrity of the pitcher. This auction is for a Lovely 6-Piece Antique Victorian Semi-Porcelain Pitcher and Washbowl Chamber set made by Dresden Pottery Works of Ohio in the late 1800s or early 1900s. The set is Beautifully designed with a molded or raised floral design and is painted in a soft sky blue with gold accents against a white semi-porcelain background. The set Displays Wonderfully with its pastel colors and will instantly become the decorative focal point of any room. The set consists of: A Wash Bowl or Basin. 15 1/2 inches across. A Large Pitcher. 11 inches tall. A Matching Smaller Pitcher. 7 1/2 inches tall. A covered soap dish. A handled cup. A Vase or toothbrush holder. Each piece has the Dresden globe mark. Dresden Pottery Works operated in East Liverpool. Ohio in the late 1800s and early 1900s. The set is in very good condition especially for its ... moreage. Type a title for your page here) Beautiful and elegant! This can only describe this Richard Klemm Dresden. Germany Porcelain floral pitcher/ewer, circa 1900. Up for bidding is a Pitcher/Ewer that measures approximately 14 inches from the top of the handle to the bottom and is approximately 8 inches wide. It is white and a creamy yellow with multicolor floral. Vines, and butterfly decorations. There is a dimensional grouping on the front of three porcelain flowers, one edged in blue, one in pink, and one in lavender. Also, there are two pink buds and leaves. The pitcher has stunning gold highlights and detail throughout, as well as along the rim, handle and bottom. The marking on the bottom is in gold- it is a crown with"RK" underneath and Dresden Germany- please refer to the photograph. There are a few condition issues which I have ... moretried to document in the photographs. All are on the grouping of flowers on the front of the pitcher. There are a couple of chips on the blue flower. A two small chips on the pink flower, and a piece of a leaf missing. There are no cracks, crazing or visable signs of wear. Information on Richard Klemm: He founded a porcelain decorating studio in Striesen. Germany in 1869. The decorating style of Richard Klemm closely matched that of the Meissen factories at that time. He often used a heavily applied style that focused on florals. In many instances, the porcelain pieces of Richard Klemm are emblazoned with a gold leaf at the base. Lovely Dresden china pitcher is 11" high by 9 1/2" wide(from spout to handle) Opening is roughly 4" x 4" wide. No chips or cracks! The colors are wonderful featuring a wide magenta colored band at top. And pink and blue trumpet flowers on front with leaves and shadow leaves. Back design mimics front but in simpler motif. The gold banding is totally intact, as are the gold accent details on the handle. For those not familiar with T.P.C. Company here is a brief overview: T.P.C. Victorian handled ice water pitcher with ice guard. From a Denver estate and probably circa 1900- 1920. White and rose pink"body" embellished with metallic gold trim. No chips or cracks. The gold trim is worn in the usual places for an item of this age. I would say that this pitcher was probably used frequently but cleaned and dried each time. There is no residue in the bottom and a family member said that it was always used for ice water. Ice guard keeps ice from spilling into glasses and thumb ridge on handle helps to maintain a steady pouring hand. Ice Water" writing on each side in Old English font. Antique Wash Bowl& Pitcher The bowl is marked Dresden. The bowl is approx 15 3/4" in diameter& approx 5" tall Pitcher is marked with An eagle with a branch in his claws in the center of the circle. Semi-Vitreous Porcelain written around the circle. K.T& K Co. underlined written under Knowles T& Knowles Co The pitcher is approx 12" at the tallest point The pitcher is approx 9 1/2" wide These pieces match really well but they are not the same brand. There is some crazing. The bottom inside of the bowl is scratched from use. There is a crack that shows on on the front side and back side. The crack is approx 3" These pieces were my grandmothers who was born in 1901& she said they belonged to her mother so I'm not sure how old this set is.

It seems to be in very good condition except the handle looks like it has lost some glue or how ever they attached handles back in the day. It may have a small split on the edge also. It functions and looks fine. It stands about 12" at the highest point and is about 10.5" across the handle to spout. I have a large bowl that I will be selling also. This stunning antique"Dresden" patterned flow blue water pitcher was made by the Humphrey Brothers in the late 1800's in England. It is the perfect size to hold a large bouquet of flowers and place right in the middle of your table. This pitcher measures 11" high and 10 1/2" wide. The condition is very good. It does have light crazing over much of the pitcher that can be seen up close. There is a small hole in the gilded stripe on the foot of the pitcher that appears to have been made at the time of manufacturing as the"bisque" goes inward like it would if it were soft. The Dresden Pottery was located in East Liverpool Ohio. This Dresden China pitcher has a design of white roses on the front with a pale hints of pastel pink and blue around. This shabby pitcher has seen a lot of use. The gold trim on the rim is worn off in places. There is a crack with age discoloration on one side at the top. Where the handle attaches to the pitcher is cracked on the inside. Looks like a manufacturing defect. There is a lot of crazing inside and out. Due to the age and condition.
