It measures approximately 6 and 1/2 from spout to handle, and about 11 and 3/4 from bottom to spout. Antique, 1884, Large Pitcher, Stratford H. Alcock & Co. Cobridge England
This antique pitcher is 9 inches tall and almost 9 inches wide. It is marked Statford H Alcock& Co. Cobridge, England. Patent February 12, 1884, Being an old used antique, it is not perfect, but almost. It has a small chip on the bottom edge and a brown crack that shows on the front and the inside. It holds 11 cups of water and does not leak. There is crazing on the inside bottom and some on the top of the outside that does not stand out. In other words, it is not a visual distraction. Antique Ewer by Sam Alcock & Co. 'Naomi and Her Daughters In Law'
Up for Auction or choose the Buy It Now option: This antique. Lavender and white, parian ewer(pitcher) was made by Sam Alcock& Co. Staffordshire, England, in 1847. It depicts the biblical story of Naomi and Her Daughters-In-Law on each side of ewer/pitcher. It has a nicely scalloped base and a beautifully designed white handle circling the top of the ewer. It measures 7.5 inches high(19 cm. with a 4 inch(10 cm) base diameter. It has been chipped at the top of the rim and repaired. The pieces were glued back together and then glued back into place on the ewer. It's not glued perfectly, but it's all there. There are also some finger prints smudged onto the ewer in super glue, around the area that was repaired, due to the repair. Antique Vintage Henry Alcock & Co White Parisian Porcelain Pitcher Ewer
Offered for sale is a small white pitcher by Henry Alcock& Co. I beleive it's called a milk pitcher. It is simply elegant and would look beautiful with a bouquet of flowers. It measures about 7” inches tall and about 6 1/4” across from spout to handle. The maker's mark on the bottom reads: Parisian Porcelain Henry Alcock& Co. England. This dates the piece between 1861 and 1910. The piece shows normal wear for one its age. There is a tiny chip(~1/8" on the spout and some tiny glaze pops. Please view all of the photos.
