1800s Antique Pitcher Parian Porcelain lavender w/ornate white cameo relief
This stunningly beautiful. Antique Parian ware(bisque porcelain) pitcher has a lavender base color, with ornate, raised, white cameo-like designs on its outside surface. The design motifs are classical, and the style resembles Wedgwood's“jasperware” or early Copeland pieces, though the pitcher up for auction, here, has a gloss glaze, as opposed to a matte finish. The pitcher is unmarked, and though I have done some research, I have not been able to determine its maker. The pitcher's condition is remarkable. With no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. The only flaws, which are minor, occurred at the factory when the then liquified Parian porcelain was cast in the mold, and when the white, raised designs were applied, as one can see some tiny hairline breaks that have been glazed over. The pitcher measures about 8 ¼ inches tall ... morefrom its base to its highest point, which is on the handle, about 5 ½ inches across the opening from the handle to the end of the spout, and it has just under a 4 inch diameter across the footed base. This pitcher is exquisite, in color, design and condition. Please pay within 3 days after the auction has ended. And I will get your item to you as soon as possible. I do not accept returns, so to spare us any complications, please contact me if you have any questions, as I may have missed something that is important to you. Antique Porcelain Pitcher & Accessories K.T.&K.Co. Semi-Vitreous Porcelain 1800s

This auction is for a antique pitcher with matching accessories. All the pieces have a scroll relief pattern and flower transfer motif with gold trim. They have a chrysanthemum floral transfer pattern. The pitcher was designed for and used with a wash basin in the late 1800s. The pitcher and accessories are marked with an eagle with a branch in its claws and the wording"Semi-Vitreous Porcelain" and"K.T.K. Co. which is the symbol for the The Knowles Taylor& Knowles China Co. The company operated from the 1853 to 1931 in East Liverpool, Ohio. The company was founded by Isaac Watts Knowles and in 1881 the K.T.K. Co. was the largest pottery factory in America(http:www.kknfa.ort/knowles_Issac_Watts_1819.htm) ... moreThe pitcher stands 13 inches tall and is 8" across the bowl of the pitcher with a 24 inch circumference around the widest part. The smaller piece in the set(not sure what to call it- cup or vase) has the same markings as the pitcher is approximately 5 inches tall and 4 inches wide. The covered dish, again with the same factory markings as the pitcher is 6 inches in diameter and 2 inches tall. The only crazing I see on any of these pieces is on the bottom of the small cup/vase. Which also has a large chip on its top edge. The pitcher has no crazing, chips or cracks. The covered dish has some discoloring on the inside, but no crazing, chips or scratches. This set was given to my mother by a dear old friend by the name of Ruth Stanfield who passed away 20 years ago at the age of 92. She told me she remembered using the pitcher with a wash basin in her home when she was a little girl. It was passed down to her by her mother. These pieces are well over a century old and are in amazing condition. This is a beautiful set for the collector to enhance your home with authentic antique pieces. I ship for actual cost of United States Post Office(USPS) postage

1800s 19th Century Antique Majolica Pitcher Floral - Dogwood Blossoms and Branch
Here is a wonderful piece of very old majolica. I know very alittle about it except I picked it up at an estate sale. The posessions were of a 93 yr old woman. Even in its present condition it was obviously cherished. The pitcher a crack from the rim tracing down towars the hanlde. The item is very stable and I've picked it up by the handle many times to ensure it's stability. There is also a chip along the rim(see picture) that is also very old. There are some places missinging glaze; however. I believe this is original to the item and not damage- you be the judge. It measure 6 1/2" in height and is 3 3/4" in diameter at the rim. The handle itself is 4" in height. There are no manufacturer marking on the bottom. I'm not well versed in Majolica so please feel free to contact me if you have any questions and. Pretty antique mid 1800s copper luster pitcher with transfer prints
We are listing this attractive copper lustre pitcher which is decorated with bucolic transfer prints on each side and additional hand painted designs. The jug is 4.5 inches tall. Almost 6 inches at its widest point, and unmarked(like virtually all copper luster pieces) The jug displays exceptionally well, but there are some rubbed spots on the prints, and there is a hairline(both inside and out) beside the spout which goes about half way down the front of the jug. The minor flaws do not really detract from the appearance of this item, but see the close up pictures for details. We can currently only accept bids on this from the United States. Blue gray Whites Utica antique stoneware pitcher salt glaze 1800s NY grey
I have seen this pitcher attributed to Whites of Utica. Believe this size is considered a syrup pitcher. Stands about 6-5/8" tall. Base diameter is 3.5" Top is 2-3/8" diameter excluding spout. Handle extends 1.75" at the farthest. Weighs a little over one pound as it sits. I see no chips. Cracks or nicks. Spout thicker on one side than the other. Less than perfect glaze cover around the top. Probably needs a better cleaning. Feel free to email with any questions or for additional pictures. Thanks for looking! PLEASE wait to pay until you receive an invoice. This will enable me to pack the item and give you an accurate shipping charge. Antique Black Stoneware Pitcher Primitive Pottery Big Utility Ware 1800s Ceramic
Old Pitcher I found myself so drawn to the beautiful simplicity of of this old pitcher. I just had to get it. This lovely pitcher has a black glaze, which is quite hard to come by. Along the recessed rings, the glaze has a rusty brown appearance. The condition is quite nice considering its age and functional purpose. There are some areas along the rim that have slight flaking that blend in well since they have darkened substantially over time. This has a nice solid feel and weighs in right at five pounds. The handle is well crafted. Oh, the stories this old pitcher could tell. This displays beautifully on its own or would be great for use with floral arrangements. This measures approximately 8.5" tall and 5.25" in diameter across the upper rim. Take a look at the photos provided and let me know if you have any questions.
