Vintage Antique Wood Swing Swivel Tilt Picture Frame Art Deco
Very detailed swivel picture frame. Opening is just a little less than 8 x 12(just shy on both height and width) This is more ornate than most other antique frames that I have seen. But still has the art deco look. It's in great condition, but I can't tell if it's actually old or possibly a reproduction. The back looks like it had paper covering it but it has been removed to change out the picture and cardboard nailed in to keep picture secure and tight against glass. Beautiful frame!

This is a vintage or antique freestanding wood picture frame. Recently purchased at an estate sale. I am unsure of it's age. It measures 10 1/2" tall and 11 1/2" across at the bottom. It holds a picture measuring 6" X 8" The frame swivels or tilts and it is decorated with a raised floral pattern. There is some paint loss and there is a chip in the glass on a bottom corner. The color of the frame appears to be a greenish gold color and it does appear to be the original paint on it too. There is some paint that is peeling or has chipped off. But actually not too bad after all these years. There is some very Tiny hairline cracks here and there. Some it appears to be the top layer of just only the paint, and some is in the wood. But this is to be expected over time though. Beautiful details throughout. This item is still in great shape. I don't know whom made this. I found no maker's mark. The wooden parameters are 12 1/2 inches tall by 12 inches wide(at the base) The glass/photo dimensions are 9 inches tall by 7 1/4 inches wide. The frame's condition is Very Good for a 90-year-old item: I'm seeing one small paint chip on each of the"sticks" on the sides, two small and one 3/4-inch-long chip on the front of the base, and three medium paint chips and a bit of paint wear on the back of the base. This frame has the nifty feature and superb balance of being tilted upside down so"Mister Jones" is forced to look outside the window from an upside-down perspective(as positioned in the second-to-last photo) This happens from time to time when my son or I get tired of him staring at us eating our Fruit Loops, which often causes us to quietly hum to ourselves Me and Mister Jones. Vintage Antique Wood Swing Swivel Tilt Picture Frames Art Deco
Antique Vintage Wood Swing Picture Frame. With original glass and mat. Frame and stand is sturdy and frame swivels easy. It is painted in Gold and has a felt bottom. Some of the paint is off(see pictures) and showing a nice pink patina under it. Very pretty Carved design around the frame and side posts. It measures about high 9 1/2 tall" x 10" wide.
