Vintage NUIT DE NOEL Caron Perfume Black glass. This is an unopened black glass Caron Nuit de Noel perfume bottle that measures approx. 2 ¾” tall in a 3” high original spotted green box. No tassel or wire seal on the neck but the original wax around the neck in still in place. The ½ ounce bottle is full of the original perfume. The black glass stopper is frozen or sealed. Since this is a vintage bottle. We didn't want to try to open it. Although we never opened the stopper. You can still get a whiff of the perfume by placing your nose close to the stopper. In fact. Even the box still carries the scent and we’ve owned the bottle for thirty years. Original labels inside the box lid and on the bottle. Earlier“Made in France” bottle& box. No chip. Crack or other damage to the bottle. The green paper covered cardboard container- ... morehas several slight scrapes on the paper, consistent with its 60 year vintage. Vintage Nuit De Noel Caron, Sealed, 2 Oz. Sleek Black Baccarat Bottle, Stunning
You are viewing a wire-sealed. 2-ounce bottle of the famous Caron"Nuit De Noel" fragrance. The black, sleek Baccarat bottle is absolutely stunning and measures 4-1/4" from the bottom to the tip of the faceted black top. It measures 2-1/2 inches across the front of the bottle. There is one very small etch mark(about 1/8" long) on the bottom of the bottle, however, there is no other identification that can be detected, even viewing it with a jeweler's loop. The famous Caron tassel is securely affixed to the bottom of the lovely green box that resembles a small clutch-like purse. The inside of the box lid reads, CARON 10 rue de la Paix Paris FRANCE. There are a couple of light smudges just inside the lid along the right side(see photo) The overall condition of the box is excellent, with the exception of two very small ... moreareas where the adhered green pebble-design paper has lifted, maybe from being rubbed(front left along thin, gold line and left side bottom along thin, gold line) This doesn't detract from the beauty of the box. It truly is in wonderful condition. This gorgeous fragrance and presentation box belonged to my mother who was born in 1910. I do not know the exact age of this item. But believe it to be from a 1920- 1940's era. I don't believe it was ever used, as evidenced by the gold wire closure around the neck and stopper. The bottle definitely feels full. It shows a faceted boule cap on the black bottle. With a metal decrative band. It is with a box in green shagreen design. This was designed for the French parfum Nuit de Noel by Caron. It has the silver band. In very nice condition, with some etch marks on the bottom of the black glass bottle that I cannot make out. It is probably a Baccarat number. The stopper is tight, and I have not tried to remove it. The box show bits of wear, but has kept the bottle in very clean unworn condition. This is the smaller bottle and box.
