This is a darling little miniature perfume bottle that is green glass. There are not any markings. But it appears to be Czech glass that has a quilted, marbelized look. It has a basket of flowers that are old brass or bronze with rhinestones set in it. It does have the glass dauber. The brass lid has a hammered Rose with a rhinestone in the top and little Roses all around it. This is in excellent condition- no loose dauber, no chips or cracks. The is definitely early 1900's. Rare Pair Cathedral top Czech Miniature Filigree perfume bottles
Lovely pair of vintage miniature Art Deco Czech filigree overlay perfume bottles with gold tone cathedral style tops with glass wands. The silver tone metallic overlay is in good shape. The bulbous shaped bottle has horizontal ribbed glass underneath overlay and the cubed shaped bottle has vertical patterned ridges beneath overlay. The cathedral tops are slightly different in design and echo the Deco trend found in architecture of the day. A couple of areas where minute fragments of metal overlay are missing. Consistent with age however, not noticeable. Acquired at a south Georgia estate sale over 34 years ago. Ready to let them go. Carefully preserved. CZECH ART DECO JEWELED MINIATURE MINI PERFUME BOTTLE BRASS FILIGREE LAPIS 1920's
For your consideration. I have an antique Art Deco c. 1920's Czech miniature perfume bottle. The bottle is wrapped in a fancy brass filigree cage which is accented with enamel and 6 blue faux lapis cabochons(4 on front and 2 on the shoulder) Centered with a faux lapis stone in a diamond shaped bezel. The cap is adorned with an opaque blue glass domed cabochon. All stones are present. Intact and original with no replacements. The filigree has darkened due to oxidation. More so in some areas than others. The screw-on cap has darkening as well at the neck from contact with perfume, but there is no actual green corrosion and it's no where near as bad as some I've seen. It bears the Czechoslovakia tab on the collar. The bottle is empty of perfume but still retains a faint smell of a lovely scent. The glass itself is clear with no cloudiness ... moreon the interior. The glass could use a little cleaning on the exterior. There is a slight loss of the off-white enamel on the leaf accents. Please note: The glass dauber has broken off. These can easily be replaced. Dimensions are: 2 ¼“ tall x 1 ½“ wide. For an item just shy of 100 years old I think it's in quite good shape. But not excellent. Despite the flaws I mentioned, this displays very well and would make a great addition to your collection.
