Antique Cut Glass Sterling Top Perfume Bottle with red stone center
8 photos posted. Pretty antique lay down(or stand up) perfume bottle. The glass vial is cut in a rib pattern bordered by a cross hatch design at the bottom and the top. The glass is in excellent antique condition showing only a faint trace of fogging and a tiny nibble on one of the ribs. On a scale of 0 to 10 I'd give it a 9.5 The flip top is marked sterling under the hinge which is in perfect shape. The cap snaps on tightly. It has an octogon shape and a red pointy stone in the center. I assume it is glass. The point is still intact. No chip there. But the inside stopper is lost. The sterling is quite heavy, so there are no dents. It is monogrammed with the initials dM.L. Dimensions: 3 3/8" long and almost 3/4" across. The item comes from a smoke-free home but I have a cat. Up for auction is this lovely etched crystal mini perfume bottle with a sterling silver cap. It has the stopper and some sort of cotton in the top. The hinge is in excellent condition. It is 2 3/4" high(with the top) and approximately 3/4" in diameter. It also has a little hook/attachment which is right under the hinge. The bottle is in very good condition. The stopper fits snugly Marked Sterling 925 Fine with a hall mark. I do not know the hallmark. Winning bidder to pay $4.50 for shipping. London, 1909 This beautiful perfume bottle is a fine example of the cameo glass produced by Thomas Webb and Sons in England in the 19th and 20th century. The rounded red body is decorated with finely carved clusters of apple blossoms on branches with leaves. The deep red appears to glow from the inside and provides a beautiful contrast to the opaque white floral decoration. The simple round lid is sterling silver and monogrammed in script with the letters"TMF" ... moreThe lid tapers down to a rounded silver band that fits over the threaded silver mount around the neck of the bottle. The stopper is no longer present. However, the lid works perfectly and the bottle closes securely. Thomas Webb began manufacturing art glass in England in 1837. The firm exhibited their cameo glass at the Paris Exhibition with Tiffany's in 1899 and took the Grand Prize. This exquisite bottle would make a wonderful addition to either a collection of fine art glass or to a collection of perfume bottles. Marked: Hallmarked on the silver band for London. 1909, with the makers' mark for Finnigan's who began production in Manchester in 1875 but opened offices in London in 1903. The bottle has no cracks or chips and has ornate detail top to bottom. It stands 6 1/4" tall and the stopper itself is 1 3/4" long by itself. The stopper has patina from age that I did NOT remove or polish to leave it for the buyer to do as they wish. Here is a cute estate sale find. It is an antique miniature perfume bottle with a sterling silver top. It measures 2 inches tall and 1 inch across bottom. It is marked with a Hallmark and the word Sterling and The numbers S2276 on the bottom of the lid. As you can see in the pictures the top is loose and needs to be re-glued. It is in good condition except for some very minor flakes on bottom edge. It is in as is found condition. It needs cleaning and polishing. I will leave that up to you. Six Antique Crystal Cut Glass Perfume Scent Bottle Sterling Silver Top Hinged Up for your consideration we have 6 beautiful glass or cut crystal perfume or scent bottles. 5 with hinged tops and one with a screw on top that has an attached glass dipping stick, visible in photo 7. The photos below will be doing most of the explaining for these pieces as they are photos of the exact pieces you will receive. All in all, none of the crystal bodies have any major damage, just a very few fleabites on the bottle with a ball top. I have included photos of all mouths of the bottles to show the condition of the stoppers, if any. I will list the condition of the stoppers by the bottles photo numbers. The bottle in photo 5 has a stopper that is in good condition with a small fleck on it. The bottle in photo 6 has a stopper with two chips and it will not ... morecome loose. HAWKES Signed Perfume Bottle Enamel & Sterling Top with Long Dauber Gorgeous
This perfume bottle is signed on the bottom HAWKES who was the founder of Stueben glass. It stands about 5 1/2" tall and the long dauber is intact. The top has a blue enamel with pink roses and cherubic figures inside the center with musical instruments going around them. There is a mark on the silver and I will add the markings if I can get someone to make them out for me. The glass bottom has flowers and lines with flowers and etching. We are pleased to offer this rare antique original French signed Daum Nancy cameo glass perfume scent bottle travel decanter. It has a hinged. Sterling silver, attached top and the original acid etched crystal stopper. This is an estate fresh piece and we have not attempted to clean or polish it. It features a river valley scene with conifers. Perhaps an early spring scene. It also has beautiful Lily of the Valley flowers on the sides of the bottle. There is a dripping icicle design all along the top. Rim of the bottle and this is repeated along the top of the original stopper. Further emphasizing the early spring motif. There are 2 small French hallmarks on the sides of the sterling silver top; I can make out one which is a helmeted head in profile. The top has a vermeil gold wash on the inside. On the top of the closure is a young maiden ... moreand a floral design. The bottom of the bottle is signed in gold enamel Daum Nancy( France) along with the Cross of Lorraine. There is a small amount of loss to the decorative gold gild on the bottle and the stopper. There are no cracks or other major damage. The silver top is tight on the bottle. A beautiful small perfume bottle of clear glass cut in a cane pattern and the top and the cap in sterling silver. Marked sterling and 925. Approximately 2 and 3/8 inches to top of cap. There are no markings of any company and for that matter any country although given it's age anything from Europe or England should be marked. Please ask any questions before you bid. The same with picture requests. I had to use a magnifying glass to read the sterling and 925 so it's a pretty good bet I won't be able to get it with the camera. There is a fourteen day return privilege but unless there is a gross error in the description, the buyer is responsible for paying return shipping.

Up for auction from my grandmother's estate is a very beautiful. Cut glass crystal clear perfume bottle with a Sterling Silver screw on dome shaped top. There are no chips or cracks in the glass and the crystal is shiny and clear(no cloudiness or wear whatsoever to the glass) The sterling top could be polished, but I did not polish as I liked the antique look to it. The screw dome top has a very small slit where it screws on to the bottle, but I tested it out and it does not leak with water in it. It is so small that you cannot even see it when the cap is on and it also screws on with ease and no damage to the sterling rim of the bottle. This perfume bottle measures 5 1/2 inches from the top of the dome lid to the bottom. I do not polish silver before selling it because some buyers are very picky about how their antique silver is cleaned. The glass has a few rough edges that can be felt when running your fingernail along the ridges. I could find no other markings on the bottle. Small evidence of wear and use and not recently polished, Stopper is missing, otherwise is in very good condition. English Assay Hall marks are: C.M. in rectangle: Maker name not found) Anchor for Birmingham, Date letter: p' in lozenge shape for date(1864) and Lion passant- rampant for English sterling silver mark. Silver weight not determinable. The crystal glass base is hand cut all over with small octagonal'hobnails' and star forms. Under the base is a hand cut star burst. NB: Small chip on edge of base. Antique unsigned 3 1/2" tall mold blown clear glass perfume bottle. Screw top marked"Sterling" Generally good condition, no chips or cracks; a few small dents on the sterling top.

English 'smelling salts' bottle with sterling silver top and crystal glass base
English'smelling salts' purse' bottle. With sterling silver top and hand cut crystal glass base. No stopper. No monogram.Approximately 3 1/2" tall and 1 1/8" in diameter. Assay Hall punch marks are: J.H.W-possibly: John Henry Wynn. Lower case: f' for date letter: 1905. Anchor for Birmingham Assay Hall and lion rampant-passant for sterling silver. Silver content not determined. Silver top is hand-chased with curlicues and what appears to be a'whimsical' animal with tail. Below on sides are swirls in asymmetrical art nouveau design form. Base is crystal glass, hand cut all over with octagonal'hobnails' and star and X patterns. Ground off flat on underside. Silver not recently polished. Good condition for age and use.

1923 Intricately Cut Crystal Perfume Bottle with Sterling Top
This is a one-of-a-kind. Crystal-cut, antique, perfume bottle. The intricate, artistic detail and design are not to be equaled. The sterling top and stopper are in superb condition. The bottle has two teeny nicks that are difficult to detect-please see close-up of the last photo above. This piece has been cherished and well-taken care for over 90 years. It is ten inches tall. With stopper in place, and 5.5 inches around the widest part of the bottle, in the middle.

A very stylish Original Antique Crystal Scent Perfume Bottle with Ornate sterling silver hinged lid. Pretty cut glass design. On the collar the hallmarks are the ENGLISH HALLMARK of LION. Backwards looking Y dates it as 1898, the sideways anchor is Birmingham Hallmark. The S is perhaps a Journeymens mark, the far left makers mark is less pronounced, the first letter resembles an S. We are convinced that it's the mark of S Blanckensee& Sons Ltd. The hinge top secures nicely. The top is magnificently embossed, there are some dings on the top. There is no glass stopper. Vintage Sterling Top Cut Crystal Perfume Bottle Stopper. England 2000. Beautiful
This beautiful perfume bottle has a cit crystal cut round body with sunburst design. The bottom of the sterling neck is fully hallmarked with the sterling lion. And the Chest. The sterling has a small dent in the top left side(no scratch) this does not detract from the beauty of the charm of this antique bottle! I have lightly polished but this item has not been professionaly cleaned. Glass stopper is in perfect condition. The crystal bottle is in excellent vintage condition. The bottle stand approx 5" tall to top of domed lid. A STRIKING PERFUM BOTTLE! Collectors Item!

It is cut crystal with a Sterling lid. Larger size is 6" tall. 2-1/2" across the center. In remarkable condition for a glass item 120+ years old! No chips, no cracks, no fleabites. Only the lid that still retains the cork insert shows any age, it is a tad askew and has a very small bump in the center of the top- nothing more than should be expected. Opens and shuts just fine.
