Criss-Cut Pyramid Perfume This is a good-looking vintage perfume bottle. Likely from Czechoslovakia around the 1920s-30s. It is clear glass bottle with heavily faceted cut base and simpler stopper. The stopper is a bit loose-fitting and a may be a replacement. The base is pyramidal and faceted with an intricate criss-cross pattern. There are no maker's marks that I can find. The bottle does have significant chipping around the various points of the base. Still, it is a pretty piece with plenty of appeal. Two 1920's Art Deco Heinrich Hoffman frosted Perfume Bottle Czech Bohemian Glass
These two exquisite perfume bottles are Hoffman unsigned. I bought them from A high end antique shop in calif. over 35 years ago. I paid 800.00.apiece for each. They are unsigned but clearly Hoffman, Very rare both daubers are perfect A tiny bit of flaws not visible by human eye. Tiny ticks on bottom and middle roses and Pictures taken are with macro zoom cameras to show any condition issue. They measure aprox. 5 inches tall, from top to bottom,From top of dauber to end aprox. 4 1/2 in. long They are truly beautiful and in great condition for there age and having perfect daubers does make them a truly rare bottle, especially as a pair. Czech/Bohemian glassware became as prestigious as jewelry and was sought-after by the wealthy and the aristocracy of the time. Czech crystal chandeliers could be found in the palaces of the French king Lois XV. Empress of Austria, and Elizabeth of Russia, and in Milan's La Scala. I believe this to be Czech Bohemian Art Glass. Etched& Painted Art Deco Era. Red& Black Linear Decoration. It measures approx 9 inches in height including the stopper. There are two or so of the tiniest chip marks on the rim of the bottom of the stopper and there are two tiny ones on the rim of the bottle. Both are shown in photo.
