Two Antique/Vintage Cast Iron Pediment Wall Hanging Decor Architectural Pieces. These pieces are architectural in nature. They were out side all these years. Probably on a porch or around a door. They have weathered beautifully. If I were displaying them, I would leave them just as they are. They measure 20 x 8 1/2 and 21 x 9. They were made to hang together. One is slightly longer than the other. As you can see in the pictures, one has 4 leaves and the other has 7. Three of the leaves are missing from the one with 4 leaves. They still look amazing hanging together. I have adjusted the price to cover this. It is the leaves and acorn pattern. There are some full acorns and some caps only- they are intended to be that way. They are flat on one side and sort of three dimensional on the other as the leaves curve out. I also think they would be ... morenice staggered with a mirror in between. Rustic Primitive Vintage Iron Pediment Baluster or? Oak Leaves& Acorns Black Busybusybusy treasure hunting week for you. I shopped at a closing antique store. Went to the flea market, and still have some items from the weeks ago farm estate auction- there’s lots of neat stuff that you don‘t want to miss! The mighty oak is one of my favorite trees. So I never pass up a gorgeous old acron or oak leaf. This piece- I think that it is made of both iron and steel. It's an old architectural piece, and I'm not sure exactly what it was, but it reminds me of the old stair balusters- like the kind that you'd find on the front steps going up to the door with the rail. There's a heavy/thicker outside frame that I do believe is iron. It's made from two long pieces, each having one"finger" for lack of a better word that ... moresticks out at the short end- so one finger on each end, and the fingers are 2 1/2" long- clearly once used to connect to whatever they connected to. Then, inside the iron frame, you have another frame that is attached- running the perimeter of the iron frame, it has the decorative design of oake leaves and acorns on the inside. This piece, I think is steel- and I don't know if it's cast, or pressed, but my guess is pressed into shape because you can see the details of the leaves/acorns on both sides of the piece- but there's clearly a front side and a backside. I'm showing you fist the front side details and then the backside details in my photos. The frame measures 19 1/2" long(not including the fingers- just under 25" long in total including the fingers) by 7 3/8" wide. You can see that the two sides of the frame are not attached at the ends- see photo X. I think that this is not original, I think that this may have occured(and it's like this on both sides) when the piece was removed from whatever it was attached to before. You can push on those two open spots and get them to move slightly back and forth. It doesn't affect the center

Vintage Cast Iron Architectural Pediment with Colored Flowers & Leaves
Hi there, This item is a really cute. Vintage, architectural pediment of some type. It appears to be made of cast iron and is dark green in color with a spray of pink, blue, and white flowers across the top. It has rust spots in several areas across the front and back which truly add to the vintage, shabby-chic" style. It is approximately 7 inches high, 6 inches wide at longest point, and 1/2 inch thick across at the base. There are two holes close to the top where you can put screws or nails if you want to hang it on a wall. On the back side at the base, there is a small square indentation with a hole(which doesn't go all the way through) where the pediment may have been attached to something else at one time. ANTIQUE VINTAGE HAND WROUGHT IRON PANEL GRATE GATE 10" w x 42 1/4" high
This is an antique or vintage wrought iron grate or panel that was salvaged from a door imported from Egypt. You can see the Arabic influence in the turned finials on top. It measures 10" wide x 42 1/2" high x 1/2" thick or deep. They are all riveted together as opposed to any welded joints and most likely are hand wrought. They are painted brown on one side and white on the other, there is some minor surface rust as you can see in the pictures. We have some other similar panels presently listed.
