Pair Ornate Victorian Antique Shelf Brackets 6" x 6" D
Pair of antique Victorian era(late 1800s) cast iron shelf brackets. The brackets have an ornate ornamental geometric pattern. They measure approx 6 1/8 x 6 3/8 inches and are 1/2 inch thick. Photos are shown of both sides as well as a close up view. The brackets have been restored and are in excellent condition. But still have a few dings as normally seen on items of this age. Additionally, one bracket has 1/4 inch of the end one side broken off, but there is still enough of the screw hole left to firmally attach it to the shelf or wall.

AWESOME checkered design on these Gable pediments that came out of the upper midwest. I bought them from a fellow dealer at Brimfield- Has great lines& gingerbread detail. Old gray blue paint& a light mustard color. There are some cracks in the wood- but this piece is solid& structurally sound. No rot! Solid piece- wonderful victorian design- circa 1880 vintage! Ornate Antique Walnut Pediment- Victorian 55" Wide- 21" High This is an antique Victorian walnut wood pediment. It was probablythe top of an elegant piece of furniture or headboard. It measures 55" wide and 21-1/2" high at the center. It is in good condition- it looks like original finish- quality wood. There is one area of damage- I have shown it in the last picture- The right side of the top piece below the pointed piece is broken off- there is some stain on it but it can be seen in the picture with the green border. ANTIQUE 1800's GOTHIC VICTORIAN ORNATE CARVED WOOD VINTAGE PEDIMENT CORNICE CRESTS A pair of very beautiful. 1800s, pediments that probably when on the back of chairs. They are made of solid wood and have openwork in the center with applied leaves on the sides. Each lovely crest measures approximately 14 1/2" across x 9 1/4" high(not including the dowels on the bottom) x 1 3/16" thick. The wood appears to have the original patina with some scratches to the surface finish. One of them(see photo) is missing the rosette in the middle and the wood is separating at the top and needs to be glued down(see photo) There must have been something else on the very top, because there is a dowel hole on the top of each one(see photo) Everything else looks great on these wonderful old pediments! This is a lovely pediment. Pictured hanging right on my wall. Excellent vintage condition. Made from a lightweight wood- perhaps a fruitwood? Natural wood; a golden brown color. Purchased in historic Virginia Nevada antique shop about 20 years back. Approximately 24" at base. About 8" tall.
