I'found' this in my barn- hanging in the rafters were I was placing gable ... morepediments. I thought for the longest time I had this piece listed- but alas it was not. I bought this piece about 5 or 6 years ago. Has a great checkered design in the triangle pediment area- the green paint is creak. Nice crackled finish. The top of the peak is unpainted- it must have been covered as the green paint was NEVER applied to the piece. The bottom edge needs to be trimmed- it has some soft spots on it- I tried to capture this in the pictures. I would estimate about 1 to 1.5" needs to be trimmed on the bottom edge for a smooth. Even edge. Measures 108.5" long is 39" at peak& 8.5" deep. Old square nails are studding the backside also. Has metal flashing on top edge. Wonderful size for headboard- over a door way or mantle- could also be re-used for a functional purpose to dress up a home or barn! Will need to send with our delivery service- $200-300. Antique wood carved pediment crest trim piece 22" long This is a beautiful original antique carved wood pediment The pieces measures 22" wide by 4-5/8" tall by 1-1/4 inch thick across the bottom There are holes across the bottom and top for attachment. I'm not sure what the wood is. The condition is good. There are no breaks, cracks or repairs to the pieces. There are some scratches.
