THE SECOND OF THREE VERY LARGE BABY DOLL HEAD MOLD This Baby Head. The stand alone head without a frame, measures up to about 6" x 5" x 6" The baby head is very naturalistic, life size even. You can see the reddish gold copper showing through in several areas. It is covered with a great deal of light green blue patina, and has the mottled remains of a lot of vinyl or plastic splash. The face has the interesting hollow eyes, no pins in the sockets or between the lips like some have. The mold is copper and is not magnetic. The mold entry has no cover. It is one of three that I will be listing that all came from the same production mold frame. I am listing them one at a time, one each week so that I do not get them mixed up. What I have been told is a VERY early Dr. Ziegler Head mirror/ reflector. The only markings on it are"PAT APLD FOR" which I have understood to mean"Patent Applied For" Supposedly this would have been early enough to not even have the patent number and/or date. Absolutely beautiful with a very natural patina. I have never polished. Deoxidized or cleaned the piece. I am by no means a photographer and I can tell you the pictures do not remotely do this justice. The mirror has the peep hole ... morefor your eye and the mirror is completely adjustable with the brass clamp and balls. I have not seen another with a nose rest. It seems as though the later ones were built with a larger pad on the forehead and eliminated the nose rest. All the construction appears to be painted brass other than the buckle for the strap. When I purchased the piece, I was told that it was WWI vintage and was military oriented and was used in France. I do not know the truth to that, but would love to find out more. VINTAGE CAST IRON ARTICULATING TABLE BASE, STEAMPUNK, INDUSTRIAL, DRAFTING, LEGS
Here is a great. Ornate, cast iron articulating table base from a 19th century doctor or dentist chair. It will be the perfect base for that industrial table when you add the top of your choice. It has the"stomp lever" which is all mechanical(no hydraulics) the larger foot lever jacks it up with a ratchet and has about 6" of vertical travel. The smaller lever lets it down. The top tilts in two directions(and locks in place) so it would be a great drawing or drafting table. The top rotates so it would be the most awesome chess table ever. You can do a lot with this and make it into any size table you want. If you take the top piece off(photo 5) it is the perfect coffee table height. With the top and armrests on, it starts at dining table height and raises to counter or bar chair height. The top shown is not included- it is not ... morequite right for this piece. But does help demonstrate what a great table this would make. I sell a lot of this type of stuff and this will probably be the best one I ever have. This has been completely disassembled. Professionally sandblasted, professionally painted, and professionally pinstriped and professionally HAND LETTERED with the original markings- just look at the paint job- top notch. This is one great piece. This is beautifully rendered in figural cast iron and is seriously heavy duty. It will ship via UPS and disassembled into 2 boxes. The shipping calculator shows what you will pay. Their are only two comments- there is one tiny ding(last photo) in the leg on the side opposite of the lettering and the operation levers. Otherwise. This is restored MINT. And, when you want to lower the elevation, you push the smaller lever and then press down on the table. It had a heavy chair on it so it won't drop on its own, but just push the lever with your foot and then some modest hand pressure will lower the elevation. Steampunk Industrial Welder's Table / Coffee Table / Work of Art
Just finished up this project. VERY UNIQUE. VERY INDUSTRIAL. VERY COOL. VERY STEAMPUNK. The framework is a turn of the century antique welder's table. I covered the top with cleaned and buffed. Re-purposed roofing metal and added a decorative(almost medieval) decoration. There are almost 400 small copper plated nails attaching the steel. The design work has been polished, but the original galvanized coating was left on the base metal to add contrast. Finished it off with a couple coats of clear lacquer and painted the base a flat black. This is truly a one-of-a-kind piece of art. Approx. 38" wide x 20" deep. Very Heavy and Sturdy. I don't see a model number on it, but has all the tiny writing and tiny numbers of the strength of lenses etc. It is in wonderful working order. Everything glides smoothly, unscrews smoothly to clean lenses etc. I even saw tiny little organisms on slides through it! The case is sturdy and has that beautiful age to the wood. Antique vintage Shuron optical uni-chuk drill Bodine 1/20 HP motor steampunk
Hello. This is a great piece of optical history. The motor works very good even under a load. The on/off switch works.Motor specs. are/ volts, 115/amp, 1.7/ duty, cont/ ph,1/ hp 1/20/ rpm,1750/cycle60/ temp rise 40/ no. 4341210/ type NSI-33. Of course you can see that it needs a new belt. All of the parts are moveing, that is, not frozen. It needs cleaned real bad. All the parts are securely mounted on a board with rubber feet under it. There is a three prong plug on it. I saw a motor very similar on ebay for just under $200.00. Please take a good close look at all the pics. and contact me with any and all questions. Copper Doll Mold of Womens Left Leg & Foot Old Industrial SteamPunk
VERY very COOL DOLL LEFT LEG AND FOOT MOLD This mold of a shapely left leg and foot looks to be about the proper size for a classic Barbie doll. I do not see any marking on the mold that would indicate what doll or manufacturer this leg was made for however. It is kind of hard to get good photos of this great mold. Because of what must have been heat shields that are attached to the two sides of box like production frame. The mold and frame together measures about 10" x 5" x 7.75" The leg is very naturalistic, and is posed"on tip toes" the finished molded leg would have been ready to be dressed up in a pair of stylish plastic high heels, well not a"pair" of shoes. The mold itself is non-magnetic the two silver plates that I am calling"heat shields" are not magnetic either. It weighs just under ... more7.5 pounds with packaging. The copper mold is attached to an iron box frame which has a rusted, pitted, oxidized surface. Very Urban Chic, or Metro Loft. This is an actual industrial mold that would have been used in a factory that manufactured plastic dolls. There are many years of accumulated age built up on the exterior surface in the form of dirt. Natural patina and so forth. It would make an industrial decorative steam punk splash on a pedestal, shelf or as an element of an artistic sculpture. Copper Mold OLIVER HARDY : Laurel & Hardy: Doll Head Old Industrial SteamPunk
VERY COOL MOLD OF THE HEAD AND MOUTH/CHIN OF OLIVER HARDY This is a pair of toy molds that would have produced a head of OLIVER HARDY and a moving or movable I should say. Mouth that could possibly open and close. Very unusual, the size is pretty big, over all the copper mold and it's production box frame measures 9 x 6 x 7 for the main head section and 5.5 x 3.5 x 2 inches for the little chubby chin and lower choppers. Neither actual mold is magnetic and both have obvious copper attributes. The head has a paper tag attached identifying it as"MASTER" and some additional numbers and letters that might have designated factory inventory tracking and or size or machine that it worked with. Weight without packaging is nearly 10 pounds for the two molds. All the usual about patina and pitting. Very COOL.
