Pair Ornate Victorian Antique Shelf Brackets 6" x 6" D
Pair of antique Victorian era(late 1800s) cast iron shelf brackets. The brackets have an ornate ornamental geometric pattern. They measure approx 6 1/8 x 6 3/8 inches and are 1/2 inch thick. Photos are shown of both sides as well as a close up view. The brackets have been restored and are in excellent condition. But still have a few dings as normally seen on items of this age. Additionally, one bracket has 1/4 inch of the end one side broken off, but there is still enough of the screw hole left to firmally attach it to the shelf or wall.

FINE PAIR OF WINDOW CORNICE GOLD & EBONIZED WOOD & PLASTER CIRCA 1890
This is the finest pair of window cornices that I have owned in many years. These highly decorative cornices are made of wood and plaster. They are painted a base coat of gold with ebony accents. I bought these to use in my home but they did not fit properly and I did not want to alter them. There was some damage to the plaster that I had repaired. Some of the repair was damaged again when I moved but it is very minor. The black and gold paint needs to be touched up where the repairs were made. The cornices are a good size. They measure 64" long. 8" high, 8" deep on the outside, and 5" deep on the inside. They will need to be wrapped and boxed seperately to ship via UPS so the shipping quote should be doubled. Antique mahogany wood carved pediment brackets- A Gorgeous Pair This is a great original old wood pair of wood pediment brackets- not sure what they were on. I purchased the pieces at an estate sale years ago. The pieces measures 17" tall by 8" wide across the bottom by 1-1/4 inch thick There are holes in the bottom for a wood peg attachment and holes in the"S" curve where something was once attached. I'm not sure what the wood is. But I think it may be mahogany. The condition is good. There are no breaks, cracks or repairs to the pieces. There are some scratches. Rubs and marks on the finish. These beautiful corbels came from the estate of a collector specializing in French style interior design and architectural salvage. We believe the type of wood to be cherry or pecan. This capital would fit a column 5" in diameter. Pieces each measure 5 3/4" tall. 6 1/2" wide. If they were affixed to the wall, they would measure 4 3/4" deep at the deepest point. Superb Pair 19th c Antique Architectural Terra Cotta Glazed Blocks
Purchased many years ago and these have resided in my garden for years and also in my decorating inside. These are handsome terra cotta decorative blocks which measure 4 7/8” tall by 4" wide by 4 1/8" deep. They have an excellent creamy white glaze with lots of age crazing. The fronts have a geometric design and they came from a pre-1920 Chicago structure that was demolished. The left sides have a trellis design inset and the right sides have mold numbers of 670 over FK1. You will note chips in the glaze on corners and edges. There is residual mortar in the back and bottoms. The details are deeply rendered in pleasingly stylized manner and the surface has naturally weathered texture from a century in the elements. Wooden Eagle Pediments Pair of 2 Antique Architectural Federal Era Hand Carved
For your Early American Eagle collection or architectural restoration project we have a Pair of Two Wooden Eagle Pediments Antique Architectural Federal Era Birds that are Hand Carved in the early 1800's. These were recently mounted on iron stands for display. Using the original holes which go through from the top to the bottom in two places on each pair to host the iron rods that they are now fixed onto. Fairly substantial in size, each of these facing eagles actually measures 10" high x 13 1/2" wide x 1 1/4" deep(thick) and are ready for display on these stands that bring them up to 13" tall. Together they weigh 8 pounds 3.5 ounces including the iron stand. They show their age from alligatored varnish and a deepened patina to the wood. These look like they may have been painted over at one time. And have been dry ... morescraped to remove the paint. They have age cracks to the wood, including one that goes straight through the neck of one bird, yet have retained their aesthetic historic value and decorative appeal. The wood these are carved from is a very dense, hard wood. Hand carved eagle figures are still considered the epitome of collectible American folk art pieces and are generally associated with the Federal style era in architectural design. Which is a period that ranges from 1780 to 1830, appearing most commonly on frames, furniture, building ornamentation, and as motifs throughout the making of textiles and American advertising ephemera.
