2 Victorian House Adjustable Window CORNICE Valance Eastlake Wood 1880 Patent

The rod is intact on both. But feels brittle. We moved it a little, but did not want to risk breaking anything. Once these are in place they don't need to adjust, but if you want them to move really well and still be adjustable, you could replace the threaded wood with metal parts. There are some pieces missing. But all could be made by woodworker with basic skills. There are some pieces chipped off the crown and we hae 2 of those pieces, but not all. There is wear to the varnished and painted surface. Right now these are anout 56" Long x 8" tall There looks to be about 7" of movement possible on each side(14" of adjustment total) But they are ... moremostly extended now. Roughly, I would say they theoretically adjust from about 45" to 60" if the threaded rod works all the way. These will be shipped by FedEx. Contact us for a specific quote. Architectural Salvage Eastlake Pediment Carved /Appliqued Oak Vintage Decorative
This is an Eastlake-style pediment and my best guess is that it's off a dresser or a mirror. It is carved and the arch is an applique. The oak has no stain or varnish left on it and is quite lovely in that it's survived to find a new use as a decorative wall hanging. It is 22" long. 7" high and a little more than an inch thick.

It is in gorgeous condition, has no damage what so ever aside from a crack at the right hand bottom under accent piece,it is very hard to notice and very easily fixed as no wood is missing and it is a very small clean crack. also, mirror has the most trivial of hazing but it really is faint, mirror is absolutely original, you can see that it has not been replaced or tinkered with at all. hinges to case are perfect and lid moves as it should, perfectly! nothing is loose or wobbly. ... moreI threw in a few items inside just to show scale and how much stuff you really can fit inside case. i see no real scratches, dings, dents, or any other issues to mention, everything looks perfect and as is, as the day it was made most likely over 100 years ago.anything that may look like a blemish is probably just dust or glare. it also does not weigh very much at all. i have it hanging on the wall with just one plastic push pin, though there is not much inside it, i would obviously advise to use something stronger for permanent hanging like a nail. top to bottom a very gorgeous early eastlake piece. ARCHITECTURAL ANTIQUE : VINTAGE CARVED EASTLAKE CREST
VINTAGE HAND CARVED EASTLAKE DESIGN CREST: Very nicely carved Eastlake crest. The two pieces of this mahogany crest were found two years apart. Unfortunately one small section of the bottom of the shield could not be found. The overall design of the crest is a very good example of Eastlake style carving with gold enamel inlay to highlight the carved areas. The two original finials are in place.The center panel on the shield is of a lighter color than the main body of the shield. Which is mahogany in color. This crest is a'survivor' give a new home on a wall in your home. The crest is approx. 13" tall x 12 1/2" wide x 2 1/4" deep.

Lovely Antique Eastlake Era Carved Wood Pediment GREAT Over Door Well. I am back from a monster shopping trip to the World’s Longest Yard Sale– we shop Ohio every year and then stop at some of my favorite spots in Indiana to buy from. Spent 2 whole days taking photos and still not done– I have a LOT and I’ll be listing for weeks. There’s something for everyone- primitive antiques, ephemera, military, railroad, industrial, farm finds– you name it, I have it and it’s all unique– you’ll want to keep checking, as I will list every day. Enjoy! Here is a beautiful antique late 1800s carved wood pediment for you. It's one of the simpler ones that I have seen(which is what I love about it! with 6 vertical carved wood lines that separate the 5 down facing triangle points of wood and that have a round carved notch at the top. And a raised double ... moreround piece at the very top center of the pediment that reinforces the round carving. I don't know if this was a furniture or an architectural piece, but it was once attached to something for sure- the bottom left and right are rough from where it was attached. I see no other indication of how it was attached- no mounting holes now open, no marks at the back- whatever it used to be, it appears to have only been attached at the left and right undersides. It's not a cut there either, the roughness is uneven as if they were broken off, but you can't tell that from the front, only when looking at them closely from the underside. The piece is solid wood- I won't know what kind but the patina is darkdarkdark. It measures 33" at its widest, and 11 1/2" tall. The wood on the sides is 15 1/6" thick and it is hefty, weighing just over 4 1/4 lbs. I'm concerned about the shipping to some locations, as it will have an oversize balloon rate, being over 84" packed girth plus height. LARGE! Tiger Oak Victorian Furniture Pediment Eastlake Fretwork Cabinet Crest
Near perfect condition! Circa 1800s. Salvaged, Victorian header. 100% refinished gives it a perfect patina. Highest quality, 1/4 sawn oak construction. Sawtooth trim along the bottom with flame trim to the left and right. Deep layers of bevelling as you go up. Parallel horizontal grooves in the middle and same near the top. There are 4 vertical columns with fluting and domino carving on the fronts. Most dramatic of all, is the criss crossing fretwork that allows you to look straight through the piece. Lovely Antique Eastlake Spoon-Carved Pediment Walnut Golden Tones 24"
This is a lovely Eastlake carved antique pediment. Great spoon-carved detail throughout and especially each end. It measures 24" long. I think the wood might be walnut. Pretty golden grain fully finished and lovely. It's a bit lower at the very bottom in the center back. Small piece of wood gone though fully finished, but you don't notice from the front.

Gorgeous Victorian Eastlake Walnut Pediment. Beautiful block carvings on top with floral cut out designs near bottom. Grand old pediment from the turn of the century. Wonderful matte finish with a few scratches. Pediment is perfect to hang over doors. Pictures, as statement piece or an enhancement to other furniture. Great condition for it's age but there are some minor imperfections. Crack on center block goes all the way through to the back so it wobbles a little side to side. Description This is a nice piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian home. It is made of oak and is currently painted. It was originally the crown to a built in wardrobe. It is loaded with Eastlake Spoon Carvings. Carved corbels, brackets and ornate moldings. The body is 54.25 inches wide and overall 57.25 wide. It is 17 inches tall and 3.5 inches deep. Overall it is in good co ndition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. Theare are a couple of light cracks and paint chips. LARGE! 1860s Burl Walnut Furniture Pediment Eastlake Carved Window Valance Panel
This is a WHOPPER! Circa 1800s. Architectural header. Perfect as a window valance, especially over wood blinds. This is high Victorian quality at its best. It has side columns at each end with Eastlake inscribed triangles at the bottom, parallel vertical grooves above, then beveled cornice trim with arch on top. All along the bottom is bull nose trim with more Eastlake inscribed carving near each end. Further up is sawtooth trim of real burled walnut. Beveled cornice trim directly above that. Ornate spindles at each end with a large burled walnut panel in between. The burled walnut panel has a diamond medallion near the spindles and a small beveled, burled walnut medallion in the middle. MINT CONDITION! Original. 19th century, header. Solid walnut with fantastic patina. Classic Eastlake inscribed carving to left and right. The middle has 2 carved leaves with a classic Eastlake flower medallion. The medallion is in a horn style and VERY 3 dimensional in person. Above is a arched multi-layed cornice. Completely freestanding with numerous mounting holes if being used as backsplash. You will be hard pressed to find a nicer one than this beauty. No cracks, repairs, or missing pieces!
