Up for bid are two Antique Steel Corbel Brackets that were found in a house that was being remodeled. The house dated from 1892 so these could be from that period forward. The photos show the corbels to be pink in color. However they are off white in color. These corbels are made of steel and are hollow. There is only slight surface rust here and there on the corbels; no holes from rust nor none starting. They would clean up quite well with some paint stripping material applied. These would make a great addition to a historical remodeling project or just simply a great conversation piece if added to an interior decorating project. PAIR 1885 Pierced Walnut Victorian Furniture Corbel Carved Column Shelf Brackets
Matching pair of salvaged. 2 sided, antique brackets. They have pierced, bevelled carving with incised carving. Their ends are nicely contoured with ornately carved medallions above. The wood is walnut. Each one measures approx. 14 inches by 5 1/8 inches. They are almost 2 inches thick. If a smaller corbel/bracket is desired, their length can be cut in half VERY easily. Finely Detailed Carved Wooden Corbel Brackets Superb
These are salvaged wooden brackets tastefully carved in fine detail. The spiraled rondels protrude on one side creating a pleasing multi-dimensional look. Each corbel is 13" x 6.5" x 2" Many items I am selling came from a furniture and designcompany that went out of business in 1997.
