joe calcite SET of 4 MID CENTURY HEAVY DUTY HAIRPIN LEGS This offering is for a set of 28" tall hairpin legs made of heavy 1/2" thick metal rod. There is a small metal'button' foot welded on the end of each leg. These legs are made differently than is typical. Which can be seen in the photos. This attachment system seems to be stronger/ sturdier. Also, it allows for the legs to be spread or squeezed slightly when attached to get a thinner or wider appearance. These have all been wire brushed. Rust primered, and sprayed with one coat of black enamel. The result is a nice clean finish. However, i may well have missed a few spots, and there will likely be dings from shipping, so anticipate a second coat of black. Set of 4 VINTAGE 1950s Eames Era Mid Century Modern Iron 28" HAIRPIN Table Legs
Fantastic set of FOUR VINTAGE 1950's era MCM Mid Century Modern HAIRPIN Table Legs in PRISTINE condition! These were salvaged from a severely water damaged table and have been restored to ABSOLUTE perfection. The original paint was flaking off and they had some EXTREMELY LIGHT surface rust which was lightly sandblasted off but there is ABSOLUTELY NO PITTING to the metal! They were originally installed with the top ends stuck into holes in a metal frame under the wood top. The frame was too far gone to save but without it. There was no way to reuse the legs as they were, so I welded small corner brackets on the tops so they could be attached to any flat material you want. The brackets are as thin as a dime and the screws will be to the inside of the leg so you can install them as close as 1" from the edge of the material. Everything ... morewas then sprayed with two coats of automotive grade sealing primer and then THREE top coats of automotive grade enamel in SATIN BLACK. These have never looked so good and will certainly stand out on your next project! Most furniture makers would use modern Square Drive or Phiips Head screws to attach them to the wood, but I can include FOR FREE 16 VINTAGE Slotted(Flat) Head wood screws(painted to match) if you need them. Made of 3/8" diameter steel. Each measures 28" long. The 5/8" wide angle bracket is 4" X 4" The spread of the legs at the top is 5-3/4" wide and they taper to approx 1-1/4" wide at the bottom just above the bend. True vintage hairpin table legs set 4 desk 28" wrought iron midcentury black
Nice estate find-set of 4 table/desk legs. Wrought iron in hairpin style. Each leg measures 28 inches from the top of the corner joint to bottom. Legs are nice and straight with no bends. Dents, rust holes that I can see. There is light surface rust, the worst of which is at the bottoms of each leg-see last 2 pics as I have shown the leg bottoms front and back. Enlarge and use zoom to see fully. Should clean up just fine and I will let the new owner do this. Corner joints are 5 inches on each side. Great solid set that will look wonderful once spruced up a bit. NOTE++++I weighed the set and box at 13 pounds but if it comes to less I will, as always, immediately refund the difference as I do not make money from shipping. Thanks!

Vintage mid-century modern wrought iron footstool base with hairpin legs atomic
Footstool base measures 17" square and is about 10" high. Add a 17” x 17” piece of plywood and tile the top for a smooth finish. Or cover a board with foam and staple fabric to it for an upholstered piece. The frame has a lip all the way around it so the board will not show. Cool vintage piece is a great starting part for your mod foot stool or plant stand.
