They were salvaged from a pair of old school desks. Each from the seat section. The metal is cleaned of paint and most rust, leaving a dark patinated metal. These adjust from 11" to 14" in height. The mounting plates are oval or elliptical in shape and swivel approximately 80 degrees(about a quarter turn) This set would work well for a long low table, credenza, or console. The finish is a newer black and the base was originally used for an Industrial sewing machine application. The feet are cast iron with a great stamping for the Charles and Paul Sewing Machine Co. Here we have a rare pair of antique Machine Age industrial table legs by the Chandler company. I have never seen a pair like these. They are smaller and skinnier then the legs you will find normally making them perfect for a coffee table or a side table. These legs are adjustable up to about 17 1/2 inches tall and as low as about 12 3/4 inches tall. When measuring the feet of these legs from toe to toe these legs are about 8 3/4 inches wide. Up for sale is this incredible industrial stand for a coffee or end table. It's extremely heavy and is all cast iron. It does not have any markings. Other than the number"2" It's adjustable at the fork. With both sides raising and dropping. At the lowest, it measures approximately 16 1/4, at the tallest it measures approximately 19 1/2" It is very sturdy and has screw holes in the base where it can be attached to the floor. Up for your consideration is the very unique table base. The two tiers are ADJUSTABLE. You can see in the pictures how they will slide down from there position in the pictures. Picture#8 has the left side adjust down. Looking underneath you can see the hardware that makes this all possible. Which is also very cool. Similar ones sold like this recently were fixed in there position. Four bolts in total, two for each side. The two on top adjust the up and down movement for the respected side. The bolts on the sides tighten to secure the platform. The patented date is on the bottom flange. Visible when looking down at the base. A few other letters and numbers are also embossed into ... morethe iron, very cool. The two platforms stand 21" and 14 1/2" Both sides can be adjusted 3" down from this position. The base is 13" by 9 1/4" The bolts require a 3/4" socket. All measurements are approximates. Which are very close but not exactly precise. The beauty and beast weighs in at 30 pounds. Base may be taken apart for shipping. Its only two bolts that would need reassembly, very easy. Only the item above which was just described is up for purchase. My house. Another great feature that makes this set unique is that these are adjustable to up to 25 7/8 inches high add a 2 inch cross board and a 2 inch top and you are at standard dining table height. ADJUSTABLE STEEL METAL WORKBENCH LEGS Vintage Work Bench Table Base Industrial
Offering a set of vintage heavy duty steel workbench/ work bench/ machine stand/ table legs. They are constructed with steel'C' channel. Making them strong as well as lending to the adjustable aspect. The legs are held in position by 2 machine screws threaded into a sliding block inside the'C' channel. Each leg adjusts independently of the other in each set. This allows for differential height adjustment to allow for sloped or uneven floor. Height can be adjusted from 34" to 48" These are in solid condition, but have layers of paint loss, surface rust, and dirt. They will need wire brushed and/ or cleaned OR wipe off and clear coat to preserve the rust and flaking paint. Outside measurement of the legs front to back is 18" The whole set weighs 26 pounds before packing.
