Two oak cabinet door panels salvaged from building in North East by collector when he was a child. Each measures approximately 14" x 15 1/2" There is some evidence of a mirror or glass that was in one of the doors. Minor pieces of carved detail missing. Each door weighs just a few lbs. The doors are made of solid pine and have 5 raised panels. Hardware: The doors are not equipped with any hardware. However. Talk about an unusual Charleston estate auction find. here is an incredible heavy carved polychrome solid wood Chinese door or heavy gate with a cross beam and side beam frame as well as the heavy raised panel doors with all their original iron fittings. This is an old Chinese door and is extremely heavy as well as somewhat primitive on the unfinished sides of the beams. The polychrome paint is quite worn but is still quite evident and adds so much character to an already gorgeous detailed yet functional heavy door. I have included a number of photographs in an attempt to accurately represent the design. Quality, condition and overall beauty of this delightful antique door. Unfotunately I do not know any additional provenance on the door or have any definitive explanation as to how it arrived in our fair city, though with it being a port ... morecity and with the sheer size and weight, my guess is whenever it came to the US, it was most assuredly by boat long ago. The standing door frame itself is 78 inches tall by 68 inches wide at it's widest points. At beams which extend and is constructed of huge beams 4 1/2 inches wide.The inside doorway entrance(inside the standing frame) is 63 1/2 inches tall and 39 1/4 inches wide, with a bottom crossbeam one would have to step over to enter. In addition there is a large crossbeam I believe goes overhead, hooking into the corbels, 68 inches long by 8 inches wide by 4 1/4 inches thick. There are also two side beams each 73 1/4 inches long by 6 1/2 inches wide by 3 inches thick and the two corbels, carved from blocks roughly 21 1/2 inches by 12 inches by 8 inches. The two raised panels doors, which shut from behind the door frame, are 74 1/2 inches tall and very heavy, ready for locking out the enemy. The top of this hutch is curved and has a beveled edge and pressed wood design on the inside top edge. The front corners have been cut on angel and tiger striped veneer applied for added detail. There are 2 bevel cut leaded glass doors on top. The glass is in excellent condition with no chips. Cracks or breaks. The base has 2 large drawers that are dove tail design and 2 large doors that ... moreopen up to ample storage. All the doors and drawers have matching original looking ornate metal pulls. This is a magnificent piece of furniture. There is a strip of burled wood down the center of the upper and lower pieces and the front of the lower doors have burled wood on them as well as a nicely designed inlaid tiger wood strip. This piece has great patina. The veneer has bubbled and chipped in a couple of spots but its hardly noticeable. The over all condition of this piece is excellent for its age. It is a very old antique and will not be perfect. I do not know the exact date it was made or who the maker is. The base measures 39 inches tall, 53 inches side to side and 23 inches front to back. It weighs 75 pounds. The top measures 34 ½ inches tall, 49 1/8 inches side to side and 17 1/8 inches front to back. It weighs 97 pounds. These old entry doors are 8' 11" by 30" and 1/4 wide the two glass panes in each door are 3' by 2' and in grate condition. The doors came from a Store in small town in Alabama that was built 1907. This is for a lot of 4 vintage brass Post Office box doors with combination locks. One is a Federal Equipment Co. door dated 1962. One is a Keyless Lock door dated 1964, one is a Wood Prod. door dated 1973, and one is a Corbin door dated 1965. The doors are all complete with the locks and glass. The two doors at the bottom in the first photo have plexiglass, one partly painted black and one clear. The top two have real glass, one painted black and one painted tan. The combination lock on each door works good and the combinations are included. The doors are used and have normal wear. They all need some cleaning and polish to look really good. The Cabinet has a nice curved detail at the top edge and a base which enables the piece to set on a countertop or table if you do not want to mount it on a wall. There are two metal straps attached to the back for mounting on a wall. The Cabinet is finished a dark antique brown outside and pale green paint inside with two shelves. Again, this buy-it-now is for ONE door. Most of the woodwork in my house, including the floors, is pine, so I'm assuming these doors are pine. Beautiful scalloped carving surrounding the glass. One door has a significant chip on the top inside corner, shown in one photograph. Otherwise, minor nicks and scratches, overall in good shape. I believe if you stripped these, patched and finished, they will look beautiful. And the original wavy glass is gorgeous. The doors are not perfectly square, so I will give the range of measurements. I removed the lockset from one door to distinguish the two, but mortise lock, plate, knobs, and iron hinges ARE INCLUDED! All are original to the doors ... moreexcept the deadbolts. Vintage Womans Wood Jewelry Box/Chest W/Double Glass Doors And Mirrored Back
1960's jewelry chest features double glass and wood doors on hinges with magnetic close. A necklace claw and two shelves, and a mirrored back wall in the necklace compartment. It is a good solid peice of furniture, as it weighs 3llbs 9oz. Height is 8 1/2 in. Width is 8 in. Inside is 31/2 in. deep Total outside depth is 5 3/8 in. The chest is in good condition but a peice of the hardware under the left door is missing. It has a scratch on the top and a couple of fine scratches on other locations. The knobs to the door are a bit worn. Its a good peice if you're in to refinishing. It is priced low. As the shipping can get quite pricey. Jewelry sold separately and not included.

This listing is for a vintage wood jewelry box with ten velvet lined drawers. It measures 13.25" tall. 12.5" across and 9" deep. Thw top two drawers each have 9 sections, for smaller things like rings and earrings. The other six are one compartment. The two long bottom drawers are sectioned. The top has three long sections for bracelets or necklaces, and the bottom drawer has three wider sections for larger items. There are some nicks and scratches in the wood, the top corners have small chips. The door hinges have corrosion, and the right door tends to open, it doesn't always catch and stay closed. A great old pre-1900 set of Cathedral top Mexican courtyard doors. Each measure 32 and three-quarter inches by 7 foot 2 1/2 inches and the hinges extend an additional one and three-quarter inches.
