This is a beautiful emerald green candy/powder dish hand decorated with lily of the valley in a Mary Gregory style. The gilding has seen better days and there is a slight chip and crack to the lid. HUGE TOP QUALITY VICTORIAN MARY GREGORY BLACK AMETHYST GLASS VASE15.5"
PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR LOTS OF PHOTOS. This is a wonderful piece of Victorian enamelled glass. Unusual to have the original lid still. With excellent quality white enamelling in the'Mary Gregory' style. This is a spectacular display piece. No maker's marks to the glass, there is a squiggle to the base though. This vase dates to around 1880 or so. The vase and lid appear to be black, but Victorian black glass is always amethyst, and this is the darkest shade. With clever lighting you could show the amethyst through the white painted design. Condition is very good with no damage, but there is a small chip to the stopper bottom of the lid which is hiddedn when the stopper is in place. Measuring 15.5 inches(39cm) tall. Weight 600g. Wonderful quality.

Excellent Pair of Victorian Mary Gregory Cranberry Glass Goblets c.1860 - 80
Up for auction this wonderful pair of Victorian Cranberry Glass Wine Goblets or glasses. With clear glass stems and bases, painted with Mary Gregory scenes of a boy and a girl in woodland dating from around 1860- 1880. The glasses are hand blown and made, and have an excellent colour. Both are hand painted in white enamel and the painting is in excellent condition with no wear or missing areas. As these are hand made there is some variation in thickness of the bowls between the two glasses. And they show the rings where they have been blown. Both glasses have smooth pontils, and some wear around the rim of the bases. The detail in the painting is excellent. With lovely leaves on the trees, birds in the backgrounds etc. These are a rare find to have the pair with the figures facing each other- normally you only get one. Antique Victorian Mary Gregory Cruet & Tumbler Set, Hand Painted Bohemian White
This listing is for an Antique. Victorian Mary Gregory Cruet and Tumbler Set. The pieces have a wonderful Mary Gregory hand painted portrait of a girl in white with flesh toned face and arms with white backgrounds. The painting is amazingly high quality with white on white which can be felt and seen. The glass is blown with a polished base on the tumbler and a pontil scar on the cruet. The cruet handle is applied. The stopper is original with the cruet neck and stopper bottom ground to fit each other. Both pieces have a paneled optic design which is almost exclusively pre-war. There are no maker or designer marks. Both pieces have a nice glow under UV light. They are likely Bohemian dating to the late 1800's or early 1900's and were original part of a set including a pitcher with a mother and another tumbler with a young boy. The ... morecruet measures 4 5/8" high without the stopper. 6 3/8" with the stopper and 3" in diameter at the center. The tumbler measures 3 3/4" high and 2 5/8" in diameter at the rim. Combined the set weighs 11.1 oz. The tumbler has two small chips on the rim. The cruet neck and stopper bottom have etching from forming and contact as would be expected. The cruet handle top has a small chip on the bottom right tab which applies it to the body. The side of the cruet has a small spider like crack on the side as seen in the photos. The balance of both pieces are free of chips. Cracks, fleabites and repairs. The artwork is in superb condition with no notable marks or nicks. The feet have light wear. The pontil scar on the cruet has some black markings. There are no signs of use on the interior or heavy mineral deposits. Despite the damage. They are beautiful original pieces and will make wonderful addition to a Victorian Enameled Glass or Mary Gregory collection. Shipping. Vintage Art Nouveau Victorian Mary Gregory Bohemian glass vase - pink peach
I can't find another piece anywhere online that is the same colour as this. It is a kind of peach/pink colour. It measures 14cms high and is in super condition. It is obviously blown glass, the base is an uneven thickness and there is a smoothed pontil mark. The decoration is clearly hand done and is of very good quality indeed. I think it is a vase but I suppose it could also be a scent/perfume bottle without the stopper? Either way, it is a very nice, decorative object.
