The actual slats that are supports on each side are pictured separately as seen in two photos. they stand 87" tall x 10.25" wide) The one side is cracked and needs to be glued and reinforced back together if you are planning on using them again. This grand arch once graced a fine estate during the late Victorian era. It favors a large central medallion type crest. Acanthus leaf with leaf and rose carved swags that are divided by bow ties. This huge piece was a focal point of a double parlor room as it separated the opening between the rooms. Very large and very heavy. Some damage is seen with minor losses to applied trim and rose blossoms. There is also fine white paint splatter, loss to a bow and an old age crack down the crest. The thickness on this piece is almost 4" Stunning and fabulous my dear. Belongs in an antebellum mansion like the one it came from. Wear is consistent with age. Well worth the price. Vintage Ornate ARCHITECTURAL SALVAGE PIECE Lot Wrought Cast Iron Grate Register
Two fabulous antique architectural pieces. I believe they were grates/registers for the home. So decorative and just the right size! The arched piece measures 13.75 inches tall and 10.25 inches wide at the base. The rectangular piece measures 11.5 inches tall and 9.5 inches wide. You can display them anywhere: hang them on a wall. Rest them on a shelf, etc. They have just enough wear to give them character- no rot. Just some light surface rust. Antique Vtg Architectural Church Confessional Ornate Wood Privacy Screen Salvage Description Absolutely fabulous estate find here in Massachusetts. This is one of two very old ornate wood panel doors with folding privacy screens. After much debate. We determined that they were originally part of a church, perhaps modesty doors on a confessional. This is just our opinion since we have never come across something this unique. Hand carved oak leafs. Only the front is carved. Back is flush. Pegged tenons& ship lap joints leads us to believe the doors are 19th century or even earlier. They are solid and fairly heavy. Given the age. They do have several conditional issues and we'll let the photos address these issues. I consider all the issues expected honest wear. This door has a crack which is displayed in a close up photo. These are the best antique, cast iron, gate pieces on ebay. I know because I looked at all of them. The longest piece is 15 inches by 13 1/2 inches. The 2 matching pieces are 10 inches by 13 inches.
