This style arrowhead is referenced in Chinese text as belonging to people of Mongolia in the 10th/ 11th century. This is an almost exact example of one pictured in text. This would have gotten to Europe during the Mongol Invasion circa 1238- 1242. This arrowhead comes from my Personal Collection and although it has some deterioration it is fully intact and blade form is as they were made other than a couple chips on edge. Tang was at one time square on this. As can be seen in photos this as a whistling hole on both sides of whistling chamber.
