The items measure 3.9 inches long with a base diameter of 0.7 inches and a top diameter of 2.8 inches. CONDITION: As is often the case with glass of this age and type there are flaws/bubbles within the glass. The most significant of these is a small group of black marks which are suspended within the glass and clearly visible in photo 2. Left hand side. The right hand trumpet also has a fault with a 0.2 inch"chip" to the base, this is visible in picture 1 and may also be an original flaw rather than subsequent damage. STUNNING VICTORIAN. 20 INCH HIGH, 5 BRANCH,CRANBERRY GLASS EPERGNE This is a stunning Victorian Glass Epergne measuring 20 inches in height and the diameter of the base is 10 inches. Circa 1860- 1880. The base has a scalloped rim. There is a central trumpet that screws into the metal holder. The two side baskets are held on a twisted plain glass stem. It is completed with two additional trumpets with plain glass adornment encircling them. Condition: Good. There is slight oxidization to the central metal holder consistent with age. Remarkably, each of the trumpets and the base are free from cracks or chips. It will of course be packed with the utmost care and attention. Please see my feedback regarding shipping delicate items.

Superb Antique Original Victorian Cranberry Glass Epergne Table Centre Piece
For sale we have the stunning original antique Victorian epergne table centre piece in cranberry glass. The lovely piece was created in around 1880 and would have been the opulent centre piece of a grand dining table. The piece consists of three flutes set around the taller fourth. Each flute has a spiral of crimped glass decoration. The piece stands 53cm/21" at the tallest point with the base measuring 26 1/2cm/10 1/2" across at the widest point. The condition of the piece is very good with no chips or cracks to the body of the piece. Two of the outer flutes have a small section of the crimped decoration missing which does not detract from the look of the piece and is shown in the photos below. The epergne has a marvelous and ornate opalescent cranberry shaded to light yellow glass in a fancy VICTORIAN style as the bowl-base. An Antique Cranberry Glass & Pelaton Ware Victorian Tri Branch Epergne
A late Victorian antique three branch epergne dating around 1880. The three branches are formed in the'jack-in-the-pulpit' design and they spring from a central clear glass and metal holder. The bowl has a frilled rim and is dished in the traditional style. The epergne is produced in cranberry glass. And most excitingly with pelaton canes. The pelaton work is in pure white glass(rather than the coloured glass often seen) perhaps as it works better with the cranberry ground. The white canes are also more frequent than usual and it makes for a lovely effect as you can see in the images. A lovely piece of Victorian decorative glass. Probably from the Stourbridge region. It is the first pelaton epergne we have ever come across so it is likely a very scarce design. C. 1870 This rich cranberry red epergne consists of three flutes with a basket on either side. The large centre flute is framed by two smaller flutes and pendant baskets suspended from spun glass curlicued arms. Both the flutes and baskets are further decorated with clear glass ruched"ribbons" wound around the bodies of the vessels. The coronet and basket arrangement is held in place by a pierced. Impressed brass stem holder rising above the centre of a fluted edged, curved bottom ... morered bowl that forms the epergne base. For sale we have this lovely antique Victorian cranberry epergne or table centre piece. This superb piece dates to around 1880. It consists of a centre flute with two baskets hanging either side. The piece stands 44cm/17.5" tall with the base measuring 26cm/10" across. The condition of the piece is very good. There are a couple of manufacturing bubbles to the base plate. Description A beautiful Victorian blown glass epergne. Made by one of the British glassworks in the late 19th century. The trumpet-shaped flute is made from hand-blown clear to cranberry glass cased with opalescent. The cranberry colour deepening at the top, and the opalescent glass showing white at the rim. The stem of the flute is decorated with crimped applied clear glass rigaree trailing all the way up, and the widening neck has a wavy rim. The flute and decoration are in very good condition. Unusual Victorian Cranberry Glass Silver Plate Epergne C1880 Eagle Base J Dixon
For sale is this unusual Victorian glass epergne with silver plated base that dates to around 1880. The makers mark to the base is for James Dixon& Sons. A company based in Sheffield started in 1829 that continued to make quality works into the 1920's after which the company was taken over by William Hutton& Sons. This has an unusual base that depicts an eagle standing on a rock. Really well proportioned with a stunning cranberry flute. The glass is a beautiful rich pink. There are a couple of sharp points to the flutes. Not damage but the way the glass cooled when made. It also has the air bubbles you'd expect to see in hand made old glass. No damage. Excellent condition. The base shows minor signs of wear and age but again no damage. Overall stands an impressive 53.5cm 21 inches tall. Rare Victorian Cranberry Glass Epergne C1880 4 Flute
For sale is this large and stunning Victorian glass epergne that dates to around 1880. Above the base is a tall centre flute. This is surrounded by three smaller flutes. The detail is superb as shown in lots of pictures below. Stands an impressive 20 inches 51cm tall with the base being 10 inches 26cm wide. The condition is very good with one small chip to the rim of one of the smaller flutes. Within the glass are the usual swirls and bobbles you expect in blown glass of this age(we have shown these in the photos) A great addition to any glass collection or a stunning centre piece for any room. Victorian Epergne Cranberry Satin Art Glass w/Controlled Bubble & Enameling
Piece: Victorian Epergne-Controlled Bubbles On Both Glass Pieces Maker: Unknown Late 1800's-Early 1900's Condition: Excellent condition with no chips or cracks to glass. All enameling intact. With two tiny Enameled dots on horn showing some darkening with age. All other enameling excellent with little to no wear and good color. A small amount of wear on glass plate center where metal piece sits on that area-this is not excessive and is expected on a good fit when screwed in place-does not wobble. Glass is satin with unusual controlled bubbles design in glass-lovely crimped dark cranberry edges blending to a lighter cranberry in center. Metal is impressed EPNS and it looks like X359 hand marked on bottom as well. No ugly plate loss. Metal shines up nice with very little wear to mention and nothing that would detract from beauty of ... morethe piece. Cranberry colored at the top and changes to vaseline at the bottom. Base is a wonderful brass cherub holder for the glasss. Measures 10 1/4" tall. In good condition. Antique 3 of 4 Pieces Epergne Etched Glass Cranberry Decorated Stem for Parts
The auction is for an antique etched glass 3 of 4 piece epergne serving piece. The base bowl is totally broken and unrepairable. The photo is just to see how the piece looks when it is complete. Your are buying this for Parts. You are buying the 3 top pieces which include the center stem that has a cranberry color decorated swirled in the center of the glass. It 12 1/2" tall including the stopper that goes in the base bowl. The center colored part is 8 1/2" tall and in in excellent condition. The top etched bowl is 6 1/2" in diameter and 1 1/4" deep and is in good condition with 1 small flea bite on the other edge. The top etched fluted piece is 8" tall and 3 1/2" at the top.
