There are also 3 slightly ... morelarger pavers from the same site included. These beautiful antique bricks have some pinks. Reds, orange and purples in the clay they made them with that still show nicely. North central Piedmont NC made brick, possibly hand made, no stamped name. These brick would make great accent pavers to a walkway or landscape project with other masonry products. They are approx. 8"x4"x2.5" and weigh about 5 lbs. each. The 4x8 surfaces are clean and I removed almost all the mortar also. Some of the tar from the flashing still shows on some of the 2.5x8 sides and white paint, not really visible in a paver application. They are on a small pallet and ready to go. The last picture shows the additional bricks I added to the side of the pallet. Free local pick up or making other shipping arrangements(try U-Ship) With the pallet they weigh approx. 390 lbs. 3 Salt Glazed Antique Brick Pavers
Up for your consideration is a lot of three antique brick pavers. Two are of the Nelsonville Block variety and the other is a Hallwood Block Pat. These bricks came out of a new ally construction in the Old Italian Village in Columbus Ohio. Bricks are in overall decent condition with some chipping around edges and little specs of cement and asphalt spotting. All three are visually appealing and appear to be salt glazed. Made by Nelsonville Brick Co. Located in Nelsonville, Ohio from 1880 to 1937. AT the 1904 World's Fair. The'Nelsonville Block' was named the world's most durable brick. Star pattern bricks were used ManyYears ago to pave sidewalks and Streets. The bricks held up well because they were salt glazed and baked twice. This prevents water. Ice and snow from getting into cracks, causing them to freeze, thaw. And break apart. These Bricks are perfect for Fireplace. Patio's or just setting around.
