I have included a lot of pictures because this sample book is in rough condition. It is VERY OLD& it's dirty! I have not attempted to clean it whatsoever. I will leave that up to the buyer. I think that the samples themselves could be cleaned up quite nicely with an upholstery cleaner. The metal binding& the staples that affix the little tags to each sample are rusty. Therefore there are rust marks/stains on the fabric throughout the book. Condition of samples: there are some rough spots, stains, and some of the outer stitching is coming apart on a few. The upper left of the black part that reads"Slumber Chair Cover Samples" is not there. Vintage Dresser with Hutch Ethan Allen Early American Solid Maple and Birch Wood
This is a beautiful painted. Distressed 3 Drawer Chest with Hutch, dated from the late 1940s to the early 1950s. It is a well constructed, Solid Maple and Birch Wooden piece made by Ethan Allen in the Early American Style. The drawers were manufactured or made to look as though there are 7 drawers. But in actual fact, there are 3 drawers. The top drawer is one shallow drawer with a narrow divider on the right inside. The second is a deeper drawer with three dividers on the inside for socks and underwear. The third drawer is also a deep drawer with no dividers on the inside. Please refer to the pictures above to get a better idea of what the drawers look like on the inside) It has recently been hand painted with Tavern Green Milk Paint and Graphite Chalk Paint of the top and behind the selves. Maple Ethan Allen Heirloom Comb Back Chairs Traditional Early American Nutmeg
Listing this evening a nice pair of Ethan Allen Heirloom Comb Back chairs in very good condition. The chair number is 10-6040(hard to read in the photos) manufactured in plant#14 in the popular nutmeg color. These are mates chairs and although they have those little stubby"arms" they are not to be confused with the actual captain's chairs of this style that have much longer arms. These were produced for a number of years by Ethan Allen for a few of their lines including Traditional and Early American. There is no damage to the chairs and only a few tiny dings or scratches from normal use. There is very light wear to the very tips of the top rails and tips of the"arms" All the joints are nice and tight. They are in the popular nutmeg color and the finish is very good. All joints are tight and strong. They are 29 1/2" ... moretall with a 17" seat height. The height of those stubby"arms" is only 25 1/4" so these chairs can be tucked tightly under the apron of most tables. Leaving more floor space in a smaller dining area. This Dresser with Mirror is in very good original condition. And it has a medium/dark red/brown Cherry/Mahogany stain finish color. This classic Dresser has drawers that are made of solid wood on the inside. See pictures, and they are working properly. This wonderful Dresser has vertical doors on the front with drawers inside.
