It has 2 porcelain angels on top sharing a green garland. It has its own stand and rests on 2 balled feet with a hanger on the back for wall hanging. The frame is beautiful with a little pink bow at the bottom. Several porcelain roses and leaves, an colorful inner border. One angel has pink robe and the other has blue. The details of the faces is exquisite. There are the usual chips to the roses, a small crack on one foot, a pindot to one foot and a pindot to one wing. There is fading of the gold accents. In any case, the sculpture is well executed and detailed. The gesso frame is two tiered with ornate scallops, scrolls, acanthus leaves and fan/shell decorations on the corners. Up for auction today is this Beautiful Antique Victorian Large Gilt Ormolu Cast iron and Brass Easel Back Mirror. The piece measures 11 1/2" wide. And is 9 1/4" tall. The mirror itself measures 7 1/2" wide by 5 1/4" tall. It has a 1/2" beveled edge in the mirror. There is appropriate age wear to the silvering, but nothing bad or detracting. The entire piece is Adorned with 3 Cherubs one at the Top and one on Each Side. The easel back is solid Brass, probably done that way because of the strength needed for support. There is a No. on the back which I have taken a photo of, it is no. 546, and this Mirror was probably made by Jennings Brothers, or Bradley and Hubbard. It is done very well and the Gilt Ormolu is dark and rich with very little if any wear to it. This Mirror was very well cared for. No breaks, or chips ... moreor dents. And very heavy. Ornately designed free standing mirror which appears to be brass. No markings. But beautifully done. Since this is an item from an estate I can not say it's age or maker. I was told it is a vintage piece. It stands 22" high and 12" wide. Very detailed in it's design. The cherub at the top is attached with a screw as a separate piece. And has a bit of play which can be remedied by tightening the screw I imagine. The mirror fits in with small holders similar to how a picture is fitted to a frame. It has a few small black dots and a line showing wear to the back of the mirror. Easily replaced. Beautiful vintage design. Marked B&H with the number 3581 so I am assuming that it's by Bradley& Hubbard. The metal is very heavy and a magnet sticks to it. So I'm guessing that it's cast iron. I am not sure that the gold finish is original but it looks like it. Mirror is nicely beveled and in very good condition, just a tiny bit of the silver is missing. I'm not sure that the easel is original and it is only attached to the frame with a heavy wire, however it does fit all it needs is a small bolt and nut. The back of the middle panel is covered with a leather-style board. This mirror sits elevated on 4 decorative little feet, and is finished off with brass scrollwork along the top of the central panel, and a heavy chain for hanging. The hinges operate smoothly, and the mirror can be displayed in folded form in tight spaces. Fully opened, measures ~13in tall X 33&1/2in wide, with a 13in long chain for hanging. This is an antique brass swivel table vanity/makeup/shaving mirror with a cherub and shell motif. There are 3 cherubs sitting among scrolling leaves and 2 acorn knobs to tilt the mirror. The mirror stands 13.25" high and 12" wide from acorn tip to acorn tip. This lovely mirror is in very good condition. Some of the embossed brass has been worn down by use and age. Most noticeably in the half shell on the bottom. The backing is a brown velvet that has discolored(see photos) All slot screws are present holding the mirror onto the frame. Antique Vanity Mirror Cherubs Brass Colored Cast Iron Vintage
Here is an antique oval vanity mirror with an ornate cast iron frame featuring five cherubs. Flowers, and other designs. It measures 11.5 inches wide and 9.5 inches high; the bevelled mirror is 6.5 by 5 inches. It is marked"309" on the back, but has no other maker's mark. I think this originally had an easel stand on the back so it could sit on the dresser top. But someone has modified it to hang instead. The front of the frame is painted a brass color(the picture of the whole mirror represents the true color better than the closeups) it has lost minor amounts of paint. The mirror reflects well, but has some scratches and spots.

Antique wood carved guilt mirror with cherubs,French, Italian, Venetian?
My wife inherited this mirror from her mother 30 years ago. It does not go with our cabin decor(obviously) so she has decided to sell. It has been kept in climate controlled storage. The exterior dimensions are: 28"H X 22"W. Interior(mirror) is: 17"H X 12 and 3/4"W. It was apparently restored many years ago. It is very old as the patina on the wood in back and the hook hanger show. Do not know the era or style- 18th. Or 19th Century or Rocco, French, Italian, or Venetian. It is a nice shape with an oval mirror and a wonderful size. It is metal and has a very ornate frame. There are three precious winged cherubs at the top and one on each side. The mirror itself is oval with a wide bevel. It has silver loss. Ghosting, spotting and streaking for a very desirable look.
