There is one spot in the bottom right corner where the mica is a slight bit more fragile and flaky than the rest of the lamp but generally feels solid to the touch. UNUSUAL ANTIQUE LAMP WITH TWO TONE METAL DESIGN & GORGEOUS MICA SHADE
GORGEOUS ANTIQUE INLAID METAL LAMP WITH MICA SHADE This lamp with its matching mica shade is all original and it dates from around the 1920's to the 1930's and has a very stylish design! The lamp base has a lacquered finish that has quite a bit of wear and has deteriorated. It also shows some rust coming through. The base is made to look inlaid but I think it is some type of stained process. I am not really sure how that was made or what would happen if the deteriorated lacquer was cleaned up. The shade has 6 panels that are very dark and dirty from age and a few spots show pealing but all the panels are in good solid condition with no breaks or damage. The lamp has a nice Art Deco finial that is made of iron. This lamp measures 25" high by 16" wide in diameter. A wonderful lamp to add to your home decor! Thanks for looking.

It was made in China circa 1890-1910 according to the dealer I bought it from many years ago. Antique marble arts & crafts era footed lamp with original mica shade
This is a beautiful tall. Heavy marble footed table lamp with original mica shade. It is in extraordinarily good condition for its age. It has been rewired and both sockets are in full working order. i paid $1500 for this several years ago but have scaled down to a much smaller home. this is a real beauty. 32 inches tall from base to finial.the base is 11 inches wide. Art Nouveu Sexy Lady Table Lamp with shades circa 1900. Measures 17" high and approx. 13" wide with the shades. I'm not sure if the lamp is brass or pot-metal. The leaves appear to be brass plated metal. The shades appear to be made out of white Mica. It appears to have one maple leaf missing on the right extension that holds the shade, but to me the lamp overall is in excellent condition and is beautiful. At the top is an elegant scrolled double-arm and crystal bobeches. The bobeches are elegantly adorned with beaded sparkling crystals. The lamp has two lights that can hold up to a 60watt light bulb each. The lamp has been restored and rewired. Included are two amber mica lamp shades that look awesome when lighted! Vintage Ceramic Lamp with Original Mica Shade - Beautiful!
Vintage Ceramic Lamp with Original Mica Shade This vintage lamp stands approx. 17 inches tall. Ceramic base is a faceted ball shape with a crackle finish in a cream white glaze. When I found this lamp. 20 years ago or so, the ceramic bottom of the lamp was broken out. I mended it using the lid of a tin can with a hole drilled through the center. See photos. All other parts are original and the lamp is in working condition. There is no other damage to the lamp base. The 8-sided mica shade measures 16 1/2 inches across. Flat edge to flat edge and is 8 1/4 inches tall. It has a few flakes here and there but is in excellent condition overall and is really solid. We will double box and insure this item for shipping. Up for consideration is a vintage Louis XVI Ram heads lamp with hoofs and marble base. The lamp measures 27 inches. No finial. The lamp has 6 larger sockets.and an on off switch at the base. The very bottom is made of green marble the center of the lamp is terracotta and the upper assembly is a mixture of metals. There probably was a extension from the center not upwards which held a shade. This really is a Neoclassical type lamp. It is very heavy and rather large. It probably had a Mica shade. Antique Arts & Crafts Period Mica and Oak Table Lamp
Here we have a very exceptional. Original Arts& Crafts period table lamp with striking features. It incorporates mica panels framed in copper, secured by appealing rivets. The base has felt attached to the bottom to avoid damaging any surface its placed on, and the stem of the lamp is also framed with the same copper found on the shade. The oak finish remains smooth and attractive. This is an electrified converted oil lamp, hence the glass chimney. The original cap where the oil would be filled into is missing, though aside from that and the damage to the base of the burner which can be seen in the photographs, this lamp is in absolutely excellent condition. Art Deco motifs with Arts& Crafts sensibilities– the craftsmen who made this stunning lamp blended the styles with grace and skill. This floor lamp would be perfect next to an easy chair. The light flows down. Highlighting a book or project, and the tray keeps drinks and TV remotes in easy reach. It has a small footprint– 13” x 12. The cast iron base has a basket of flowers and shell-like segments. You can still see some of the original peacock iridescent paint. But most has worn off. The column is made of three slender pieces rising from four acanthus leaves. Two of the pieces are wrought iron. The center piece is a brass tube ending in a socket. There is an octagonal tray 27.5” from the floor. It has an ash tray and lighter– the lighter does not work. The tray is held by large cast acanthus leaves– most of the original peacock iridescent ... morepaint is still there. About 15” above the tray. The three piece column separates. The center tube continue straight up, ending in the socket. The two wrought iron pieces bend out, then angle up to form a triangle. The triangle is topped by an iridescent, Chinoiserie-style dragon. The octagonal mica shade hangs within this triangle. The shade is a little wider than deep so it fits flatter within the triangle. It has"The Crest Co Chicago" stamped on it. The mica is held by copper wires soldered in a web-like pattern– please see the pictures. The bronze/darkened brass top has an intricate heart pattern cutout. It's in very good condition for its age.
