We are very pleased to offer this Edward Miller& Co. Meriden, Conn. Oil or Kerosene Banquet Lamp. Font. This Font has never been electrified and has the original Burner and Shade Holder. It is Brass and. Again, has never been electrified. The Burner is marked on the top of the Flame Spreader with the Miller Logo. The oil filler cap is not marked. The Wick lifter does work and moves easily up and down. Please see the photos that show it in the up position and in the down position. The Font top is highly embossed and in one section is marked: THE MILLER LAMP. On the inside column that holds the flame spreader there are the following Patent Dates; PATD. NOV. 18'90; MAY 29'92; APR. 24'96; JUNE 4'92; APR. 4'93 AND MAY 2'93. 1898 Edward Miller Brass Ornate Banquet Converted Oil Lamp with Fenton Shade
This is an Awesome RARE Find! A 1898 E. M. Co. Apollo Dual Burner" Very Ornate Serpent Footed Oil Lamp that has been Converted to Electric and Matched with a Fenton Milk Glass and Blue Ruffle Edged Hobnail Shade. I researched this and only found the burner itself on Treasurenet. com- its authentic but the crown for the wicks has been burrowed out to include the lighting mechanism and the wick turner as shown in picture#11 is only cosmetic right now. The Apollo Dual Burner Brass Body is beyond Spectacular. The craftsmanship is like none other I have seen. It has 3 serpent feet on Crowned Pillars that attached to a heavily patterned Body that can be turned. Etched deep into the pewter colored Burner Body's Bottom Half are leaves and raised swirls( picture 4) Rims of circular star bursts and in its center, on ALL 3 Sides is a LIONS ... moreHEAD( see picture 5) The Top Half has beautiful circles of raised Leaves and then Spades, set off with ornate rims on the top and bottom of this half of the burner. The actual burner of this 1898 Oil Lamp has been converted to electric- I have taken a detailed picture- 8. That shows the former rims for the oil burner and chimney holder. In the conversion process, an owner added a chain pull to switch the light on and off. This does impede the placement of a chimney as it will cover the pull chain. I have placed a 7 1/2 inch clear chimney inside the GORGEOUS FENTON HOBNAIL Shade. It is a Milk Glass Beauty with widely spaced Hobnails and an Ornate sky blue Turned Down Ruffle Edge with a 4 7/8 inch rimmed bottom that fits nicely into the 5 1/8 inch metal burner rim. This lamp stands approximately 15 1/2 inches tall including the shade and it is 9 inches tall from the serpent feet to the top of the lighting mechanism. It is in wonderful condition. Antique Duplex banquet Parlor Piano Brass Lamp oil Cast Iron Floor satin shade
I have lots of vintage lighting items listed and more added all the time. This is a great lamp with a beautiful satin glass shade and the shade has no chips or cracks it will have wear and some ring roughness that they all have. The outer shade does have the original brass ring at the top which the inner shade sticks up through. This like most of these has been electrified so you can safely use it today. Some people do convert these back to oil burning and you would have to replace a few pieces to do that but not that hard you can buy the burners and parts on ebay. It has cherry blossom embossed floral motifs the burner is eagle and it measures 20 or 19.5 to burner and with the chimney it's 28in the bottom is solid brass very heavy with footed and it's about 7inches and the font is 21inches around, it's in great condition I bought it several years ago on ebay. ANTQ banquet embossed brass oil lamp electric marked Rd No 296966 patina 21"
Great old oil lamp shape. 21" tall from base to bottom of harp + 12" harp and original finial. The base measures about 7 1/2" in diameter, the oil vessel is about 6 1/2" D. The top is decorated with embossed flowers and bows, the column is twisted and has stylized leaves embossed into the flat surfaces. The base has a swirling design which flows very nicely from the turning column shape. The lamp has been rewired. It's not entirely clear that it was not designed for electricity. In the time when electricity was new, some lamps were designed to look like the old classics, so they were made to imitate oil and gas lamps. Since there is a hole at the base for a wire and the harp and finial look like they totally belong it could be argued that it was designed that way. The cap where the oil would have been poured in to ... morethe vessel is stationary. However it may have been soldered shut. CONDITION: A few spatters have dotted the patina. The lamp has not been polished or cleaned thus the spatters remain. I believe this lamp is a very early electric lamp in the style of the oil lamps of the time. There are some places that appear to have been modified. But no matter. With a shade that will emphasize its elegance, it will be a lovely addition in the right corner. This is a stunning antique winged cherub/putti figural lamp made by Bradley& Hubbard and marked B&H 19065 on the bottom. This lamp was originally an oil lamp but was converted to electric at some point. It has a brass cut out ornate filigree globe that is 10" with a white frosted globe under it that measures 9" The brass filigree globe shade opens up halfway in the middle with a clasp. It also has a clear hurricane in the middle. This is a nice size banquet lamp measuring 32" high to the top of the hurricane and 28 1/2" high to the top of the brass globe. The base measures 6" by 6" and it is also very ornately detailed. It is in very good condition with no breaks or cracks to the metal work or glass. This lamp will be shipped disassembled somewhat and will reassemble easily.

This is a stunning lamp and pictures just don't do it justice but be sure to look at all of them as they are part of this description. This is an oil lamp that has been converted to electricity with the on/off switch on the cord. The center cranberry or ruby glass portion has 1" x 2" panels all around it and sits on top a brass shaft atop a really solid ceramic base. The original knobs on the brass burner both have a sailing ship etched in them. The shade is a frosted globe with a brass looking rim and measures 10" high and 9" in diameter. The shade is the widest part and it stands 29" tall to the top of the chimney. It is extremely heavy. Up for auction is this beautiful all brass banquet 26" high oil lamp that has been converted to electric. The 7" diameter brass bowl has a raised all-around floral casting on top of a rope-turned stem and 7 1/2" four legged scroll base. The removable font has been drilled to allow the electrical wiring to pass thru it and out the side of the bowl where there is also a hole drill. The electrical receptacle takes a 1" bulb insert. The wiring inside the font has been cut so additional wiring is needed to fully electrify the lamp and plug it into a wall outlet. A most unusual antique. Circa 1890's, brass banquet lamp base with applied sculptural winged griffin handles and fancy scroll feet. It was designed to hold a ball shade, but now has a shade ring to accommodate a tam-o-shanter or half moon shade. It was in the past converted to electric, now missing the interior burner. As presented it measures 16" tall by 12-1/2" diameter at feet. The original shade ring will accept a 4" diameter fitter rim shade, the removable added shade ring a 10" diameter fitter rim shade. Base is excellent condition: mild original patina, three teeny dimple tents to font shoulder.

The upper shade is matte finish frosted antique white glass with a decorative raised embossed pattern and decorative scalloped rim- there is no damage or repair. Antique Black Porcelain Banquet Table Urn Lamp -- 41½" Tall with Brass Claw Feet
This distinctively formal and very elegant electric table lamp appears to be made mostly of porcelain and brass with steel arms for the two horizontally placed bulb holders. The porcelain section is black. With what I believe to be hand-painted striping and decorations(although they could be part decal, part hand done) and the whole effect is that of a very tall classical or Grecian urn. The stepped brass base is square, with claw feet extending at the corners. It works. And I've used it frequently over the years, and the exposed section of the wiring looks to be in good and intact condition. Please note, however, that there are no bulbs included, since they rarely survive shipping, and we are also not including a shade because it would probably end up being shipped separately anyway. I haven't tried to clean it up or shine up the ... morebrass parts, I thought I'd leave that up to you. I've looked it over pretty thoroughly and I don't see any manufacturer identification on it. I also have no idea how old it is. But if the weight is anything to go by, it's not only old but also very high quality. Apart from a missing bell handle from one of the pull chains, it seems to be in perfect condition, although the metal parts are showing an expected amount of oxydization from age. To give you an idea of dimensions. The base is about 8" x 8" measured at the tips of the claw feet, and the height from the table to the top of the finial is about 41½" The finial alone is 4" tall, and the porcelain urn measures about 7"across at the widest point and 19" in height from the top step of the base to the bottom of the multi-part brass column above. The wick turning knobs on one are marked Paris in a banner with two flaming torches and a sun. The turning knob on the other has an 8-point star. The bases are turned brass with cabochon carved alabaster hand grips at center. The bases can be used alone as traditional candle stick holders. The green glass oil receptacles are hand blown with a light swirl and they glow fluorescent under black light. Thus being vaseline glass. THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL PATINA BRADLEY& HUBBARD CONVERTED OIL BANQUET LAMP WITH A GORGEOUS HAND PAINTED GLOBE SHADE BRASS TOP FITTING AND HAND PAINTED ROSES. WORKS AND LOOKS BEAUTIFUL. IT IS SIGNED BOTH ON THE RESERVOIR IN FRONT AND ALSO ON THE BASE. COULD EASILY BE CONVERTED BACK TO OIL BY REPLACING THE RESERVOIR. IT HAS APPLIED CHERUB DESIGN AROUND THE CENTER. A very fine antique. Circa 1890's, Bradley& Hubbard banquet lamp. The pierced cast iron foot has a fine brass finish, the column stem of onyx, the capitol of brass supporting the pierced brass font holder and font. Original brass burner and shade holder, never electrified. The hand painted milk glass shade is not original. No chimney included. Lamp measures with shade 28" tall by 6-1/2" square at feet, the shade alone 9-3/4" tall. Excellent condition: brass without breaks or dents, original finish without tarnish or verdigris spots. Onyx column with horizontal fissure half way across- not damage. Shade without damage.

Here is a fantastic 33 inch tall brass banquet lamp with a red satin ball shade. The font holder is cast brass(not iron) with a cherubs motif. The lamp has been electrified. But the cord is gone after the bottom of the center draft font. Antique Rare Heavy Bronze or Brass Cherub Putti Parlor Banquet Lamp Exquisite
Wow this is probably one of the most exquisite cherub lamps that has ever been offered on ebay. This lamp is being offered for sale from a private collection. I have never been able to find it's mate on eBay in all the years I have been a lamp collector. This lamp would have been found in an afflunt Victorian era home. The lamp is 10 and 7/8 in in diameter at the base and 38 inches in height. I am not sure if this lamp is brass or bronze but pretty sure it is bronze. I have taken many pictures of the lamp to display the tail of the serpent that the cherub is trying to spear however his spear that runs between his hands is missing. I am not an expert on bronze repair however I do believe the the right arm has been repaired close to the shoulder professionally. I do see 3 small holes in the back of the lamp where possibly small flowers ... morewould be missing The lamp has so much detail including the stand up flower. The curved feet and detailing. Please I also urge you to study the pictures closely for any repairs I may have missed. The lamp has been wired for electric and a hole has been drilled through the glass font so should you decide to convert back to oil you will need to replace the glass font.The lamp is extremely heavy so shipping will reflect the weight and packaging.
