They are stoneware pottery in a traditional style of bright cobalt blue and other colors. I believe this is a Peacock pattern. The tallest piece stands 2 5/8" tall and the shaped vase is 2 3/8" tall. The vases were made by Gerbing& Stephan who were prolific makers of majolica and other ceramic wares in Austria/Bohemia. 2 Antique 19th C Chinese Export Vases Covered Urns Fortis In Bello Stoneware OLD
This is a lovely matched pair of very old antique Chinese covered urns.They have lovely florals and green with scroll work. There is gold trim as well. There are a coat of arms with a lions. It says Fortis In Bello. I have done some research and this means. Strength in both Faith And War. The ceramic is a very hard heavy stoneware type pottery. They are about 10 1/2 inches tall to the top of lids. They are almost 15 inches around at the widest part. The bases are just under 3 inches across. They are in excellent condition with minor wear. I find no chips or cracks.There is some crazing. They are marked on the bottom as shown I am unable to read the marks.I estimate these are 19th C or older. I am not an expert on Chinese antiques. So please ask questions. Very, very beautiful! These come from the estate of an antiques dealer who passed away ... moremany years ago. Her family had them in storage for many years. Set of 3 Vintage Seymour Mann Stoneware Jars, Canisters, or Vases
This is a really nice set of 3 vintage Seymour Mann stoneware jars. They are beautifully decorated with brown speckles and brown and blue stripes. The bottom is marked"JAPAN. The small and medium jars are in perfect condition with no chips. Cracks, or scratches. The large jar has an interior chip approximately in the middle of the vessel that measures an estimated 3/8" A long crack radiates upward from the chip to just below the rim, downward from the chip to the top of the lowest brown stripe, and outward about 1" The crack wraps halway around the jar, but curves back inward at the top and the bottom. As a result, the crack appears to be fairly stable. The crack is only visible on close inspection. I didn't notice it for quite a while. The chip is visible on the outside and is tiny(1/8" x 1/16" See detail photo. ... moreThe chip is located just above the second brown stripe. There is also a manufacturing flaw on the neck of the jar in which the glaze did not cover an area about 1/4" square. Please see detail photo for a picture of the chip and crack. Vintage Retro Pair of Royal Doulton Stoneware Vases
This pair of Royal Doulton stoneware vases is 11 inches tall. They are signed on the bottom with the mark that was used from 1902 to 1922. The number 1690 and T 567 is also stamped on the bottom. One of the vases is in excellent condition. The other has been professionally repaired. The one with the repairs has a half-inch spot on one side where glue can be seen where it has yellowed.

Trio of Stoneware Wall Pocket Vases - Takahashi - Made in Japan
Offered is this trio of stoneware wall pocket vases. In a groggy stoneware clay. The top two-thirds are glazed in what appears to be a salt glaze. Each sports a decal of orange flowers with green stems and leaves. 4 1/4 inches tall and 3 inches wide. Two have round stickers on the bottom indicating they are by Takahashi and Made in Japan. Neither of those appear to have ever been used. The third one has no sticker and has some stains from use and a price of 50¢ written in ink on the back. I am guessing the owner of the other two found one like other at a garage sale or similar. All are in great condition: two in mint condition. The third in excellent condition. These are a superb and original pair of Fulham Pottery vases of which: During our research we have been informed they originate from the 19th century. Dating about c1880. Underneath the incised Fulham Pottery mark of the said period with: the incised monogram of C. J. Bailey. Superb decoration to the circumferences of the vases with the different designs and the decoration of enamelling. Wonderful shapes with both having an overall height of about 10.5i nches. Max dias of about 5.25inches. Base dias of about 2.75inches with similar to the rims. Condition. Considering the age, the overall condition to one is excellent and is not subject to any major blemishes. These are lovely and I didn't want to separate them. The larger one is in hues of gold. Blues to blacks in one part To deeper golds to blacks with red peaking through. It measures 14" by 8" with a 3"2/8" opening at the top. This pair of Ingrid Atterberg vases. 4 1/2" tall and 2 3/4" wide each, has a rare olive green glaze. Within the color, there are light blue and yellow highlights. Up for auction is a pair of hand thrown large urns or vases/ They are stoneware with a heavy glaze that has many different shades and hues depending on the light. Different light shows a completely different pot The colors change with the light. They are two different sizes: The larger one is 14" by 8" with a 3" 2/8 opening at the top. The smaller one is:12.5" by 7" and the opening at the top is 3.5" They are very heavy and weigh a lot About 8-10 pounds apiece. They are both signed by the same artist and compliment each other so beautifully that I did not want to break up the set. 2 Zanesville Stoneware Pottery Company Gloss Green 2 Handle Vases p/o Jon Rans!
This is a Home Run for Zanesville Collectable Pottery Two outstanding Pieces of Vintage Zanesville Pottery by the Zanesville Stoneware Company. Ohio. Bought from the estate of famed Pottery Expert Jon Rans, the man who literally wrote the Book on Zanesville Pottery(and co-wrote many of other pottery books) These pieces of art were first hand picked by Jon for his own collection, and then by myself from some of his best cherished items. Glazed& fired in rich Turquoise Greens& Browns these two double handled vases make a perfect pair. I bought them together and prefer to sell them that way out of respect for the previous owner. The taller vase is approx. 8 inches high by 6 1/2 wide at handle ends(792) and weighs about 3 pounds. The smaller vase is about 6 inches high. by 6 1/2 wide at handles(827) and weighs approx. 2 3/4 pounds. Like ... morealmost all hand made pottery. They have the normal glaze bubbles, stand marks from firing, and other hand made production variations, but they appear to be exactly as it came out of the stove many decades ago. No chips. Scratches, crazing or other. Nice heavy glaze. I took multiple pictures for your consideration and from every angle. NOTE: The taller vase has a small glaze skip on the bottom, visible in pictures. It is not a chip, it is from original casting and has glaze shine over it, jut not color. I knew someone would ask. If you are a serious collector.
