SILVER FLOWER VASE Presented is a beautiful ... moresilver small vase. This piece dates to the late 1800s or early 1900s and is probably of Indian origin. The vase features lovely chased designs of palm trees. Lions, oxen, and birds, very nicely done. The rim of the vase is done in the form of flower petals, and the base is decorated with lotus leaf designs. The base is weighted for stability and has a felted bottom. This piece is tested and guaranteed at least 800 purity silver. The vase is in great condition. The details of the designs on the exterior are quite crisp. And the interior is clean. There are no splits, no dents, no breaks and no repairs. The vase stands about 7 1/8 inches tall. The vase weighs 185 grams. Considering the weighting in the base not all of this weight is sterling silver. But the majority of it is. Good luck and bid with confidence. Very nice classically sprigged and engine turned early 1800s stoneware jug
We are listing this classically sprigged and engine turned blue and white felspathic stoneware jug from the early 1800s. Although the jug is unmarked it is very well sprigged and decorated. So the maker was one of the better potters of that time period. The jug is 4.5 inches tall, over 5 inches at its widest point, and in very good condition. There are a couple of flakes under the front of the spout and two or three small flaws under the glaze(see the close up pictures) but this is a very nice 200 year old jug. Nice early 1800s Georgian brightly glazed classically sprigged stoneware jug
We are listing this nice early 1800s brightly glazed stoneware jug with well done classical sprigs which are different than those commonly seen on these jugs. The jug is also ring turned below the sprigging and quite impressive looking. It is 5 inches tall. 8 inches at its widest point, and in very good condition. There are typical minor separation cracks in the sprigging, some staining/residue around the inside of the jug, and a hairline inside the spout, but none of this detracts from the visual beauty of this jug(see the close up pictures) We can currently only accept bids on this from the United States. Very nice little early 1800s brown and white glazed and sprigged stoneware jug

And two different scenes of two classical women standing at an alter on the sides. In addition to the sprigging the jug features a very nice foliate terminal handle and engine turning around the base(largely filled in with glaze) The jug is less than 3 inches tall, less than 4 inches at its widest point, and in excellent condition. Nice early 1800s Georgian blue & white glazed and sprigged stoneware jug
We are listing this nice early 1800s blue and white glazed stoneware jug with decorative bands around the rim. Three large classical sprigs, and ring turning above the base. The two side sprigs are from ancient mythology, but I do not know their meaning. The jug is 5 inches tall, almost 7.5 inches at its widest point, and displays very well. It does have minor flaws- slight rubbing on the spout, a couple of missing beads on the upper decorative bands, and a couple of separation lines on the sprigging(as well as crazing inside the jug, and thin hairlines on the bottom) but these do not detract from the visual effect of this old jug. Please view the close up pictures and judge for yourself. We can currently only accept bids on this from the United States. The United Kingdom, and Canada. Nice mid to late 1800s European glazed and classically sprigged stoneware vase
We are listing this nice glazed and classically sprigged vase. Which is in the English Georgian style of the early 1800s, but I suspect was made later in the 1800s in either France or Germany(it is unmarked) It has two nicely done classical mythology sprigs, as well as other bands of decorative sprigging. It also has two lion's head fake ring handles(which, to put it bluntly, are rather unusual looking) The vase is 6 inches tall, 3.5 inches wide, and in very good condition(a little rubbing on the lion handles) Please view the close up pictures and judge for yourself. Very nice early 1800s Georgian Castleford style white stoneware sugar bowl & lid
We are listing this very nice early 1800s Georgian Castleford-style white stoneware sugar bowl and lid. Most of these pieces are unmarked and this one is no exception(there is only an inscribed letter x on the bottom of the bowl) But has the characteristics of a Castleford piece. It is finely potted in a somewhat translucent stoneware(the delicate nature of these pieces leaves most surviving ones damaged) with nicely detailed classical mythology sprigs on the sides and further decorative patterns over most of the rest of the bowl and lid, along with blue trim highlights. The finial on the lid is very decorative, and unusually appears to be undamaged- most end up broken off and glued back on. The bowl with the lid is 5.5 inches tall, 5.25 inches across, and in very good condition for such a delicate 200 year old piece. There are a couple of ... morethin hairlines on one corner of the bowl, a tiny flake off the bottom rim, and one little area of roughness on the top rim. Please view the closeup pictures and judge for yourself. This is a very pretty example of 200 year old delicately potted stoneware. We can currently only accept bids on this from the United States. The United Kingdom, and Canada. Shipping to the United Kingdom and Canada will be charged at cost. Payment must be made by Paypal within three days of the auction ending. Nice early 1800s Georgian highly glazed classically sprigged stoneware jug
We are listing this nice early 1800s Georgian highly glazed stoneware jug which is sprigged with a band of leaves and grapes below the rim. And has a series of classical mythology sprigs around the body(with ring turning below that down to the base) The sprigs are nicely done, although the heavy glaze fills in some of the details, and the rim has been gilded as well. The piece is unmarked(except for an impressed O) but obviously it was produced by a very competent potter. It is 4.25 inches tall, 6.5 inches at its widest point, and in very good condition. There is wear to the gilding(particularly at the spout) and some speckled glaze on the bottom. Please view the closeup pictures and judge for yourself. Very nice mid 1800s Harding sprigged and engine turned glazed stoneware jug
We are listing this very nice mid 1800s engine turned and highly glazed brown stoneware jug with a band of blue floral sprigging around the body. But I have never found a record of a pottery with that mark(although several Hardings were prominent in English potteries during the 1850s) The piece is over 4.5 inches tall, 5.25 inches at its widest point, and in excellent condition.
