Beautifully Decorated Stoneware Jug
Up for auction today I am offering a Beautifully painted large stoneware jug. This piece has a beautifully painted blue design on the side and mouth of jug with rings around the bottom. I am not sure of the manufacturer or date of manufacture but It is marked and I have included a picture of the mark. It does appear to be a more recent production piece. This was acquired from an estate sale that offered many pieces of art and paintings from Russia and Eastern Block countries so it might have originated from that area.There are also pictures of the jug with a measuring tape to show size of the piece. It measures 16" tall and 10" wide. Has slight yellowing on top 1/2 of jug. No chips or cracks. See photos to see condition as they are my main description. Item will be shipped insured. Macomb Pottery Jug Beautifully aged glaze crazing/crackle 5 1/2" x 4 1/2" Unique
Macomb Pottery Jug. I do not know the exact age but the crazing of the glaze shows it's age. It has a greyish tone to it. It is not brown or cream color. Very Unique and rare size and shape. The bottom is marked with incised letters MACOMB POTTERY MACOMB ILL. Their are a few small chips on the bottom rim, and I am not sure if the spot on the front is from the firing of this piece, but it is not a crack or chip. You can run your finger over it and feel that it sticks out slightly and is rough. Great Vintage Condition. Size: 5 1/2" x 4 1/2" Thank you for visiting. Superb Antique Scottish Silver Cream Jug Beautifully Engraved, HM Glasgow 1866
A superb Scottish silver cream jug fully hallmarked for Glasgow 1866 with a makers mark for J Muirhead and Sons. The cream jug is of very good quality weighing an impressive 178 grammes it measures approx 9.5 cms taken from the base to the tip of the spout. and has a diameter of 7.5 cms. The jug has a gorgeous period engraved pattern with a central cartouche which has been engraved with the owners name of Louisa Agnes Scott. The interior of the jug has been gilded always a sign of quality. The condition is excellent the hallmarks are crisp as are the engraved areas. Some slight polishing marks and very slight surface scratches commensurate with age and use. It is offered without reserve and with a reasonable starting price. Beautifully Painted Vintage Tlaquepaque Pottery Water Jug- Bottle With Cup
This is a beautifully painted water jug or bottle with a cup. It is a terracotta color with brightly painted figures. The cup fits over the neck of the jug. It is in great condition. There are a few chips though. The 2 largest ones are in the bottom rim, you can see them in the photo. There are tiny chips in the paint, one on the rim of the jug, and a few in the body of the jug. There are also a few chips in the paint on the bottom of the cup. It is stamped Made in Mexico on the bottom of the jug. The jug is about 8" tall and about 7" wide at the widest part. The cup is 3.5" tall and almost 3" in diameter at the top.

Very lovely with under glaze Rococo detailing, together with ribbing detail. There is a Cobalt Blue collar upon which is Gold scrollwork. And the body is decorated with pretty Pink Dog Roses with pale Green leafage. The background is a creamy lemon blush. The handle and inside are white. Beautifully Embossed Solid Silver Edwardian Coffee Jug/ Claret Jug A truly wonderfully embossed solid silver coffee jug which could also be used as a claret jug. the jug has the most gorgeous embossed body of Acanthis leaves with flowers berries& foliage& also has a lovely reeded design that runs 3/4 of the way upto the lid& has a lovely pedestal rope twist designed base. The hinge to the lid works perfectly well& the jug is in great condition with just minor dings that are only to the pedestal base. The jug has a lovely stylised ebony handle& can easily hold a pint& a half of fluid. The jug has clean& clear hallmarks to the lid& full hallmarks near the rim. A truly superb piece that is 110 years old& a great item to use or display. Makers. Rare& Beautifully Hand Engraved Solid Silver George III Milk Jug/Cream Jug Made in London in 1808 this milk jug has the most beautiful hnd engraved design with a reeded rim& hand hammered engraving of flowers all set into a ornate design that have been so beautifully done. A jug of over 205 years old yet still in superb condition. The handle also has a lovely reeded design with forget me not kisses running all the way down to the end of the handle. The milk jug is in great condition with just one ding near the base. Hallmarks are nice& clear but makers mark worn away. A great item to add to any fine collection of quality Georgian solid silver. Here is one lovely jug pitcher from Holland. Extensive markings on the bottom show that this jug was made by Wing Works Rotterdam Holland Delfts. The tall jug measures approximately 8.5" tall x 4.25" wide. Not including handle. It has a lovely depiction of a windmill and quaint farmhouse with flowers and flans, polka dots, graphic lines and squiggles. Graphically. This piece is interesting and very pleasing. There are a few lines of crazing near the top of the bulb that I didn’t notice until close inspection. It is in lovely shape for its age and has beautiful, crisp painted decoration and shape. THE ONLY FLAWS THAT ARE NOT FROM THE MANUFACTURING PROCESS ARE SOME DISCOLORATION ON VARIOUS AREAS. SOME ROUGHNESS, TOO. THERE IS A TINY, TIGHT CRACK ON THE RIGHT TOP SIDE, AND SOME LOSS OF COLOR ON THE GREEN BAND ON THE RIM. THERE'S VERY LITTLE LOSS TO THE HOLLY DECORATION. THERE'S SOME CRAZING ON THE HANDLE. PLEASE NOTE THAT LIGHT REFLECTION MAKES THE VASE APPEAR SLIGHTLY DISCOLOURED.THIS IS THE REFLECTION.THERE IS NO DISCOLOURATION@ This auction is for a fine quality cream jug or ewer of elegant form and in the Georgian taste having profuse bands of decoration including linear striped body with vacant cartouche.A frieze of alternating leaf and circular motifs,beaded shoulder,scroll and v shape friezes and dotted motifs on a steeped circular base and having shaped pierced handle and short spout.The base has further decoration and"beading" It has stamped makers marks but these are difficult(for me) to decipher and although in an earlier style the jug is thought to be from the late Victorian period. Condition is excellent. Measurements are 16.5cm high(6 1/2 inches) and at it's widest point 11cm(4 3/8 inches)
