This is a wonderful pair of antique cast iron Eastlake style shelf brackets! They measure a touch over 7" by 5" They date from around the 1870-80's. They are in as-found contdition and have green and are a little rusty. I have not tried to clean them at all. The condition is very good. A collection of 28 assorted vintage metal picture rail hooks or brackets as per the scan. They all measure around 4.5cm. Two of them are more ornate and are patterned and the remainder as plain and in a similar style. They looked to me as though they had sat in a tin a shed or garage for a good few years and all have some tarnish or general discolouration. However they are in otherwise very good condition with no bends or cracks or similar problems.

4 Vintage Metal Swing Arm Extending Drape Curtain Rods with brackets. Rings, screws and original instructions Four beautiful rods with an antiqued brass and copper painted stylized leaf design. The rods are 18" long to the tip of the finial and extend to about 26" The decorative stylized leaf section is about 9 1/2" long by 3" high. The finials are 2 3/4" long by 1 3/4" wide. The original brackets. Screws, instructions and 25 rings(11 separate and 14 on rods) are included. The paint is in very good condition but there is some paint loss as shown in pictures. Two of the rods are missing the finials. One has had the finial re-attached(see picture 11 for closeup of repair)

Two Vintage Ornate Cast Metal Shelf Brackets Art Deco? Style- Painted Black These are vintage shelf brackets. But I'm not sure how old they are or what era- they kind of look art deco. They are made of a cast metal and have been painted black. The design is quite detailed and is very striking. They do have one broken place- the lower hole where you would put a screw is broken on one bracket. I think you could kind of cover it up when you put a screw there. Other than that. There are not any breaks or cracks. The paint is chipping in places, and there is some rust(both on the design part and on the back) it kind of adds to their aged look. Vintage 30-50" Metal Sliding Curtain Rod w Cast Iron Center Clip Ends Brackets
This metal curtain rod with cast iron center piece and cast iron ends came from an estate auction in Vermont. The auctioneer said it was from the 1920's. The rod measures 30" long. Without the end pieces, at it's smallest and 50" long when fully extended. It comes with two brackets. The little flower on the front of each bracket twists to tighten the bracket into place. The cast iron center piece is on a clip and can be removed. The first picture shows the center piece moved to the side. There is only one center piece. This center piece measures 5 3/8" long and 2 1/8" wide. The rod has a bend on the back, see the last picture, that does not affect the rod. The rod has some wear, as do the attached pieces. The rod and brackets have subtle colors running through them. I have another rod listed just like this one.

3 Vintage Iron Metal Factory Shelf Brackets, Also good for hanging antique signs
For your consideration. Three old shelf brackets. Probably cast iron but I suppose they could be steel. Shabby patina but still sturdy enough to hold a heavy shelf. Would look great in an old garage or workshop. I find these are also nice for hanging antique double-sided signs; just turn them upside down and tie on the sign with some old chain or wire. One side is about 8" long, the other about 6" The tips of the long side have been bent up slightly, probably to help hold a shelf in place. Could be bent back down easily enough.
