SET OF FOUR. LARGE, FRENCH ANTIQUE, SOLID BRONZE CURTAIN HOLD BACKS. This set of hold backs each have an embellished shield design to each end. They are made from solid bronze with a gold gilding. There is slight wear to the guilding. Projection from the wall measures 6 inches(15cm) The actual length of each hold back is 15 inches(38cm) All the four hold backs have a makers number to the reverse which is AD5186. This appears both on the bar of the hold back and also on the metal fixing bar. The weight unpackaged is 785g. They are in good condition for their age. This is a great set of large Drapery tie backs. Art Deco in style. Each one has all the same pieces and all appear ready for mounting. You will only need screws There are 6 in total. You can use two at a window or can have one at a window. They are Really Long so they are going to hold back tons of material. Made out of cast Aluminum. There is nothing broken or repaired. The one shows a white area near the decorative spot. This is wear some of the paint needs cleaned and touched up. The pictures make it look much bigger and worse then it is. There is tiny spots of paint missing randomly on all of them. Three are 18 in Long and do not extend any further Three are 18 in Long and will extend to 25 in Long. However I was only able to get one to pull out that far. The other two are to tight for me to pull out and perhaps someone with some strength ... morein there fingers could get them moving. Victorian or Art Nouveau era curtain tie backs. Beautiful stylized foliate/vining design with a trios of berries among the leaves. Retains most of old paint.leave the patina as is or wire brush and paint. I believe that these are steel; they measure approximately 8-1/2" wide and 2-1/4" wide. One rivet on the back. Where the decorative part attaches to the back plate is loose and comes off if you twist it. If you aren't handy, Gorilla glue is the cure. If you are handy, a well-placed hammering with a screwdriver with the decorative piece supported on a piece of wood should secure it.

The trumpet shaped glass flowers are in perfect condition and the ruby color is deep and rich. They have a diameter of 8 cm(3.1" One brass sepal at the back is missing. Condition is generally good however there is a small piece missing from one of the hold backs. The ring below the largest section, the missing piece is lees than half the overall diameter so can't be noticed when mounted. Curtain Hardware Hold Backs Tiebacks Pullbacks Metal 6pcs 1920s Scroll Antique
Purchased from a Kansas estate home built in 1910. I have conservatively dated these 1920's. Each scroll is 18.25" long has two holes for hanging and measures 7-7/8" across at the widest point of the scroll; the metal is.5" wide; mainly green paint on most of them; some have white; some silver; some are just plain dirty; some are down to the metal.
