The set consists of 2 steel knobs, 2 stamped steel escutcheons, 1 steel mortise lock w/1 working key, 1 steel strike plate for the door jamb, and 1 threaded spindle with 2 setscrews. The knobs and escutcheons have an elegant. Art Deco style design. At the point of salvage. All parts were dirty and unevenly tarnished. This auction is for 1 set only. Each will have to be bid on separately. Today you will find some great Eastlake Victorian Hardware. This is in as found condition to protect the patina. Some paint maybe found on them. There is only one knob set screw with the set. The set appears to be brass or bronze and would be a great find for your project. A magnet does stick so they appear to be just plated. It is a great fancy pattern on knob. Faceplate and lockset. The lock set has the letters BLW on the side. I have found no other markings but have seen this pattern listed before. Large Antique BLW cast iron surface rim lock vintage lockset door latch hardware
Beautiful early cast iron rim lock for your consideration made by the Branford Lock Works of Conn. Excellent usable quality large rim lock with catch. Driverod gear spring feels strong and works latch smoothly. There is no deadbolt key for the deadbolt slide however. Vintage Victorian Ornate Westlake Brass Door Knobs and Plates w/ Corbin Lockset
You are bidding on a Westlake style pair of brass door knobs with the plates and the original Corbin lockset. The knobs and plates are in real nice condition with interesting details and carvings or designs. One side is a little more crisp or has a more mellow patina than the other. But both sides are quite nice looking as the set is in real good shape. The lockset says Corbin on it. There is no key. This came out of an old house in Connecticut. For international buyers, there is an additional 2 dollar handling cost to help partially offset the cost of ebay's policy of charging a percentage of shipping.

Victorian lockset 2 Brass backplates 1 brass 1 steel knob spindle & lock
I am selling a very nice Victorian style lockset. It includes 2 brass backplates at 8 3/4 x 2 3/4" 1 brass doorknob at 2 1/2" diam. 1 steel know, same size, the lock and spindle. The face plate of the lock is brass. There are hints of black and copper finish on the backplates and there is some paint on them as well. The strikeplate of the lock is bent, as shown, but should straighten out easily. The knobs each have a quatrafoil-type design but they don't match each other. For rustic. Penn Antique Restoration. Antique"Russwin" Bronze Entry Door Set w/Knob. Pull, Lock, Plates Superb. Antique, exterior door, pull set salvaged from Southwestern Pennsylvania. The set consists of 1 bronze pull consisting of 2 square, back plates and thumb latch; 1 round, bronze, mortise cylinder plate; 1 octagon-shaped glass knob w/brass shank;1 bronze rosette; 1 brass thumbturn; 1 steel mortise lock with a bronze faceplate; 1 bronze mortise cylinder with 1 working bronze key and bronze anti-theft collar; 1 bronze strike plate for the door jamb; 1 2-piece, threaded spindle to connect the knob; and 2 brass bolts and washers, and 2 iron nuts and washers to secure the pull. All parts, except for the pull were made by, Russwin" of New Britain, CT sometime between 1900& 1920. We found the parts with a nice. Rich, patina, which we opted to leave. There are a couple streaks of white paint on the handle. But the rest is tarnish. The beauty of the parts are only matched by their superb condition. All parts are in fine shape with only the light nicks and scratches. That you would expect to find on century-old hardware. Penn Antique Restoration. ~ 6 available ~ Antique Chrome/Brass Interior Door Sets w/ Oval Beaded Knobs& Plates. Although there are 6 sets available. The list price is for 1 set only. If the quantity above falls below 6, then this indicates that 1 or more sets sold. Elegant. Antique, interior door locksets salvaged from Central Iowa. Each set consists of 2 brass knobs, 2 stamped brass escutcheons, 1 steel mortise lock with a brass faceplate and 1 working key, 1 brass strike plate for the door jamb, and 1 spindle with 2 setscrews to connect the knobs. The sets were made some time between 1900& 1920. All brass parts are solid brass. At some point(most likely during the middle of the previous century) All brass parts were chrome-plated. Surprisingly, most of the plating remained! The amount of plating varies from part to part(see"Group ... morephotos" to compare) The knobs have a circular form and the escutcheons have an oval form. Both knobs and escutcheons have beaded trim. In our opinion. The sets are pretty clean. The chrome may be a bit dull, but after some polishing, they'll shine like they did years ago! There are traces of paint here and there, but that too is easily removed(your fingernail will suffice) We're not sure if you prefer a cleaner look, or a dirtier, distressed look. We opted not to clean them to be able to sell the sets for less, but if you prefer your hardware bright and shiny, we could clean the sets for $25/set prior to shipping- email us after the auction if you're interested. There is one subtle dent around each keyhole. They are not easily spotted unless you are looking for flaws. One of the knobs has a small dent on it's side. But it too is not easy to spot, and it will be even tougher to see once installed. This door knob lockset is marked on the inside"A& W CO. and it has the number 107 and 1538 stamped on the inside. The brass furnishings are very nice and heavy. The skeleton key turns the deadbolt latch in and out easily. This locket is different in that the door does not need to be mortised to receive the lockset. This style screws to the back or inside of the door. A side mounted plate(not included) received the door knob ketch and dead bolt. The brass was pitch black and has been cleaned. I am sure it could be polished up to a shiny bright brass finish should you choose to do so. The lockset looks like it fits doors that are 1 inch thick. The lockset measures 6 inches tall and 4 inches wide. The ... morediameter of the knobs is approximately 2 1/8 inches. This piece was recently purchased at a local estate sale. Penn Antique Restoration. Antique Colonial Style Cast Bronze Entry Door Set Lockset. Elegant. Original, antique, exterior door lockset salvaged from Southeastern PA. The set includes 2 bronze knobs, 1 large bronze escutcheon with swinging keyhole cover, 1 bronze rosette, 1 bronze keyhole cover, 1 iron mortise lock with bronze faceplate, 1 working key, 1 bronze strike plate for the door jamb, and 1 spindle with 2 set screws. All bronze parts are solid, heavy, cast bronze. At the point of salvage all parts were dirty. Partially painted, and unevenly tarnished(see last photo) Since then, we've cleaned and polished all parts to the best of our ability. You could tell that the hardware came from a well-maintained home because the set is in great shape! The parts have nicks and scratches. Which are typical for hardware this old, but no breaks, ... morecracks, gouges, or chips. The lock was opened. Inspected, and WD-40 was sprayed on and around all parts to facilitate their movement. A key was made especially for this lock, and we could make more for $6/key—let us know if you are interested. After the auction. Someone removed the buttons from the lock faceplate. The buttons controlled a function. Which disabled/enabled the knobs to turn. With the knobs unable to turn, the upper latch remains extended, in the locked position. In essence, both latches would act as deadbolts and provide extra security. Once the knobs are frozen, and the door is shut, the only way to retract the upper latch is by using the key for the top keyhole. I'm certain that whoever removed the buttons, didn't have the key for the top keyhole and he/she had to force the door open in order to push the button, to enable the knobs to turn. If this were my set, I would remove the buttons as well, and this is not only because I'm a parent of a young child who couldn't help himself from playing with the buttons; but accidents do happen. I have a nice reusable cast iron rim lock for your consideration. Could use a cleaning and lube with the removal of a single standard slot set screw. Driverod gear spring works latch. Marked RH Co. on box and 250 1/2 on the catch. There is no deadbolt key for the deadbolt slide however. Could be used without it with manual locking slide lever that engages and disengages locking latch. Rim lock box measuring 4 1/8 x 3 1/8 inches. Pair of early cermaic black glazed doorknobs and a 1/4 inch driverod included. Up for auction is a use Trilogy Lockset#DL2700 x 626 x RHO This lockset works perfectly. The lock shows a little wear but still looks pretty good. The battery is working fine. The lock is programmable and the code is set at the default setting of 12345. You can reset the code to what you want. The lock is missing 1 small side cover screw(see pic) The lock has a small hole drilled into the side and I don't know what that's for(see pic) The hole is on the secured side of the lock. Bold, entry set salvaged from Northeastern, NJ. The set consists of 2 brass knobs, 1 large brass escutcheon, 1 brass rosette, 1 brass thumbturn, 1 brass anti-theft collar, 1 steel lock with brass faceplate, and 1 split spindle with 2 setscrews. All brass parts are solid, heavy, thick, cast brass not stamped brass or brass-plated iron. Although there are no markings, judging by the design, I am pretty sure this set was made by"Russwin" of New Britain, CT. Unlike most old-fashioned mortise locks. Which have rectangular deadbolts; this lock has cylindrical bolts with odd-shaped heads. When you turn the key, the bolts spin as they spring forth from the lock. The spinning ... morecauses the heads to turn in a corkscrew manner. Because of this feature, this will require a special strike plate with circular holes, not the typical rectangular holes. Unfortunately, we don't have any compatible plates, however, I don't think it would cost too much to have one made-less than $50 for sure. We do not have any mortise cylinders that will fully extend the latch. Our cylinders only push it out halfway. However. You can stop at any locksmith shop to buy one that will work for this lock. The knobs and escutcheons have a lovely design accentuated by a grainy texture on the faces of all the parts except for the lock. At the point of salvage. The set was found with many layers of paint and was heavily tarnished(see last photo) Since then, we've removed the paint, cleaned, and polished the set to the best of our ability. All parts are in great condition with only a few signs of wear like nicks and scratches. Otherwise there are no breaks. Cracks, chips, dents, or heavy scratches. Nice old cast iron rim lock with brown Victorian doorknobs and iron catch for your consideration. Nice heavy iron box measures 4 1/8 x 3 1/4 inches. Included are two doorknobs that I think are Bennington. They are scratched and scuffed from age and use. Although could be reused. One has a flanged neck with driverod for lockside of application. Cast iron rosette included for other side of door. Will need a keyhole cover or another cobination backplate. Locking lever for latch. Engages and disengages locking mechanism smoothly for latch. Drive gear spring feels strong for another lifetime. No deadbolt slide key although it would seem that all internal parts are there for when you find one or have one made. Here is an old lockset that was removed from a home that was built in the 1920's. The latch is marked'Skillman' And the hardware/trim/knobs are all simple stamped steel. Nothing fancy here, just a utilitarian lockset for your old home. One of the escutcheons has a crimp on one edge(see pics) And there is a bit of oxidation and paint on all components. Penn Antique Restoration. Modern Aluminum Door Set Knobs Plates Lock& Strikeplate. Mid Century Modern. Heavy-duty, commercial grade hardware made by"Russwin" of New Britain, CT around the middle of the previous century. The set consists of 2 aluminum knobs, 2 stamped aluminum escutcheons, 1 steel mortise cylinder with 2 working keys, 1 steel mortise lock with an aluminum faceplate, 1 bronze strike plate for the door jamb, and 1 split spindle with a securing nut and a pin. The whitish lines or bands in the latches of the lock are made of some kind plastic. Since this set was used for commercial installation. It was designed to be strong and secure. The exterior knob is permanently affixed to the spindle with a securing pin. Once the knob is mounted on the escutcheon, the tall collar of the plate bars access to the pin. The only ... moreway you could access the pin is by loosening the screw and removing the knob on the other side of the door. The lock is not reversible. And it could only accommodate a door that swings into a home, towards the right. If your door swings in the other direction, you could still install this set, but you would have to install it upside down, with the knobs on top, and cylinder mortise on the bottom. The mortise lock is locked by pushing the bottom button on the faceplate. And unlocked by either pushing the top button or using a key. Once locked, the door could only be opened by turning the knob on the interior side of the door, or by using the key on the exterior side of the door. This is a very convenient feature for the person inside of the room. No more locking and unlocking to let someone in. Simply turn the knob, open the door, let someone in, close the door and it's already locked. To disable the auto-lock feature, simply push the bottom button. The knobs and plates have a simple. The set consists of 2 cast brass knobs, 2 stamped brass escutcheons, 1 iron mortise lock with bronze faceplate, 2 working keys, 1 brass strike plate for the door jamb, and 1 spindle with 2 set screws to connect the knobs. All brass/bronze parts are solid brass/bronze, not brass plated steel. The knobs and escutcheons have a stunning French style design featuring fleur de lis. Prim roses, leaves, cartouches, and various geometric shapes. All parts were found dirty and unevenly tarnished(see last photo) Since then. We've clea ned and polished all parts to a uniform finish. There is a break in the upper right corner of ... morethe cover plate of the lock body. The break does not hinder the set's functionality and once the lock is installed in your door. It will be concealed. There are also some shallow dents and light scratches on the lock's faceplate. If the quantity above falls below 5, this indicates that 1 or more sets sold. Wonderful. Antique, interior door sets salvaged from Southeastern Wisconsin. Each set consists of 2 iron knobs, 2 stamped iron escutcheons, 1 iron mortise lock with 1 working key, 1 iron strike plate for the door jamb, and 1 spindle with 2 setscrews. Originally, the knobs and plates were brass or copper plated; however, some of the plating wore off over the years leaving the parts with a nice, distressed finish. The amount of plating varies from part to part(see"Group photos" for a visual) The knobs have a circular form and the escutcheons have a lovely. Oval form. Both knobs and escutcheons have beaded ... moretrim. At the point of salvage. Some parts were painted, and all were dirty, and rusty(see last photo) We spent hours removing the paint and carefully cleaning and polishing all parts, trying to preserve as much of the plating as possible. All parts have tiny nicks and light scratches. Which is common for hardware this old. Otherwise. All parts are in great shape with no breaks, cracks, chips, dents, or deep scratches. The shank(base) of one of the knobs are slightly loose. If you hold the face of the knob with one hand. And the shank with the other and attempt to turn it; it will turn about 1/32" 1/16" From experience, I know that even if you turn as hard as you could in attempt to completely detach the shank from the knob, you will sooner break the knob than detach the base or cause more looseness. This happens naturally, over time, to some knobs and is not a serious concern. We mentioned it so that you're not surprised and worried when you receive your hardware. We opened. VINTAGE BRASS MORTISE LOCKSET W/ KNOBS DEADBOLT SKELETON KEY
This is a very nice vintage mortise style brass lockset which has a deadbolt and the original key. It measures 5 3/4" wide x 3 1/2" high and is in good condition overall. We have a second similar lockset presently listed as well. We will gladly combine lots whenever possible to save on shipping costs.
