This listing is for a thick heavy American flint glass vase from the late Middle Period- probably 1860 to 1880. It measures 7.75" tall. 7.1" across the top, and 4.25" across the base. It weighs 5 pounds(prior to packing) The base is rayed, and shows very heavy age wear. There are some nicks, and roughness to the top rim and pattern(see photos) but no large chips or problems. Sterling cuff has Mappin& Webb and# 10461 stamped in it along with 4 small emblems that looks like crests of some sort. Approx dimentions: 5" high. 4.25" Diameter Very good condition- glass is fine, a couple visually imperceptible chips on bottom. Small(approx 1/4x1/2" chipped clear coat enamel on center of lid(just visible in photo) Sterling is oxidized but enamel clear coat is intact and I dont know enough about cleaning to risk doing more harm than good. Bearing the mark of the silver smith Alfred Joseph out of Talinn. Wonderfully designed and cut and as bright as when it was made. The hallmark is a female head with the Latvian crown into a rectangular frame with slightly rounded corners and 875 showing the silver content. Large Antique Czech Lamp Finial Prism Cut Glass
Here is a large old cut glass finial. The glass is not glued to the brass metal top but fits in nicely. The base is marked Made In Czecho-slovakia Rindsberger Chicago. The glass has chips on the end that fits into the brass finial and does not show when in place. The visible part has no chips. The metal part is bent slightly. I'd think and easy fix. For your consideration is a vintage sterling silver coaster set. With 6-point star pattern etched glass insets; this 8-piece coaster set sits within a sterling caddy. Each coaster is marked"Sterling" as well as the caddy. I cannot find the maker's name anywhere on this set. The side of the coasters are approximately 7/16" tall; the coasters are approximately 3 3/16" in diameter(outer edge to outer edge) with an interior opening of approximately 3 1/16" The caddy is approximately 2 3/4" tall. The caddy handle has a nice pierced diamond-shaped design. Meeting in the middle to form a solid, elongated pointed oval; the coaster are embellished with a gadroon band. Pretty vintage divided crystal dish. With a Sterling silver pierced repousse border! Marked WALLACE and STERLING 4600-9. The crystal dish has some scratches and wear on the bottom, but not bad, and some teensy nicks on the deep-cut round motifs on the edge(they are so small they may be the result of the cutting process) The silver obviously needs cleaning/polishing. The rim is wavy. It seems like it is pretty uniformly so, so I think it is supposed to be that way. But if it is supposed to be straight, then it is really tweeked! Vintage La Pierre Daffodil cut sterling silver overlay glass mustard jar with a usable underplate. The 5" diameter sterling overlay underplate is not an exact match to the jar but is cut in a similiar floral style. it is free of damage and shows an H monogram. The mustard/jelly jar is 4 1/2" height. It is in good condition but the lid has a non-displaced crack under the surface. You can't feel it and nothing is loose or chipped. Both the lid and base are stamped sterling along with the La Pierre L makers mark. There are no breaks or ruffles in any of the overlay on the jar or the plate. All the glass is clean and free of any stains or residue. Nice look for any table. Starts low with no reserve.
