This is an antique/vintage Hungarian pickling jar currently being sold in stores like Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware for over $140.00 each! This one is aqua cast glass and holds 4 liters measures 12" h x 6" w at the base and is 4" wide at the mouth. These are handblown with air bubbles to prove it and they are not perfect. This one does not have any side seams and has 4 L embossed into the glass. I have another size 5 liter but only in clear and they are in limited quantity so please email me. Antique PAIR of POWDER JARS Milk Glass Circa 1860s - CROWN Finials - Lovely Pair
This is a PAIR of Antique Milk Glass Powder Jars circa 1860. They are identical. Each has a domed lid with a CROWN finial. The base is ribbed and stands up on four little curlicue feet. There is evidence that these may have had gold accents on them at some point. But now you will only see a bit of that on some of the little feet. The top rim of the base is scalloped. You can see little pits and indentations where it appears they were sand cast/poured. One of the bases has an almost"greenish" color cast, not the pure milk glass white color. That base also has a small chip on the inside and a long corresponding crack that runs from the rim, down the side, across the base and up 1/4 inch on the other side. It doesn't appear to be going anywhere and is tight. Noted for sake of completeness. Also, you may see some tiny little rim ... morenicks on some of the top scalloped edges but they are minor and again for sake of completeness. Each stands about 4-1/2 inches tall and measures 4-1/2 inches across the opening of the base. Nice little matching display pieces for your extra fine vanity! These two old jars have applied gold glass labels with black lettering. Both measure 7" tall to the rim. 7 1/8" tall with the stoppers& 2 1/4" in diameter at the base. No chips or cracks. The rims are wonderful. No flea bites, and the lids perfect. These are the correct lids and fit nice and snug. The glass to both is clear with just a bit of hazing, scattered light scratches and nicks consistent with age. Neither jar is marked. Combined wei ght is 1 pound. 5 ounces, prior to packing. It is a charming piece with an assortment of contents. Included are: A chest that is approx. 8-1/2" w) x 6-3/4" d) x 8-1/2" h) that opens to slots for 12 bottles. It also has a drawer with a lift out tray. Ten bottles; 6 of these have rough. Unpolished pontils. Most of the bottles have chips to the rim and or stoppers. Two of the bottles are cracked- one of these has a large missing piece from the neck. A glass mortar and pestle and Scales and weights(maybe incomplete) The key is missing and there is no latch. The first one is the 8th Edition from 1990 and the second one is the 22nd edition from 2004. Each one features a nice variety of collectible antiques and information on fakes and reproductions. It also provides the latest prices listings that makes these books the most reliable source for dealers and collectors. The last book is the Complete Cookie Jar Book by Mike Schnieder. This book is hard cover. It is from 1991 and it has over 298 pages of listings for collectible cookie jars. None of the books have any tears or rips that I can see; however, I did not flip every single page of each book. Overall, they are in good used condition. 2 Antique Rowntrees Gums~Art Nouveau Glass Candy Store Counter Jars & Lids!
I could have sold these early 1900's Candy Store Counter display jars seperate. But the have been together for so long I'am listing them in one sale with no reserve! Each hand blown glass jar measures 5 1/2" base dia x 12" total ht including the lid. The tin lids are embossed with a great looking Art Nouveau/ Art Deco design and the sides are punched with the name"Rowntrees Gums" on the front& back side. Since the display jars are hand blown one jar weighs 2.1 lbs and the other one is over a pound heavier weighing 3.3 lbs. Both are still in ex condition however one jar has two nicks on the inside edge of the top rim( see last two pics) Both nicks are well concealed when the lid is firmly in place.

This is an incredible barn find- a set of over 50 white milk glass jars. Most do not have the labels intact. But those that do have show"farmecutico" or"botica" with various ingredients. This is a beautiful set of what I believe is Victorian era powder or dresser jars. There are varied designs cut into the glass. This gives wonderful light reflection. The lids I think are pewter and show their age. One jar has a 1/4 inch chip above the round base. Pictured in photo's#9& 10. It does not detract from the jar due to the location. The bulbous area of the jar conceals this and the various patterns catch the eye. The jars stand about 3 3/4" with the lids. The top opening is 2 1/2" across and the circular base is just over 2 1/4" across. The jars weigh just over 1 pound each. This is a very nice Silver Plated Condiment Set with 2 Crystal Glass serving jars. Made and marked by the Meriden- B. Co. The marking is a balanced scale with Meriden B. Company around it. It measures 12 7/16" high and 8 1/4" wide and 4 1/4" deep. The glass containers measure 3 3/8" wide by 3 3/4" high. It is a heavy set. Weighing over 3 lbs. I have left a lot of the patina on it, but it can be polished more. It has been in my storage for many, many years. It is in good condition. And the glasses do not have any chips or cracks.

Two antique glass pharmacy jars/ bottles. The top edge of one jar has a chip and the other jar has larger chips on the top. One has a small chip on the edge of the label frame. There is a streak in the glass at the neck area of one. It could be a crack but both the inside and outside surfaces are smooth. The top of the stopper of one has two small chipped areas and the other has one small chip at the top edge. The bottoms of the stoppers have chips. The glass labels are gone. Even though there are flaws. They still have a nice overall appearance. The bottoms are marked W.T. CO B. They need some cleaning. Ive been told these are many different things from jelly jars to candle holders. All i really know is that is very old glass. They have everything in the book offset mold lines.Bubbles,wavy glass look and they have thick or wavy bases one is way thicker than the other. That's it for the problems. I like that the bigger ones are different shapes. The small two on the bottom are perfect. Antique Apothecary leather Columbia Exposition Bag Bottles Glass Jars
Up for auction today is an Antique Apothecary Bag Bottles Scales Glass Mortar Pestle Jars. This bad was featured in the 1893 Columbian exposition and it's stamped on the inside of the bad. The bag shows wear from usage and the leather is starting to dry and crack on the flaps. Shows staining on the leather. Handle is broken on one side and has been taped back together. One front buckle is starting to fall off on the outside. Inside shows some staining and wear to the purple material. Two of the glass pill tubes one with cork and one screw top have the bottom broken out. Bottom of some of the stoppers have flea bites. One pill bottle has a thermometer on the inside. Bag measures 11" x 6 1/2" x 5 1/2" Bottles measure 4 3/4" tall. This is a auction for a group of three antique glass apothecary jars that each have the labels under glass. There are two with small stoppers and one with a bit bigger stopper. Each stopper fits nicely and the labels are in nice shape as well with only a bit of the labels missing on the edges as shown. They each stand approximately 9" tall with one being 9 1/2" tall. There are no chips. Cracks, or cloudiness on the jars the lids are all ground and have some wear on the ends. The jars contained as follows, Pot. Iodid, Ol Terebinth, and Fl. Ex. Stramonii.
