Antique Silver& Glass Epergne Fantastic showy antique silver plate epergne centerpiece and 5 custom made cut glass bowls. Four decorative arms ensconced with decorative leaves. Cradle the 5 original cut glass bowls(crystal? The large curved branches have hand chased details on 4 raised feet. This outstanding piece of table silver is from my mom's(99 yo) long deceased grandmother's Texas estate sale. I am unsure of the exact age, but has been in 3 generations of my family's possion for many decades. All the bowls and silver branches are all detachable. The top has a pierced decorative gallery. The piece stands a total height from table top to top of large bowl of 13 3/4" tall. The total width is 21 1/4" width. The silver alone weighs a whopping 8 lb 6.6 oz. It remains in very good to superb condition with no repairs, ... moredents, scratches. There is one small chip of cut glass smaller than finger nail off one of the small bowls. The tiny chip is not noticeable. There is very faint plating loss on the repousse leafs under the main bowl. It rocks just a bit on a flat surface. I can find no makers marks on the piece. There are some small numbers faintly etched in the base. No initials found. A wonderful addition to your table. Don't let this rare wonderful piece get away. BID NOW! This antique sterling silver epergne/ centrepiece has a plain. Tapering form with a flared rim onto a bell shaped base. The main flute has a pierced decorated rim. Ornamented with a Chippendale style border. This Edwardian centrepiece is fitted with three plain scrolling sterling silver arms. Each arm is attached terminates with a circular receiver. Each receiver holds one of the three original removable fully hallmarked flutes. Embellished with a pierced decorated rim and a Chippendale style border. MAGNIFICENT ANTIQUE WMF SILVERPLATE CENTERPIECE/EPERGNE w/CRYSTAL VASE- 1880's The silver centerpiece has a detailed scroll design with some floral accents and depicts a beautiful woman with a cherub/ cupid and a swan. The bowls of the centerpiece have some gold hues but we can't determine if this is base metal showing through or part of the tarnish. The vase is crystal. Cut& etched. Marked"WMF" 1880's. I/O- normal thickness silver plating, A.S. antique silver finish. Good antique condition overall. We have not polished the piece. It is in its original condition. The swan is loose and needs a solder& a screw nut. Some of the ruffle around the edge of the vase is chipped(see photo#10) but there are no cracks. Antique silver plate epergne This epergne has a silver plate base- some of the silver plating has come off and you can see the brass? underneath. Upper part still retains the silver plate. Entire piece needs cleaning. It has 5 glass vases/hor ns. T he 2 flower looking ones have corks at the end and look to be original to the piece. The other three are probably replacements. There are no chips or cracks to the glass except a tiny chip to one of the o lder(see ph oto) and a very tiny flea chip to the rim of one of the newer ones. There is four holders that set into the piece that I am guessing would hold either flowers. Or candles. Antique Victorian Figural Epergne Frame/Holder Only
This is the stand for a Victorian art glass epergne with a Victorian lady. This once held 3 ruffle art glass bowls and one lily until I broke. I paid 1600.00 for this and only have the base left. I am sick. but hopeful someone can use the awesome stand. Measures app 12" in height. x 10" 4' from the center to the screw for the side bowls. There is some wear to the paint but this is how it was when I purchased. The left arm does have a crack/break and could use a little attention just to keep it secure and from breaking off. Still secure but just to prevent further damage. Base is 5 1/2" x 7" The top piece that once held the epergne lily still has glass in the hole and will need to be removed and leaving that for the high bidder. Being sold as is and as found. Antique Rubina Verde Vaseline Glass 3 Lily Epergne Sheffield Silverplate Holder Description: Antique Rubina Verde Vaseline glass with opalescent ruffled rim three lily epergne. The glass is most likely to have been made in Stourbridge. England and is of exceptional quality. Rubina Verde is Victorian glassware that was shaded from red to green. In the 1880's. United States glassmakers such as Hobbs, Brockunier& Co. introduced uranium oxide as a colorant in Rubina Verde, producing glass that faded from ruby to the yellow-green color now known as"canary" or"Vaseline. The Vaseline in the lilies of this piece fluoresces nicely under a black light. The silver plate wirework holder bears the marker's mark of John Turton& Co. which was in operation in Sheffield from 1898- 1923. Which helps date this piece. This a beautiful pair of Antique Victorian Meriden silver plate Co. figural cupid angel candleholders. I'm not sure what type of insert it had to hold the candles. It could also be a base for a wedding basket or an epergne. They are deeply detailed both on the top& bottom with birds, foliage& flowers. A sweet cupid angel stand in the center holding a bow and arrow. The metal string is not attached so you can adjust it. Five Old Antique Hand Blown Amethyst Cut Glass Epergne Centrepiece Trumpet Vases Here's five amethyst glass Epergne trumpets originally from an Epergne centrepiece. Four of the hand blown glass trumpets measure 13.5 cms long and one measures 15.5 cms long. The trumpets measure 10 cms across the top for the smaller ones and 12 cms across the top for the larger one. The four smaller trumpets each have hand cut engravings of flowers on them. The trumpet vases are all in fine undamaged condition with no chips or cracks. The larger trumpet has a rough finish on the base where it's been snipped off from the blowers glass rod as pictured.

Antique Opalescent frosted glass epergne
This is an interesting piece that my mother remembers her parents acquiring in the 1939. I do not know what kind of glass this is for sure. The bottom appears to look similiar to peach blow. The bottom of the epergne is engraved/inscribed New York World's Fair 1939. The tulip does not seem to have any chips or breaks except the bottom of the tulip(center piece) that goes into the holder look like it may be chipped on the bottom, there also is a scratch on the glass(see picture# 11) also the glass on the tulip seems uneven as the tulip or center piece has ruffles on one side and sharper edges on another, I think the glass was just made that way. Beautiful antique epergne dating to the 1890's. Gorgeous combination of cranberry and vaseline glass. The flutes have a stem design with extended pointed detailing and opalescent rims. The base has a fluted opalescent rim. The cranberry baskets have an intricate ribbing design and can swivel in their base. All hand blown glass. The epergne measures 14" high and 9" in diameter across the base. Selling in"as is" condition. The epergne includes three flutes. Two baskets and centrepiece all in very good condition. As is" The centre flute is missing and the third cranberry basket has its stem broken off. I will include it in case it can be repaired, otherwise the brass hardware can be removed and used to replace the basket. This is a highly detailed and striking silver plated Table centre piece. It could be used as an Epergne but the glass insert is not present. Or a candlestick. Flanked both front and back with an Egyption style figurehead to the base. With Acanthus leaf decoration. Together with a Rococo style design with chased fishes/serpents I would date this to late 1890- 1910 There is rubbing to the surface with age related wear.evidence of silver polish throughout.It is blackended on the underside where it has not been cleaned.I would just like to point out that the end screw caps do not screw completely ... moreflush. Antique Set of 2 Vienna Bronze Bird Vases Pink Cut Glass Epergne UNUSUAL
You are bidding on a pair of cut glass bud vases/ flower holders with metal stands and Vienna bronze cold-painted bird decoration. This is a very unusual set. And it was probably part of an epergne. From my research, I have found that these two pieces probably flanked a larger center piece, whereupon all three pieces would be set on a dining table or sideboard. The two pink glass vases appear to be cut, although they could also be pressed.I'm sorry, but I can't tell. They are inserted into the lightweight metal stands. The bronze cold-painted birds are attached to the metal stands. Please note that the stands are not bronze, but a lightweight metal. Antique Clear Glass Epergne Vase Victorian Flowers Brass Ormolu
Selling is a wonderful antique hand blown clear glass epergne. The piece has one tall vase and 3 lower vases. The ormolu brass holder features bird or phoenix heads. The clear glass vase parts have ruffled edges. The center vase screws into place and the others ones sit in a holder. The piece measures almost 16" tall and 10" at the widest. The epergne is in very good condition. There are a couple shallow chips at the ruffled edge but these do not go all the way through the glass. This makes a beautiful centerpiece.
