Dating from the mid to late 19th century and originating from Burma. The body is carved. Lacquered, and gilded wood decorated with inlaid glass gems and mirror work. The head, hands, and feet are made or carved white translucent alabaster, and the ornate gilded head piece is made of metal. Circa 1865- 1890's. Mandalay. Peaceful expression carved into the alabaster face and graceful stylized carving of the hands and feet. It depicts the Buddha as a young man. The head dress or crown ... moreis made of cut and fabricated metal. Probably sheet iron or brass, and decorated with stamp-work, hand-cut inlaid glass mirrors, and a gilded surface. It is removable. The carved alabaster head has elongated ears and sits in a cavity at the neckline of the carved wooden body. It is easily removable. The alabaster is of a fine grade. Very pure and white with a slightly translucent quality that makes it almost glow in the light. This is an extraordinarily plain example of early Burmese glass. There i s a ground pontil break. There are no marks or decorations. And the shading from yellow to pink is quite delightfully subtle. The piece is typical of early Mt. Washington Burmese glass. Although I have no provenance. The original collector/owner had it priced at $125.00. But the price tag was missed by the estate seller. Antique Thomas Webb Burmese vase. Gorgeous Victorian Burmese blue glass vase Hand made vase in Burmese blue colour cased over white with lovely air twist azure cord design. Measures 5" inches high. Really nice shape and finish Condition is very good has some of the usual small air bubbles in the actual glass has small blemish/fracture on the side but no unevenness to it very smooth on the inside and out presume was flaw when it was made. Antique burmese glass sugar bowl two handle cup hand blown
This is a hand blown burmese glass two handle cup or sugar bowl. The piece is 2 inches high and 5 1/8 inches across including the handles. The handles are applied. We do not know the maker of this piece. Possibly Mt. Washington or Webb. We believe it dates to the late 19 th century. The cup has no chips but it does have a hairline crack where one of the handles were applied. The crack is original to the time it was made.

Antique Perfume Bottle Mt Washington Webb Burmese Glass Silver (#3356)
19th century lay down sterling silver and enameled glass perfume bottle. Made either by Mt. Washington in the USA, or Thomas Webb& Sons in England. Total length is 8 1/2 inches. Long. Tapering bottle in ivory coloured glass, beautifully enameled with delicate scrolling branches with flowers in full bloom and buds and foliage. COlours are red, pinks, salmons, orange, and shades of green and brown, all highlighted with gold. Pattern entirely encircles the bottle, including the bottom. THe swirling sterling silver lid is hallmarked twice, once with an animal head and one oval with IP. No stopper. The bottle was made either by Mt. Washington as was a 4inch example with a bamboo pattern. Similarly enameled in Jacquelyne Jones North's 1986 book on perfume bottles, page 21. It is also very similarly decorated to examples of Webb Burmese ... moreglass, one page 39 Revi's Nineteenth Century Glass. Condition looks very good to the naked eye. But magnifying glass reveals a small slightly uneven patch(less than 1/4 inch wide) on the bottom, which may be original to the bottle, mentioned only for total accuracy. Phenomenal antique Burmese glass mantle vase. One of a pair- see my other auctions by seller page for the complementary vase. This vase is large- 8" tall; top diameter 3 5/8" The coloration of the vase is elusive. It shades from pink to yellow. Though in some light the vase appears pinkish at the bottom, almost like a peachblow. The pictures of the underneath of the vase convey the yellow color more clearly. The vase fluoresce bright yellow under black light. The vase is matte finish on the outside and shiny on the inside. The vase features an exquisitely hand painted scene with birds and water and branches with blossoms. Part of the birds are in relief. The vase has a ground pontil. The vase is numbered on the bottom. Antique Burmese Glass Clarke's Fairy Lamp Centerpiece HUGE UNUSUAL
This is truly unbelievable. I am going to let you shoppers be the judge of how this thing really works. I bought all these pieces together and not sure if it's put together right. I am familiar with Clarkes Fairy lamps but this piece has me baffled. So I decided to sell everything together. If it doesnt all go together then high bidder gets some bonus pieces. The two small pieces that are separate look as if they fit together, but trust me they don't, the dome is too large for the clear base. This is a unusually large centerpiece, I do believe it's Burmese, you be the judge. Both clear pieces and brass center are marked Clarkes Fairy. The clear pieces do have damage, the rest of the pieces have no damage. I have seen quite a bit of this type of glass but never this large. Base is 12" across, top base is 6 1/2" across. ... moreIt stands 7 1/2" tall. The two domes are: 3 3/8" wide by 3" tall. other one is 2 3/4" tall by 2 1/2" wide. Vintage/Antique Victorian Glossy Mt Washington Burmese Glass Light 5" Lamp Shade
Hello everyone. I'm listing in this auction an antique Mt. Washington Burmese glass shade with a glossy finish. It's known to be very rare for not having the acid bathed satin finish. It's a delicate piece of glass and amazing that it's survived for about 130 years. There is one small chip on the base rim which can't be seen when the shade is mounted. The crimped rim has no chips, no nips or flakes and the shade has no cracks or repairs. The base rim measures about 2 1/8" across from one outside edge to the other, the height is somewhat irregular from the glass making process but it's about 5 1/4" tall. The rarity of the shade simply goes without saying. I live in the New England area and it's the first one I've ever seen. Antique WEBB BURMESE WHISKEY TUMBLER Enameled DIAMOND OPTIC Glass Mt. Washington Offered for sale is this antique Webb art glass Burmese enameled diamond optic whiskey tumbler. A scarce and beautiful piece of antique glass. This is the second and last of these I have for sale. Please excuse the reflections in the pictures. SIZE: The tumbler is approximately 2.75 inches high. And is approximately 2.25 inches diameter. CONDITION: It is in excellent condition. There is no damage to the glass. There is a tiny bubble in the enamel on one of the yellow petals. The pen is pointing to it in the close up picture. There are some remnants of the previous owner's inventory sticker on the bottom. And proved very difficult to photograph approximately 10.1/4 inches high Condition: Piece remains in excellent condition with no chips. Cracks, or other damage. Paint decoration is worn. Black mark to interior of bottle at neck. This is in the glass, and as done during the manufacture.

LQQK!! MONUMENTAL BURMESE GLASS PITCHER ANTIQUE 1800'S VICTORIAN MT WASHINGTON?
Up for grabs is a beautiful and rare burmese pitcher or ewer from the 1880's. I'm thinking this was produced by Mt Washington but not sure. Creamy yellow to pink hand blown glass with applied thorn handle and matsunoke plums or cherries and leaves motif. Applied twisted feet and a rasberry prunt to cover the pontil. I think there might be a chip or something missing on the applied art on the front.hence the lighter shaded area to the right of the fruit.
