Antique 1860 Color Flower Plant Print Ann Pratt Botanical Plate 197 Green Osier
This incredible print is from an 1860 copy of"The Flowering Plants and Ferns of Great Britain" It measures 5 1/2" x 9" and is a nice heavy weight paper that is blank on the back. The drawings are by Anne Pratt. Rendered in block-colored plates and finished by hand. The colors are wonderful and it would be incredible framed either alone or in a group. The scan doesn't really show the beauty of this print! Illustrated on this print: Different varieties of Willow and Osier One or 2 light foxing spots and slight darkening of paper as would be expected in paper that is almost 151 years old. Scan may be darker than actual print. Thanks and check out all my other listings of these beautiful antique botanical p rints. Please contact me with any questions. Ebay.
