This is a salvaged part from a old house that was taken down several year ago. The finial has been cracked on the bottom turning and put back together by someone. Doesn't look bad but you may want to improve on the old job. Bottom is 4.5 inch's wide and 4 inch's at top with a 1 1/4 inch ball on top. See pictures.
